Online marketplace with seller financing
An online marketplace system generates an online marketplace for seller-financed transactions. The system includes a plurality of listings of transaction offerings that are available. The transaction offerings are listed by a plurality of users and are from a plurality of different categories of products and services. The transaction offerings include a plurality of transaction terms, including payment and seller-financing terms. A transaction engine facilitates the negotiation of transaction terms between users and the formation of agreement between users. Transaction coins are awarded during the successful performance of a transaction according to the agreed upon transaction terms. A reputation engine generates trust profiles and trust scores for users. The trust profiles and trust scores are used by parties to evaluate the trustworthiness of the other party. A user interface engine generates a user interface that includes listings from users and trust scores of those users.
Causing a disappearance of a user profile in a location-based virtual social network
A hosted virtual social network includes a plurality of users that each have a digital profile. The users are each within a predetermined distance of a venue. The users communicate with other users of the virtual social network via their respective mobile computing devices. The users include a first user and a second user. From a mobile computing device of the first user, a request is received to make a digital profile of the first user appear invisible on a mobile computing device of the second user. In response to this request the digital profile of the first user is hidden from the mobile computing device of the second user. The hiding is performed without notifying the second user and without affecting a display of the digital profile of the first user on mobile computing devices of remaining users of the plurality of users of the virtual social network.
COMMUNITY PURCHASING MODEL
A community purchase model for increasing transparency and information symmetry to marketplaces is provided. The community purchase model provides a method for creating and publishing user-buyers' intentions to enter into a deal which other user-buyers can associate with, for setting the terms of the deal, for marketing the deal through their online social networks, and for user-sellers to commit to. Only if the intention is sufficiently fulfilled by a commitment of a user-seller does money change hands, thereby providing a transparent demand curve for predicting reasonable volume sales for the user-seller, while generating a highly personalized deal for the user-buyer and creating new equilibrium prices based on more symmetrical information.
System and Method for Evaluating Neurological Conditions
In described embodiments, a device and method for diagnosing brain and neurological issues is provided. The device measures the performance of Convergence, Divergence, and binocular tracking capabilities of a subject's eyes, which can be used to determine whether a subject has experienced a brain or other neurological event.
Dynamic presentation of location-specific information
Improved approaches to allow a portable electronic device to dynamically present location-specific information while the portable electronic device is at a predetermined location are disclosed. In one embodiment, the portable electronic device has a display that can display the location-specific information and has wireless capabilities for use in receiving the location-specific information from the server. The location-specific information can, for example, augment other information that is to be presented on the display. In one embodiment, the location-specific information can be information pertaining to a media item being played in an establishment, such as a store, where the portable electronic device is located.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR RESTORING SHOPPING SPACE CONDITIONS
Systems, apparatuses, and methods for restoring shopping space conditions are provided. A system for restoring shopping space conditions comprises a motorized transport unit comprising at least one sensor, and a central computer system comprising a wireless transceiver for communicating with the motorized transport unit. The central computer system being configured to: identify a section of a shopping space having a dropped item, instruct the motorized transport unit to travel to the section of the shopping space and collect information associated with the dropped item using the at least one sensor, determine a characteristic of the dropped item in the section of the shopping space using the at least one sensor of the motorized transport unit, and select a cleaning task from a plurality of cleaning tasks based on the characteristic of the dropped item.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING ITEM AVAILABILITY IN A SHOPPING SPACE
Systems, apparatuses, and methods for determining item availability are provided. A computer implemented method for determining item availability in a shopping space comprising: receiving a request for an item for purchase from a customer, querying an inventory database to determine whether the item for purchase is in stock, in an event that the item for purchase is not in stock according to the inventory database: determining an out of stock response to present to the customer, in an event that the item for purchase is in stock according the inventory database: instructing a motorized transport unit to travel to a display space in the shopping space corresponding to the item for the purchase, determining whether the item is available in the display space based on information captured by one or more sensors of the motorized transport unit, and in an event that the item for purchase is not available in the display space: determining an item unavailable response to present to the customer.
Voice-enabled recipe selection
A system including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions that, when executed configured to run on the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to and perform operations: receiving a command from a user; transforming, using a trained machined learning model, the command by detecting an intent to add one or more recipe ingredients; determining a recipe from a set of recipes; determining one or more items and one or more quantities or sizes of the one or more items; selecting a respective quantity or size from quantities or sizes of available items of the one or more items, wherein the respective quantity or size, as selected, is overruled when a different quantity or size preference is indicated by the user; and automatically adding to the shopping cart the one or more items. Other embodiments are described.
USER-ENABLED MOBILE SCHEDULING DIRECT TIME APPLICATION
A system and process within a mobile device and/or social media application of coordinating, scheduling and booking people to connect and have live face to face streaming meet-and-greets through the application. A network connected server maintains a database and information to Facilitate the buying and selling of direct air time between specific users within the application. Wherein Users can go on and offer time available for a live meet-and-greet and other users can then go on and book and schedule time from the said time available. The application can also be used to schedule and pay for the meet-and-greet time, facilitating live meet-and-greets via the application.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR SIMPLIFYING ORDERING FROM ONLINE SHOPS
Embodiments described herein simplify ordering of products from online shops. This may involve an agent server receiving captured contents of a product webpage from a client device and autonomously deriving product information therefrom. Alternatively, the agent service can receive a web address corresponding to a product webpage, and the agent server can visit the product webpage and capture its contents. The agent server then uses the derived product information to autonomously control ordering of the product for the user from an online shop, without requiring that the user have an account with the online shop, without requiring that the user enter personal and payment information in a check-out webpage of the online shop, without requiring that the user select a buy or shopping cart button associated with the online shop, and without requiring the online shop utilize an API to enable the agent server to interact with the online shop.
