SELECTIVELY PROVIDING MACHINE LEARNING MODEL-BASED SERVICES
An online concierge system provides arrival prediction services for a user placing an order to be retrieved by a shopper. An order may have a predicted arrival time predicted by a model that may err under some conditions. To reduce the likelihood of providing the predicted arrival time (and related services) when the arrival time may be incorrect, the prediction model and related services are throttled (e.g., selectively provided) based on one or more predicted delivery metrics, which may include a time to accept the order by a shopper and a predicted portion of late orders that will be delivered past the respective predicted arrival times. The predicted delivery metrics are compared with thresholds and the result of the comparison used to selectively provide, or not provide, the predicted delivery services.
OVERRIDING CONTROL OF MOTORIZED TRANSPORT UNIT SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS
Some embodiments include apparatuses providing control over movement of motorized transport units at a retail facility, comprising: multiple self-propelled motorized transport units; a wireless communication network; and a central computer system, wherein the central computer system comprises: a transceiver; a control circuit; and a memory storing computer instructions that when executed cause the control circuit to: receive an override command, from a worker associated with the retail facility, to cause a first motorized transport unit of the multiple motorized transport units to implement one or more actions; confirm a valid authorization of the worker to override one or more operating limits of the first motorized transport unit; and override the one or more operating limits and communicate one or more instructions to the first motorized transport unit configured to cause the first motorized transport unit to implement the one or more actions in accordance with the override command.
Cost sharing platform and system
A Cost Sharing Method and Platform that uses scrapping API technology to collect and project key categories of items available for sale on multiple sites on the internet is disclosed herein. As disclosed, the Cost Sharing Method and Platform (hereinafter System aka Splitcart) allows the user to pay for that item or share the cost of the item with other people. Payments are recorded through the system and with payments processed upon finalization of the Splitcart as defined by the organizer. As configured, the organizer is able to choose how many splitters (contributors) there will be and decide if he/she wants to cover the cost difference if funds are not met and/or convert total funds collected to a gift card. The SplitCart may have social media contacts and or connections enabled to allow for a user to use their social media platform to recruit splitters and recipients to a cost sharing opportunity.
ELECTRONIC MARKETPLACE CURVE PURCHASE TRANSACTION SYSTEM
Various embodiments for a transport dispatch system for marketplace curve purchase transaction system are described herein. An embodiment operates by receiving an indication to buy a desired item from a buyer through an electronic marketplace. An item curve for the desired item and a buyer curve for the buyer are generated. A purchase curve for the desired item is generated based on modifying the buyer curve based on the item curve, the item curve indicating a demand for the item. A display of the purchase curve is provided via a user interface, through which an approval of the purchase curve is received. The desired item is monitored across the electronic marketplace and purchased for the buyer based on the approved purchase curve.
Expandable service architecture with configurable dialogue manager
Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for facilitating user engagement with a bot. One example method includes receiving user input indicative of a user activity. Responsive to the user input, a first server accesses a sequence specification for implementing the user activity. The sequence specification comprises a sequence of interactions with a plurality of service servers. The first server executes the sequence specification by invoking the plurality of service servers to provide services to implement the user activity in accordance with the sequence of interactions specified by the sequence specification.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A KIOSK IN THE MOBILE OS
A system and method include a kiosk processor, a device kiosk on a customer mobile device, which displays via a user interface, content and options for the customer from a third party customer service system, a customer interaction channel that receives, via an associated customer interaction network, a request to access the third party customer service system, an authentication module associated with the kiosk processor that receives customer data and customer input associated with an authentication request to authenticate the customer, identifies a customer mobile device based on device identifiers, and evaluates risk factors associated with the customer mobile device, and a communication interface associated with the kiosk processor, that transmits, via a push notification gateway, a push notification to the device kiosk on the customer mobile device that establishes, via the network, a secure connection between the customer mobile device and the third party customer service system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTO-REPLENISHMENT OF PRODUCTS USING PRESSURE MAPPING SENSORS AND MACHINE LEARNING
Systems and methods for identifying, tracking usage of, and replenishing products on a shelf of a product storage unit include a pressure sensor array positioned on the shelf and configured to detect forces exerted on the pressure sensor array by each of the products located on the shelf. An electronic database stores reference pressure array data representative of a reference pressure data model relative to each of the products. A computing device obtains a pressure data set associated with a product that was captured by the pressure sensor array when the product was positioned on the pressure sensor array, and correlates the pressure data set associated with the product with the reference pressure array data stored in the electronic database to determine an identity of the product and a consumption level of the product, automatically replenishing the product when consumption of the product is above a set threshold.
Order management systems and methods
Example order management systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a catalog ingestion system receives data associated with multiple products offered by multiple brands. A commerce management system receives a customer order from a customer. The customer order includes at least a portion of the multiple products offered by the multiple brands. The commerce management system splits the customer order into multiple brand orders such that each brand order is associated with products in the customer order from a particular brand. An integration platform fulfills the brand orders by submitting the brand orders to the associated brands.
Shopping facility discarded item sorting systems, devices and methods
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided herein for sorting items discarded in a shopping facility. A system for sorting discarded items comprises a motorized transport unit configured to travel around discarded items placed in a sorting area in the shopping facility, the motorized transport unit comprises a sensor device and an item mover device, an item characterization database storing characteristics corresponding to a plurality of items likely to be found in the shopping facility, and a central computer system. The central computer system is configured to receive data from the sensor device on the motorized transport unit, determine an item characteristic of an item among the discarded items in the sorting area, determine a sorting category of the item from a plurality of predefined categories, and cause the motorized transport unit to move the item, with the item mover device, from the sorting area into a category area.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A PRIVATE MARKET: FACILITATING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN BUYERS AND SELLERS OR EXCHANGERS OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES WHILE MAINTAINING PRIVACY
A system and method are described that facilitate bilateral private interaction between participants who wish to initiate personal or business arrangements anonymously or without exposure except to identified trusted parties and the system and method act as an intermediary allowing the participants, typically buyers and sellers, to be matched based upon requests for and offers of goods and services, without revealing the identity or other identifying information about either the items or the participants until the participants choose to reveal that information.
