A method, system and computer program product for adjusting prices for goods and services offered using a computer network. In one embodiment, data relating to goods and services offered over the computer network by a number of entities using the computer network are stored in a database, communications are monitored, using the computer network, to identify an interest of a user, and this interest of the user and the data in the database are used to identify one of the entities to offer a specified product or service to the user. Information is obtained relating to a price for the specified product or service, and this information and the data in the database are used to determine an adjusted price for the specified product or service. In one embodiment, the information the user has about a price for the specified product or service is used to determine the adjusted price.

An online marketplace system generates an online marketplace for seller-financed transactions. The system includes a plurality of listings of transaction offerings that are available. The transaction offerings are listed by a plurality of users and are from a plurality of different categories of products and services. The transaction offerings include a plurality of transaction terms, including payment and seller-financing terms. A transaction engine facilitates the negotiation of transaction terms between users and the formation of agreement between users. Transaction coins are awarded during the successful performance of a transaction according to the agreed upon transaction terms. A reputation engine generates trust profiles and trust scores for users. The trust profiles and trust scores are used by parties to evaluate the trustworthiness of the other party. A user interface engine generates a user interface that includes listings from users and trust scores of those users.

There is provided an information processing method and the like capable of using an electronic commerce platform by work that is simpler than before. When finding a desired commodity at a member shop, a user performs smartphone settlement using a user terminal 120 to purchase the commodity. A settlement terminal 130 generates purchase information, being triggered by the smartphone settlement and transmits it to a mediation server 110. When receiving, from the user terminal 120, a notification to the effect that a user wants to list the commodity purchased at the member shop on an electronic commerce platform (application for sale), the mediation server 110 automatically generates listed commodity information based on the purchase information and transmits it to the user terminal 120.

Orders are placed by buyers to be executed and delivered by suppliers. An efficient electronic procurement network uses a mathematical optimization algorithm to minimize order costs while adhering to buyer requirements, optimization parameters, and supplier constraints. Suppliers input updated product information, as well as various constraints relating to the products, into the electronic marketplace to be used by the optimization algorithm. In some embodiments, multiple transaction options are provided to the buyer, with the multiple options determined by relaxing one or more of the buyer requirements and optimization parameters in the optimization algorithm.

A sales management server system operating in an edge server communicably connected to one or more edge devices is communicably connected to a terminal of an intermediary dealer that relays sales of applications and a terminal of an end user who uses the edge device and the edge server via a communication unit. A control unit includes: an ordering processing unit that notifies the terminal of a serial number corresponding to an application on the basis of an application purchase request from the terminal of the intermediary dealer; and a distribution processing unit that distributes an application corresponding to a serial number to the edge server in response to receiving the serial number transmitted from the terminal of the end user.

Disclosed is a system and method for fulfilling orders for multiple entities located on websites with distinct entity checkout systems with a single user input. The process for fulfilling orders for two entities includes receiving a first indication to purchase a first entity and a second indication to purchase a second entity, where the first entity is associated with a first retailer and the second entity is associated with a second retailer. The method also includes extracting information associated with the first and second entities from the respective web pages where the entities are available for purchase, and receiving a user input to initiate order fulfillment. The method further includes checking the availability of the entities at their respective retailers and providing alternate entities and/or retailers, if applicable. The method is completed by deploying fulfillment agents and purchase agents for completing the transactions.

A computer-implemented method is provided for authorizing utilization of a mobility service by a user. The method includes establishing a mobility database with an arbiter, wherein the database is associated with the user and includes biographic data, payment data and identification data, and wherein the identification data represents a legal form of identification issued to the user, and the payment data represents a form of payment; validating the form of payment and the legal form of identification; requesting, by the user, utilization of the mobility service from a mobility operator; authenticating, by the user, to the mobility operator; requesting authorization to use the mobility service; and providing an authorization if: (a) the payment data represents sufficient funds to pay for the mobility service, and (b) the identification data represents a legal form of identification required for the mobility service.
