An online concierge system uses a domain-adaptive suggestion module to score products that may be presented to a user as suggestions in response to a user's search query. The domain-adaptive suggestion module receives data that is relevant to scoring products as suggestions in response to a search query. The domain-adaptive suggestion module uses one or more domain-neutral representation models to generate a domain-neutral representation of the received data. The domain-neutral representation is a featurized representation of the received data that can be used by machine-learning models in the search domain or the suggestion domain. The domain-adaptive suggestion module then scores products by applying one or more machine-learning models to domain-neutral representations generated based on those products. By using domain-neutral representations, the domain-adaptive suggestion module can be trained based on training examples from a similar prediction task in a different domain.

An information processing apparatus includes a controller. The controller acquires holding information on a music class to be held in a vehicle and provision information on a provider who provides a music supply to be used in the music class. The controller executes matching between the music class and the provider based on the holding information and the provision information that are acquired, and determines procurement information to be notified to the provider, according to a result of the matching.

In some embodiments, there is provided a system for providing seamless redelivery of missing data including a requesting client computer generating a first data request in response to a user's e-commerce activity over an internet; a message broker comprising one or more first control circuits; a backup control circuit configured to copy a plurality of messages as a plurality of object data into an object store; and a reconciliation control circuit configured to: receive a second data request in response to a determination by the requesting client computer that a data loss has occurred; download the missing data from the object store; and provide the missing data to the message broker.

One example method may comprise receiving a job request, the job request comprising job request parameters, the job request parameters comprising at least a type of service, a location, and a time frame, identifying one or more merchants able to provide the service in accordance with the job request parameters by determining a subset of the plurality of merchants able to provide the service, at the location, within the time frame, causing transmission of a job offer to at least a first merchant of the subset of one or more merchants identified as able to provide the service in accordance with the job request parameters, receiving at least one response, the at least one response from the first merchant from the one or more merchants, and assigning the job to the first merchant.

The present invention is directed towards systems and methods for matching buyers to dealers of the same type of vehicle. Buyer bids are ranked based on receipt time. Buyers specify a search radius corresponding to dealers. Dealer offers correspond to an acceptable amount for the vehicle. A high price is computed for each vehicle from dealers relative to buyers based on dealer offers and MSRP. A final price is computed for each vehicle based on dealer offers, the search radius, and the high price. Final prices are ranked based on the distance from buyer to dealer and the buyer bid dealer offer difference. The match is based on the highest rank final price for the corresponding dealer to an earliest received buyer bid that has not been matched if the vehicle offered by the corresponding dealer is available.

A multi-lender architecture is configured to provide a loan applicant with automated pre-qualification and automobile loan eligibility evaluation for multiple candidate lenders. Lender output data may include sensitive data. The lender output data is stored in a data object of a first format and one or more fields of the data object are encrypted at the field level. The encrypted data object may be transmitted through multiple application layers or terminals. The encrypted data object may be reformatted at one or more application layers or terminals without decryption. A reformatted encrypted data object containing the lender output data may be decrypted at the last layer before forwarding the lender output data to the loan applicant.

A vending system allows customers to interact with a vendor using their mobile device, without having any prior relationship with the vendor and without the vendor installing any custom payment hardware. With the ubiquitous nature of mobile devices, such as cell phones, and the access of nearly all vendors to the Internet, each party already has everything it needs to establish a payment relationship without custom hardware at the vendor. Customers also have no reason to wait for an employee to allow paying a bill, such as at a bar or restaurant, when the customer is ready to leave. The system can also be used for ordering without waiting for an employee of the vendor to take an order. Thus, the vending system allows vendors and customers to interact with much less friction, providing a faster and more pleasing experience for the customer without any downsides for the vendor.
