Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and apparatuses for upselling customers on mobile device services and hardware. In one embodiment, the method comprises creating a catalog associated with a mobile device; recording data associated with the mobile device and storing the data in the catalog; creating a profile associated with the mobile device based on the catalog; comparing the profile to one or more peer profiles to determine if at least one new item can be offered to a user of the mobile device; identifying one or more new items to offer to the user of the mobile device; and transmitting an offer to the mobile device, the offer including the one or more new items.

In a computer-implemented method for detecting and acting upon driver compliance with driver-specific limitations, it is determined that a driver of a vehicle has one or more limitations specific to a medical condition and/or a physical characteristic of the driver. Telematics data is received and analyzed to identify a plurality of driving behaviors of the driver. Based upon the driving behaviors, a level of compliance with the limitations is determined. Based upon the level of compliance, at least a portion of a driver profile is set. At least the portion of the profile is transmitted to an entity that adjusts a credit rating of the driver, adjusts an insurance rating of the driver, reviews at least the portion of the profile in connection with a job sought by the driver, or offers a permanent or temporary credit in connection with a good or service offered by the entity. As a result, benefits or cost savings may be provided to risk-averse drivers.

There is disclosed in one example a mobile computing apparatus, including: a hardware platform including a processor and a memory; a user display; a global positioning system (GPS) driver; a network interface; and instructions encoded within the memory to instruct the processor to: receive a device location from the GPS driver; via the network interface, query a cloud-based wireless access point (WAP) reputation service for WAP reputation data of nearby WAPs; and drive to the user display an image of nearby WAPs having overlaid thereon WAP reputation data for the nearby WAPs.

A system and method for controlling an autonomous vehicle to affect a view seen by an occupant of the autonomous vehicle is described. In one embodiment, a method for controlling an autonomous vehicle to affect a view seen by an occupant of the autonomous vehicle includes determining a navigation route, determining content associated with the navigation route, monitoring current conditions of the autonomous vehicle and the occupant, determining, based on the current conditions, whether to change a position of the vehicle to affect the view seen by the occupant, and when the current conditions permit, moving the autonomous vehicle to affect the view seen by the occupant.

Disclosed herein are a content provisioning platform (150) and a system (100) that utilizes such a content provisioning platform (150). The webpage (300) is encoded in accordance with a content provisioning application programming interface (API) (140) associated with the content provisioning platform (150), the webpage including a contextual content display region (350) for displaying the selected inventory. The content provisioning API (140) is adapted to deliver the selected content to the contextual content display region (350).

A real estate investment management system is disclosed, comprising a real estate database to store real estate data and transmit the real estate data to a real estate investment system via a real estate server. The Skip Trace system permits the system to scan through a database of properties and property owner information which is transmitted to a litigator database which stores litigator data and transmits the litigator data to the real estate investment system via a litigator server. A comparator compares the real estate data with the litigator data to determine if one or more potential litigators are present in a subset of the real estate data. A parsing engine removes the one or more potential litigators from the subset of the real estate data and a communications module is operable to manually transmit compliant communications from the real estate investment system to a real estate owner.

An information processing device includes a person determination unit and a content selection unit. The person determination unit is configured to determine, based on detection information acquired from a detection unit, an attribute of an approaching person who may have an interest in display content displayed on a display unit installed in association with the detection unit. The content selection unit is configured to refer to related content information indicating related content related to candidate content for each set of the candidate content and an attribute of a person, the candidate content being a candidate of the display content, and to select the related content related to the display content.

According to one embodiment, a network device includes an uplink port, a downlink port, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured for providing a webserver; receiving a request from a mobile device of a user to establish a connection with the downlink port; establishing a first connection between the mobile device and the webserver via the downlink port; determining a media access control (MAC) address of the mobile device; receiving, from a server, user history information associated with the MAC address; and providing targeted information to the mobile device based on the user history information. The processor may be further configured for querying the server using the MAC address to obtain the user history information, collecting new user information and transmitting updated user history information to the server.

Identification of Users or User Groups Based on Personality Profiles The disclosure relates to a method for determining a user or user group. The method comprises obtaining an identification of one or more media items for a user or user group; obtaining a set of media content descriptors for each of the identified one or more media items, the set of media content descriptors comprising features including semantic descriptors for the respective media item, the semantic descriptors comprising at least one emotional descriptor for the respective media item; determining a set of aggregated media content descriptors for the entirety of the identified one or more media items based on the respective media content descriptors of the individual media items; and mapping the set of aggregated media content descriptors to a personality profile of the user or user group, wherein the personality profile comprises a plurality of personality scores for elements of the profile, the personality scores calculated from aggregated features of the set of aggregated media content descriptors; wherein a personality profile is determined for each of a plurality of users or user groups, the method further comprising: comparing the personality profiles of the plurality of users or user groups with a target personality profile and determining at least one user or user group having the best matching personality profile.

A method includes receiving a to-be-filtered web page element sent by a client in a local area network in which the main client is located; sending first query broadcast information including the to-be-filtered web page element to the local area network in which the main client is located; receiving first query feedback information generated by all clients in the local area network based on the first query broadcast information; if the first query feedback information meets a preset condition, determining that the to-be-filtered web page element is an advertisement; and updating an advertisement filtering rule based on the to-be-filtered web page element that is an advertisement.
