System and method for anticipating mobile device user needs using wireless communications devices at an entity location
Systems and methods are provided for anticipating needs of a user through a mobile device of the user. One example method includes receiving, from the mobile device, a location identifier associated with a position within an entity location, the mobile device receiving the location identifier from a wireless transmitter upon entering a predetermined transmission range of the wireless transmitter; starting a first timer upon receiving the location identifier; and initiating a predefined action associated with the position within the entity location upon determining that a time on the first timer exceeds a predetermined threshold.
Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for providing a platform for negotiation and provision of promotions
Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided herein to facilitate negotiation between consumers and merchants for promotions. In one embodiment, a method for generating promotion impressions is provided which includes receiving a consumer request for a promotion, wherein the consumer request comprises one or more indications of consumer preferences for the promotion and determining one or more potential merchants based in part on the consumer request. The method further comprises determining, for each potential merchant, if the potential merchant has pre-established promotion criteria that would meet the consumer request and if the potential merchant has pre-established promotion criteria that would meet the consumer request, storing promotion data for the potential merchant. The method further comprises, if the potential merchant does not have pre-established promotion criteria that would meet the consumer request, providing the consumer request to the potential merchant and, if a response is received from the potential merchant with promotion data, storing promotion data for the potential merchant. The method further comprises generating an impression comprising the promotion data for the one or more potential merchants. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided.

A computer implemented method for filtering information delivered via a social media service. The method includes receiving social media data from the social media service at a social media computing system and analyzing the received social media data. Analyzing the received social media data comprises categorizing content within the received social media data as one or more of restricted content elements and unrestricted content elements. The restricted content elements and the unrestricted content elements are determined based on one or more predetermined parameters associated with a user profile. The method further including transmitting the unrestricted content elements to a user device.

In accordance with one or more aspects, service requesters (e.g., advertisers) and/or affiliates (e.g., providing data traffic) may be set up for operation on a performance exchange. In accordance with other aspects, performance and monitoring may be carried out for such advertisers and/or affiliates. In some embodiments, routing criteria is established for affiliates, and may include information for selecting data traffic resources such as advertisements and network links, to be routed by the affiliates for providing data traffic over disparate networks. Requests for distribution of the data traffic resources (e.g., advertisements, links for obtaining the data traffic) are received and a routing option is selected for the requests based on the routing criteria for affiliates and criteria associated with a service requester from which the request is received. The routing option may specify one or more affiliates via which the data traffic resources are to be routed.

A promotion recommendation system may include a user device associated with a given user, and a promotion recommendation server. The promotion recommendation server may be configured to identify a social media influencer followed by the given user and determine a beverage associated with the social media influencer. The beverage may have ingredients. The promotion recommendation server may also be configured to cooperate with the user device to determine a current geographic location of the given user, generate a recommended beverage having one of the ingredients, and generate a digital promotion for the recommended beverage for redemption at a redemption location based upon the current geographic location of the given user. The promotion recommendation server may also be configured to communicate the digital promotion to the user device.
Method and system for intelligently targeting offers to users of a software application
Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for intelligently presenting targeted offers to a user of a software application. Embodiments include receiving received request from a user of the software application to access a portion of the software application. Using a predictive model, a predictive score is generated for the user. The predictive model generally may be a model trained using user account data reduced into n-tuples of predictive attributes representative of a plurality of users, correlated with clickstream data associated with the plurality of users indicating whether a user interacted with a targeted offer. The predictive score generally represents a likelihood that the user will interact with the targeted offer based on data stored by the software application for the user. The targeted offer is presented to the user based, at least in part, on a determination that the predictive score for the user exceeds a threshold score.
Method and system for recommending promotions to consumers
Embodiments provide computer systems, computer-executable methods and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media for offering one or more promotions to consumers using a promotion and marketing service. User input may be received from a first consumer interface associated with a first consumer, the user input including an interest indication relating to a first promotion. An association between the first consumer and a second consumer for sharing of promotions may be programmatically retrieved or generated. Based on the association, it may be determined whether to offer the first promotion to the second consumer based on one or more characteristics associated with the second consumer. Based on a determination that the first promotion should be offered to the second consumer, an indication may be outputted, the indication configured to cause an impression of the first promotion to be generated on a second consumer interface associated with the second consumer.

A method is disclosed. The method may include receiving an image or video; extracting a plurality of features from the image or video; executing a neural network using the plurality of features to obtain a performance score for the image or video, the neural network comprising an input layer, a plurality of intermediate layers subsequent to the input layer, and a regression layer or a classification layer; extracting values from one or more signals between an intermediate layer and the regression layer or the classification layer; for each of the plurality of features, calculating, based on at least one of the one or more values, an impact score indicating an impact the feature had on the performance score; and generating, based on one or more impact scores for the plurality of features, indications indicating an impact different features of the image or video had on the performance score.

In some examples, machine-learning techniques can be executed to intelligently expand the set of user profiles included in a workflow.
