Methods and apparatuses are provided for use in monitoring product placement within a shopping facility. Some embodiments provide an apparatus configured to determine product placement conditions within a shopping facility, comprising: a transceiver configured to wirelessly receive communications; a product monitoring control circuit coupled with the transceiver; a memory coupled with the control circuit and storing computer instructions that when executed by the control circuit cause the control circuit to: obtain a composite three-dimensional (3D) scan mapping corresponding to at least a select area of the shopping facility and based on a series of 3D scan data; evaluate the 3D scan mapping to identify multiple product depth distances; and identify, from the evaluation of the 3D scan mapping, when one or more of the multiple product depth distances is greater than a predefined depth distance threshold from the reference offset distance of the product support structure.

An information processing system includes a memory, communication circuitry and processing circuitry. The memory stores restaurant information containing menu item information for a plurality of menu items at each of a plurality of restaurants. The communication circuitry receives a restaurant search request including a menu item name from a user terminal. The processing circuitry generates a list of the restaurants determined to include at least one menu item corresponding to the menu item name based on the restaurant information, and controls the communication circuitry to transmit a search result page to the user terminal for display. The search result page contains one or more of the at least one menu item corresponding to the menu item name at each of the restaurants in the list of the restaurants.

A second information node is recorded in the data store covering the verifiable physical goods, wherein the second information node is made by a guarantor in communication with the central service layer. An identifier of the second information node is associated with the first information node over the central service layer. Market information regarding the production share is translated from the first information node and the second information node accessed from the data store using the identifier and integrating the market information regarding the production share into adjusted market information, and the market information regarding the production share and the adjusted market information is transmitted to devices connected over the central service layer.

A computer-implemented method is provided for authorizing utilization of a mobility service by a user. The method includes establishing a mobility database with an arbiter, wherein the database is associated with the user and includes biographic data, payment data and identification data, and wherein the identification data represents a legal form of identification issued to the user and the payment data represents a form of payment; validating the form of payment and the legal form of identification; requesting, by the user, utilization of the mobility service from a mobility operator; authenticating, by the user, to the mobility operator; requesting authorization to use the mobility service; and providing an authorization if: (a) the payment data represents sufficient funds to pay for the mobility service, and (b) the identification data represents a legal form of identification required for the mobility service.

Example embodiments provide a system that uses a conversational agent to collect information and publish the information on a network. A computer-implemented conversational agent establishes a communication session with a user and receives conversational information via a simulated conversation between the user and the computer-implemented conversational agent via the communication session, whereby the conversational information comprises information to be published. The computer-implemented conversational agent also receives, via a graphical user interface, an upload of an image that is associated with the information to be published. The computer-implemented conversational agent then causes publication of the information to be published and the uploaded image.

A method for enabling a user to view information filtered to align with the user's life state includes enabling the user to register and become a member of an information delivery system. The user provides the information about the user's life state. This information may include at least demographic information, ethnic information, social information and psychological information. The user may grant partners permission to access the information about the user's life. The granting of the permissions is performed and controlled by the user and may be limited to some information about the user's life. The partners are also members of the information delivery system. The partners are evaluated using a set of criteria before they become members of the information delivery system. The partners may use the information about the user's life to filter its information according to the information about the user's life. The method also enables the partner to participate in a marketplace to procure the information about the user's life, to rate the user according to the user's behavior, and to enable search engines to filter search results according to the information about the user's life.

Systems and methods are disclosed to provide flaw accentuation to an image in an e-commerce online marketplace. In some embodiments, a method may include receiving at an online marketplace, from a seller through the Internet, an image of an item being listed for sale at the online marketplace and text related to the item being listed for sale; determining that the item includes a flaw based on the text related to the item being listed for sale or the image of the item; creating a flaw accentuation to the image; and creating a listing in the online marketplace for the item that includes the image and the flaw accentuation to the image.

A system for providing heating ventilation and cooling (HVAC) services includes a central server having an HVAC services module. The central server is communicatively coupled to at least one database, a credit system, a payment processing system, and an installation and maintenance scheduling system. The central server includes instructions configured to cause the central server to receive a residence identifier from a user portal, determine an estimated HVAC load of a building corresponding to the residence identifier, provide a user with a cost estimate based on the estimated HVAC load, and process a payment received from the user wherein the payment is based on the cost estimate.
