METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR IMPROVING SEARCH RETRIEVAL
The disclosed subject matter relates to a system and method for providing an extended search. The system generates a list of synonym groups based on previous engagements linking queries and products. With receipt of a user query, the system accesses synonyms to the search terms and incorporates them into the query of the product catalog in order to obtain a complete set of results. The creation of the synonym groups uses various approaches including sequence tagging and graph embedding to identify synonyms in the query and the item titles.
ADAPTIVE COLLABORATIVE MATCHING
An adaptive collaborative platform applies various machine learning techniques to correlate potential purchasers with high-value articles of property that may be of interest. Attributes, characteristics, preferences, and the like of a potential purchaser are scored against attributes and features of articles. The platform learns from interaction by the agents and the potential purchasers and adapts to become more attuned to the desires and lifestyle of purchasers and to gain more and more pertinent information from the listing agents regarding high-value articles, so as to ultimately to arrive at a better match between a high value article for sale and a likely purchaser.
Compression of Lookup Data Communicated by Nodes in an Electronic Device
An electronic device includes multiple nodes. Each node generates compressed lookup data to be used for processing instances of input data through a model using input index vectors from a compressed set of input index vectors for each part among multiple parts of a respective set of input index vectors. Each node then communicates compressed lookup data for a respective part to each other node.
Shopping list and cart integration
Techniques described herein include systems and methods for utilizing a shopping list generated by a user in one or more shopping list features. A list of items including keywords not associated with specific items may be received. A user interface may be updated to present the list of items, with a first area of the user interface corresponding to uncompleted tasks associated with a keyword of the list, and a second area corresponding to completed tasks associated with a keyword of the list. One or more sensors may receive information about an item. Input about an interaction with the user interface and a keyword of the list may be received. The user interface may be updated to move the keyword of the list from the first area to the second area. A mapping of the keyword to the item may be updated by a computer system.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRESENTING INFORMATION
Proposed are a method and an apparatus for presenting information. The method includes: detecting an off-line user behavior, and acquiring user behavior data; if the user behavior data satisfies a pre-set condition, acquiring on-line resource information according to the user behavior data; and presenting the on-line resource information.
Systems and methods for providing simultaneous shopping carts
Purchase history data is used to automatically create links within a data repository between product sold via an electronic vendor system and a plurality of shopping carts. When a customer performs a search for product, the vendor system queries the data repository to retrieve the plurality of shopping carts that have been linked to the product that is associated within the data repository to the search request. A plurality of customer interface elements, each corresponding to a one of the plurality of shopping carts, is then presented as a result to the search query. A selection of a one of the customer interface elements causes the vendor system to add one or more of the product to the corresponding one of the plurality of shopping carts.
Verified-Party Content
Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for uploading, by a verified party, verified-party content to a media platform, receiving requests by a client device for store content, and displaying the uploaded verified-party content along with store content on the client device.
Recursive method and system for accessing classification information
A web based method and system that allows the users such as buyers and sellers to locate, purchase, and sell goods, items and services through instant notification. A method and system can include the steps of requesting at least one of an unlisted product, unlisted item and unlisted service from the online web based system. Next the online web based system can provide for matching the at least one of the unlisted product, unlisted item and the unlisted service when the at least one of the unlisted product, unlisted item and the unlisted service is listed with the online web based system. Next the method and system can provide for notifying by generating an instant notification from the online web based system to a portable wireless device, when at least one of the unlisted product, the unlisted item and the unlisted service, has been matched with the at least one of the unlisted product, unlisted item and the unlisted service on the online web based system. The user can use a portable wireless device such as a laptop computer, a PDA (personal digital assistant) device, a cell phone, and a pager. The instant notification can be generated to the portable wireless device through at least one of an e-mail, a text message a voice message, an image message and a page.
Method and System Enabling Crowdsourced Peer to Peer Product Rental
A system and method for online peer-to-peer rental of things using crowdsourcing and selected groups of potential lenders. Individuals desiring to borrow a particular thing may search a listing of things offered for rental by lenders that have chosen to list for rental some of the things that they own. If a thing desired by one wishing to rent is not available among the things currently listed for rental, the borrower may request that potential lenders be contacted. Potential lenders may be identified using a collection of personal information for a population of consumers based on consumer purchase history information and consumer rental history information collected by the entity operating the peer-to-peer rental system.
System and method for synchronized web scraping
A method includes obtaining information associated with a product, service, or event. The method also includes scraping data based on the obtained information substantially concurrently from two or more web pages associated with websites that list a same product, service, or event to produce scraped data for the same product, service, or event from each corresponding web page at substantially a same time.
