The proposal plan is optimized for a second time period in the flight by an in-flight re-distribution of the target audience across the set of delivery platforms. Execution of the optimized proposal plan is controlled for the second time period in the flight on the first delivery platform.
Cross-channel personalized marketing optimization
A cost-focused determination of whether to deliver an electronic advertisement or notice to a particular user can be made through a cumulative consideration of the predicted return on investment over each of a plurality of electronic channels. A plurality of channel-specific budget values are calculated for the user, one for each channel, each setting an upper spending limit for advertisement to the user over that channel based on the user's information and their activity on the channel. A global budget is calculated for the user using a weighted aggregation of the channel-specific values, information about the user and their activity with the advertiser, and consideration of overlap effects of advertising to the same user on several channels. When managing whether to deliver an advertisement over a channel, if the channel-specific value is lower than the global budget, the advertisement is delivered, and the global budget is decreased by a complementary amount.

Methods and apparatus to correct for deterioration of a demographic model to associate demographic information with media impression information are disclosed. An example method includes estimating first and second ages of audience members based on demographic information; estimating a third age of an audience member who is not included in the audience members; applying a window function to the second ages to determine a distribution of ages based on the third age; multiplying window values by the first ages to determine corrected first age components; dividing a total of the corrected first age components by a sum of the window values to determine an estimated age of the audience member at a first time; and determining the corrected age of the audience member at a second time based on the estimated age of the audience member at the first time and a time difference between the first and second times.

The invention provides systems and methods for collecting point-of-sale (POS) data, and then using this data to determine the effectiveness of a given promotion. The transaction data includes a merchant identifier for each of the merchants and a transaction amount for each transaction involving the merchants. One of the merchants is a promotion merchant that is offering a promotion involving transactions made with the merchant. A portion of the transaction data is aggregated into control merchant aggregated data involving control merchants, where the control merchant aggregated data comprises transaction data obtained other than from the promotion merchant. A characteristic of the purchases is calculated, both for transactions involving the promotion merchant and for the control merchants.

An online system monitors actions performed by users of the online system in association with being presented with content items that are associated with various categories. A histogram may be generated to describe a pattern of an action previously performed by a user in response to being presented with content items associated with a category. The online system trains a model to predict a likelihood that the user will perform the action in response to being presented with a content item associated with the category based on the pattern of the action previously performed by the user and information describing one or more recent performances of the action by the user with a content item associated with the category. The predicted likelihood may be included in a content selection process that selects one or more content items for presentation to the user.

The present disclosure provides a method and a system for identifying mobile device according to information feature of applications of the mobile device. In an analysis device, obtaining a first information feature related to a first application and a second information feature related to a second application, wherein the first information feature is corresponding to one of the mobile devices, the second information feature is corresponding to one of the mobile devices. The analysis device compares the degree of similarity between the first information feature and the second information feature, and a comparison result determines whether the corresponding mobile device with the first information feature and the corresponding mobile device with the second information feature are the same mobile device. Thus, the method and the system can identify whether or not certain applications are already installed to the same mobile device.
