A server computer system comprises a communications module; a processor coupled with the communications module; and a memory coupled to the processor and storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the processor, configure the processor to receive, via the communications module and from a computing device associated with a contributing member, a signal defining one or more interface elements to be displayed on a computing device associated with a non-contributing member and one or more interface elements to be withheld from being displayed on the computing device associated with the non-contributing member; complete a booking request by applying loyalty points from a loyalty point account associated with a group of contributing members to offset a cost of the booking request for the non-contributing member; and responsive to completing the booking request, send, via the communications module and to the computing device associated with the non-contributing member, a signal indicating that the group of contributing members have contributed loyalty points to offset the cost of the booking request for the non-contributing member and including a selectable option that, when selected, causes the computing device associated with the non-contributing member to display a user interface that includes the one or more interface elements to be displayed and does not include the one or more interface elements to be withheld from being displayed.

Systems and Methods to Provide a User Interface for Redemption of Loyalty Rewards

A system includes a rule engine to determine details of loyalty reward currency redemption from one or more reward accounts as part of the processing of a payment transaction in a payment account of a user. The redemption details are determined based on user preferences and rules of the loyalty programs, and transmitted to the user during the authorization of the payment transaction. During the authorization and/or within a time window after the authorization, but before the settlement of the payment transaction, the user may provide a confirmation message that may accept, reject, or modify the redemption details. A transaction handler is configured to authorize and/or settle the payment transaction, as modified by the redemption details initially computed by the rule engine and subsequently confirmed, rejected or modified by the user via an optional confirmation message.

MERCHANDISE SALES DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS

A merchandise sales data processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes an input device, a storage unit, and a processor. The input device receives first customer information, second customer information indicating the user's participation in a reward program in a store at which the user is currently purchasing merchandise, and merchandise sales data. The storage unit stores the received first customer information, the second customer information, company code information indicating the store, and reward information of the user in the reward program. A first transmission section transmits the received first customer specification information and the company code information to an outside apparatus. A privilege generation section generates the reward information when the second customer specification information is received. An electronic receipt data generation section generates and transmits the electronic receipt information including the merchandise sales data and the reward information.

Program, system, and method for linking community programs and merchants in a marketing program

The present invention is a system, data access management utility and a method of generating links between local merchants and community programs, whereby the merchant may provide incentives to customers in relation to community programs. The present invention may track community programs, as well as both online and offline customer transactions between participants that make use of the incentive. The present invention may include as participants, customers, merchants, community organizations, intermediaries, and other groups or individuals. Participants may have participant identifiers, which may be linked to a payment source. Data may be collected about all participants, either expressly, or from offline or online transactions between participants utilizing a participant identifier, and said data may be stored in a data storage area. All data in the data storage area may be utilized by logic tool, which may provide information, such as details of consumer behaviour and analytic reporting. Matches between transactions and members and/or member activities may be identified by the system, and a level of certainty that the match is accurate may be determined.

Method for populating member profiles

Methods, devices and media for a pre-enrollment registration system are described. The method includes: receiving signals representing pre-enrollment data, the pre-enrollment data including profile information associated with at least one prospective member; generating, with the at least one processor, a registration identifier for each of the at least one prospective members; storing each of the registration identifiers in association with the respective prospective member profile information; receiving, at the at least one processor, signals representing a registration request including the registration identifier associated with a requesting prospective member; generating, with the at least one processor, signals for displaying an interface, the interface including a plurality of profile fields, wherein at least one of the profile fields are pre-populated with at least a portion of the profile information associated with the requesting prospective member; and receiving signals for modifying or confirming the pre-populated profile fields.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS

A method for facilitating transactions is provided. Various users register their payment modes to avail a payment mode interchange service offered by a server for online purchases. During registration, the users specify corresponding offer amounts in exchange for allowing purchases of other users to be performed by using their payment modes. When an offer on a purchase is not applicable on a payment mode of a first user, the first user is recommended by the server to make the purchase by using a payment mode of a second user on which the offer is applicable. The payment mode of the second user is charged with a purchase amount of the purchase and the offer amount specified by the second user is billed on the payment mode of the first user. The second user receives the offer amount and the first user receives an incentive associated with the offer.

Method, System, and Computer Program Product for Processing a Transaction Initiated Using an Electronic Wallet

A method for processing a transaction initiated using an electronic wallet application may include storing a virtual payment device configured to initiate a transaction. A rewards inquiry may be communicated to an issuer. A rewards inquiry response may be received from the issuer containing a rewards amount associated with the virtual payment device. The rewards amount may be displayed. A transaction may be initiated with a merchant using the virtual payment device. A redemption request may be communicated to the issuer. A redemption response including an updated rewards amount may be received from the issuer and include a difference between the rewards amount and the rewards amount applied toward the transaction. A system and computer program product are also disclosed.
