An app server receives a device token from a software application on a mobile device. The device token identifies the mobile device for pushing notification messages of the software application to the mobile device via a push notification system. The mobile device is monitored while accessing the Internet in order to detect when the user may benefit from upgraded access to the Internet. The app server then sends one or more notification message(s) to the user such as by sending a message to the device token of the mobile device via the push notification system or to a display device associated with the user at the hospitality establishment. The notification message invites the user to upgrade their Internet access. The push notification system alerts the user to the notification message via the user interface of the mobile device even when the software application is not running on the mobile device.

There are provided systems and methods for a communication device interface for merchant check-in and shopping notifications. A user may enter shopping preferences to a module of a communication device in order to receive notifications and alerts when items matching the shopping preferences are available with one or more merchants. A service provider may receive the shopping preferences with user attributes, such as a user location and/or account balance. The attributes may be determined using applications and/or modules of the communication device or through a check-in by the user at a location. The service provider may determine shopping notifications having purchase offers for the items from available merchants. The purchase offers may include offers to sell the items and discounts for the items. The shopping notifications may be displayed to the user using a user device interface, such as cells within an application or mobile device home screen.

Embodiments herein can determine an optimal route for an autonomous electric vehicle. The system may score viable routes between the start and end locations of a trip using a numeric or other scale that denotes how viable the route is for autonomy. The score is adjusted using a variety of factors where a learning process leverages both offline and online data. The scored routes are not based simply on the shortest distance between the start and end points but determine the best route based on the driving context for the vehicle and the user.

Embodiments herein relate to an autonomous vehicle or self-driving vehicle. The system can determine a collision avoidance path by: 1) predicting the behavior/trajectory of other moving objects (and identifying stationary objects); 2) given the driving trajectory (issued by autonomous driving system) or predicted driving trajectory (human), establishing the probability for a collision that can be calculated between the vehicle and one or more objects; and 3) finding a path to minimize the collision probability.

Disclosed herein are methods and systems for combining, in real time, images of one or more real life objects that have been captured in real time based on a comprehensive characteristic-based mechanism with a virtual environment to provide an augmented reality environment to a user or user device. In particular, the captured images are provided to a remote server that is capable of performing the processing steps to create a plurality of integrated images. The plurality of integrated images can then be provided to the user device. Advantageously, the remote server can create the plurality of integrated images much more quickly due to the server's enhanced computing power and storage space as compared to the user device. The remote server may be an intermediate server between multiple user devices. The comprehensive content matching mechanism is based on a plurality of factors comprising advertisement content, user preference information, and context information.
