Conversational mapping of web items for mediated group decisions
A method and apparatus for conversational mapping of web items for mediated group decisions is disclosed. In one embodiment of the method, a web server delivers a web page that comprises a hyperlink and identities of one or more products that were selected at an E-commerce website by an online shopper via a web browser. In response to activation of the hyperlink by the online shopper via the web browser, product information for the one or more products is transferred in a transaction message to a decision-support system via a network. The decision-support system sends some or all of the product information to one or more user devices. The decision-support system subsequently receives review information related to the one or more products from the one or more user devices via a messaging service. The decision-support system processes the product review information to generate a result, and the decision-support system sends the result to another user device for display thereon via the messaging service.
Knowledge Sharing Platform
Disclosed is a non-transitory computer readable medium storing a computer program. The computer program performs operations for analyzing a video when the computer program is executed by one or more processors of a computing device and the operations may include: separating contents into one or more subcontents by analyzing the contents; matching and storing additional information with the subcontents; receiving search information from a user terminal; and sending at least one of the contents, the subcontents or the matched additional information corresponding to the search information to the user terminal.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECEIVING DATA AT A MERCHANT DEVICE FROM A USER DEVICE OVER A WIRELESS LINK
A system and method for providing payments is disclosed. A method can include establishing a wireless link between a mobile device and a merchant device. After an instruction is displayed on the mobile device, a combination of a first type of input and a second type of input are received on the mobile device, first type of input including at least one button press of a physical button and the second type of input received from a user to confirm a payment for the purchase. Based on the inputs, payment data is retrieved from a memory of the mobile device. The method includes receiving the payment data at the merchant device to make the purchase, wherein receiving the payment data, via the wireless link, at the merchant device to make the purchase is performed according to a protocol for communicating the payment data to the merchant device.
ADAPTIVE COLLABORATIVE MATCHING
An adaptive collaborative platform applies various machine learning techniques to correlate potential purchasers with high-value articles of property that may be of interest. Attributes, characteristics, preferences, and the like of a potential purchaser are scored against attributes and features of articles. The platform learns from interaction by the agents and the potential purchasers and adapts to become more attuned to the desires and lifestyle of purchasers and to gain more and more pertinent information from the listing agents regarding high-value articles, so as to ultimately to arrive at a better match between a high value article for sale and a likely purchaser.
Extracting structured data from video
A web-based item listing platform provides item listings that users can create or search. Item listings can be generated using structured information extracted while capturing an item listing video of the item. During creation of the item listing video, input prompts are provided to the user that cause a mobile device to provide an input request, such as taking an image of a specific feature of the item or providing some other item description information. During the item listing video, image recognition models may also be employed to determine other item description information, such as the color, the brand, and the like. The item listing can be generated from the item listing video by populating a set of structured data elements associated with an item description type. Each structured data element is populated with the item description information corresponding to the associated item description type.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING AN IMPROVED IN-STORE EXPERIENCE
Systems and methods for facilitating an improved in-store experience are provided. A server stores a virtual queue. A selection of a first product in a plurality of products is received. The selection is based on an evaluation of an image, which places the first product in a bin of one or more products. A first request to purchase the one or more products is received including an inspection requirement. A second request for placement in a virtual queue is communicated including a first corresponding location identifier associated with a physical address of the one or more products, a corresponding stock unit identifier for each product in the one or more products, and a transaction identifier. The corresponding client identifier is assigned in a record of indexed positions. The inspection is facilitated. An authorization of the first request to purchase the one or more products is provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CUSTOMIZED SEARCH RESULTS BASED ON PAST BEHAVIOUR
Systems and methods of presenting search results, in response to a general search query, are provided in a manner intended to improve the efficiency of a user that uses general search queries A given user may be interested in results of a specific type, and may consistently interact with the system in a similar manner following conducting a given search. The system tracks requests from a user following a presentation of search results in response to a general search query. This is stored as tracking information. The tracking information is processed to identify patterns in user behaviour, and search results for further search queries are then presented in a manner that takes into account the tracking information. In a specific embodiment, this is applied in an e-commerce context. The tracking information may be stored in association with commerce object types such as products, orders, returns, customers.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCED PERSONAL PROPERTY REPLACEMENT
A system for enhanced personal property replacement (i) builds a virtual inventory of personal belongings, such as by performing object recognition techniques on mobile device digital images with the customer’s permission or affirmative consent; (ii) receives user preferences transmitted from their mobile device; (iii) receives a request from the user to handle an insurance claim after an insurance-related event; (iv) determines items to purchase for the user based upon the user preferences, and/or the extent of damage; and/or (v) transmits, to a retailer remote server a virtual order for the items to be delivered to the user at a temporary (hotel) or permanent (home) address. Insurance claim monies may be used to pay for the items. As a result, after an event (e.g., fire, tornado, hurricane), household or other goods may be automatically purchased and delivered to a customer to alleviate the negative impact of the event on their life.
Method, system, and non-transitory computer-readable medium for aggregating, accessing, and transacting a plurality of business applications
A system and method for aggregating, accessing and transacting a plurality of business application has been described. The system is a conglomeration of the plurality of business applications which provide point solutions to everyday problems of small and medium businesses. The system allows the business application owners to register their business application on the platform. Further the system enables business owners to browse, view details, avail demos and purchase subscriptions to the business applications on the platform. The system further enables business application owners to provide a sales and access point to a wider business customer audience through a one stop shop for the plurality of business applications.
Adaptive scheduling to facilitate optimized distribution of subscribed items
Various embodiments relate generally to data science and data analysis, computer software and systems, and control systems to provide an interface, and, more specifically, to a computing and data storage platform that implements specialized logic to facilitate adaptive scheduling automatically to optimally distribute items, such as shipping an item in accordance with an adapted frequency for a subscription. In some examples, a method may include identifying item characteristics associated with an item, determining a frequency based on at least an item characteristic in association with a subset of subscriber accounts, generating data representing a frequency and a subset of the item characteristics to integrate with a web page generated for a merchant computing system, and transmitting the formatted data to a user interface to display a display portion based on the formatted data as an integrated portion of an integrated web page including the web page.
