DECENTRALIZED COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LOYALTY POINTS PAYMENTS USING DISTRIBUTED LEDGERS
Decentralized computer systems and methods are disclosed for establishing and conducting payment processing with loyalty points using distributed ledger. One method includes: receiving a consumer identification, an issuer identification, and transaction information from a point of sale system when the loyalty card is presented for a transaction of a good or service at a merchant, identifying the network node containing distributed ledger associated with the issuer according to received issuer identification prompting, to participants of the shared ledger, to validate whether the consumer distributed ledger has required loyalty points for the transaction; if all of the participants of the shared ledger accepts the transaction, generating, a new immutable entry to the distributed ledger for the transaction with remaining loyalty points in the loyalty card after deducting the points required for the transaction; and sending a transaction approved message to the point of sale system at the merchant.
Intelligent fuel dispensers
In general, intelligent fuel dispensers are provided. In at least some implementations, an intelligent fuel dispenser can determine customer identities and/or other characteristics and provide customized fueling sessions based on the determined customer identities and/or other characteristics. In at least some implementations, the fuel dispenser includes a touchless interface allowing customers to complete fueling sessions with minimal physical contact with the fuel dispenser.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR ATTRACTING LOCAL AND REGIONAL BUSINESSES TO AN AUTOMATED CAUSE MARKETING ENVIRONMENT
The present invention teaches a system, method and computer program for enabling local or regional merchants to participate in an automated cause marketing (ACM) program. The ACM program that may provide benefits to several parties involved in fundraising for one or more supported organizations, including one or more supported organizations, advertising providers, merchants, and individuals. Merchants are able to access enhanced analytics regarding their transactions with members and non-members of the ACM program and can use these enhanced analytics to realize an increased number of or revenue from transactions with members. The present invention also teaches a system and method for enabling advertising providers to acquire and analyze data associated with consumers-merchant transactions. The present invention provides the above advantages optimally using a mobile device. Furthermore, the present invention, may enable a member to disseminate its charitable preferences to members of its electronic social networks.
Systems And Methods For Changing Operation Modes In A Loyalty Program
A method for changing operation modes includes receiving disaster information from trending data, a newsfeed, or an alert message; upon detecting at least one redirection trigger from the disaster information, configuring a loyalty system to operate in a redirection mode; receiving or accessing data associated with a transaction between a customer and a merchant; determining, from at least one of customer information and merchant information in the data associated with the transaction, a donation amount and a location associated with the transaction; when the loyalty system is configured to operate in a redirection mode, generating signals to cause accrual of at least a portion of the donation amount to a redirection account based on the location associated with the transaction; and generating signals to cause accrual of any remaining portion of the donation amount to one or more defined donation accounts based on charity catchment area parameters.
SYSTEM FOR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The system and method may receive transaction data for a financial account associated with a user during a first time period and a second time period. A first environmental impact score for the transaction data associated with the user in the first time period may be determined and a second environmental impact score for the transaction data associated with the user in the second time period may also be determined. The first environmental impact score and the second environmental impact score may be compared. The system and method may determine whether there has been a change from the first environmental impact score to the second environmental impact score. In response to a determination that the second environmental impact score is less than the first environmental impact score; a bonus score may be determined for the user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROMOTING PRODUCT SALES
The disclosed technology for distributing a portion of a sales profit to purchasers if a product selling event is successful, thereby promoting product sales, wherein the sales profit distribution system may include a product payment unit adapted to allow a payment for the product to be made through a terminal of the purchaser; and a profit distribution unit adapted to calculate an individual distribution profit to be distributed to the purchaser from the distribution profit, and the sales profit distribution method may include the steps of: (a) performing a payment for the product by a terminal of the purchaser through a product payment unit; and (b) calculating an individual distribution profit to be distributed to the purchaser from the distribution profit through a profit distribution unit.
Systems and methods of reserving space attended delivery/pickup locations
A system for enabling users to reserve space at attended delivery/pickup locations to at least substantially guarantee that the attended delivery/pickup locations will have capacity to receive parcels requested to be delivered to them. In various embodiments, the system is configured to substantially automatically reserve space in response to receiving a request to delivery one or more parcels to a particular attended delivery/pickup location. In other embodiments, the system is configured to enable users to reserve space at attended delivery/pickup locations.
Accessing and utilizing multiple loyalty point accounts
Various embodiments are generally directed to utilizing an offline and/or online verification or authentication protocol to access, redeem, or otherwise utilize multiple loyalty points and loyalty accounts A method for utilizing various loyalty points includes: determining that a user is requesting access to a loyalty points account database, receiving encrypted data generated based a cryptographic algorithm and a diversified key, receiving, a verification of the user, the verification including verifying a data combination that includes the encrypted data, where a server associated with the issuer may decrypt the data combination based on the cryptographic algorithm and the diversified key, responsive to receiving the verification of the user, accessing the database associated with a loyalty points account of the user, and authorizing a redemption of a plurality of loyalty points associated with the loyalty points account.
POS TERMINAL(S) WITH FREE FORM REWARDS ARCHITECTURE
A merchant point-of-sale (POS) system architecture is provided. Systems and methods are provided for enabling free form rewards in a custom rewards transaction at a POS terminal. A custom rewards transaction may be a transaction in which a customer opts-in to a merchant-funded rewards (MFR) program. The merchant may offer rewards in the MFR program based on location and customer data. The merchant may offer rewards that promote customer behaviors that are advantageous to the merchant.
