Methods and systems for authentication, immutability and trusted timestamping of large audit event logs reported by electronic platforms are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method involves: audit log events aggregation into timeframe aligned data blocks, reporting of data block hashes into blockchain database for authentication, immutability and trusted timestamping. An aspect of the method involves achieving authentication, immutability and trusted timestamping guarantees for audit log events with low computational and networking overhead due to utilization of blockchain database consensus protocol only for batched event data blocks rather than for separate events. Multiple events during specific period of time are grouped into separate data block and cryptographic hash of the whole block is reported to blockchain database to ensure its authentication, immutability and trusted timestamping.

A system for processing images captured in a retail store and automatically identifying misplaced products is provided. The system may comprise at least one processor configured to receive one or more images captured by one or more image sensors from an environment of a retail store, detect in the one or more images a first product, determine that the first product is not located in the first correct display location, cause an issuance of a user-notification associated with the first product, detect in the one or more images a second product, determine that the second product is not located in the second correct display location, and after determining that the second product is not located in the second correct display location and when the second urgency level is lower than the first urgency level, withhold issuance of a user-notification associated with the second product.

A method for media content tracking is disclosed. The method includes receiving a user identifier and instructing display systems to display media content based on the user identifier. Each display system has a corresponding screen. The method also includes receiving image data from an imaging system configured to have a field of view arranged to capture images of a user. The method further includes determining gaze characteristics of the user including a gaze target of the user. The method further includes determining whether the gaze target corresponds to one of the screens. When the gaze target corresponds to one of the screens, the method includes determining a time period of gaze engagement with the corresponding screen. The method also includes storing at least one of the gaze characteristics and the media content or an identifier of the media content displayed on the screen corresponding to the gaze target.

Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose an information processing method, a server, and a non-volatile storage medium. The method includes obtaining first log information in a first time period and then obtaining, based on the first log information, terminal information of a terminal that performs a hit behavior on a media information display place. The method includes determining, based on the terminal information, regional information corresponding to the terminal, where the regional information is used to indicate a region in which the terminal is located. The method also includes determining whether the number of regions in which the terminal is located is greater than a first threshold in a preset time range according to the regional information. A distributed data processing and collection system improves effectiveness of data processing and collection by distributing data processing tasks and data collection tasks across a plurality of first computers, a plurality of second computers, and one or more servers. An audience measurement computing system for monitoring a media presentation device in a monitored environment is described and includes a network interface, at least one processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions executable by the processor(s). The computing system is configured to obtain, via a cable connected to an input port of the media presentation device, a voltage signal generated by the media presentation device based on an operational state of the media presentation device; compare voltage indicated by the voltage signal to a threshold; based on the comparing, generate timestamped operational state data comprising a record indicative of when the media presentation device is in an on-state; obtain audience measurement data representing one or more media signals communicated to the media presentation device; and transmit, via the network interface over a network and to a central facility, the timestamped operational state data and the audience measurement data.
