Systems and methods including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory storage devices storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processors and perform: for each respective record in a plurality of records, assigning the respective record: (1) to a first database cluster on a first database server; or (2) to a second database cluster on a second database server; receiving a search request from a requester; executing the search request in the first database cluster to retrieve a first set of results; when the first set of results is greater than a threshold number of results, presenting the first set of results to the requester; and when the first set of results is less than the minimum number of results: executing the search request in the second database cluster to create a second set of results; and presenting the second set of results to the requester, wherein: the threshold number of results is configured such that a probability that the first set of results is greater than the minimum number of results is at least fifty percent. A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for enhancing and personalizing an interactive marketplace. The method may include receiving one or more images depicting one or more products owned by a user and identifying the one or more products based on a comparison of the one or more images to a product database. The method may further include determining a market value for each of the one or more products. In response to determining the market value of at least one product exceeds a predefined threshold value, an alert is transmitted to a computing device of the user.

Various aspects and embodiments are directed to image based viewing and/or ordering food items. According to some embodiments, an ordering system for managing image based menus includes a suite of data management applications for providers and/or deliverers (e.g., businesses in the restaurant or food and beverage industry, delivery service providers, etc.). These providers can subscribe to the system in order to access the functionality provided by image based displays including ordering and reservation capabilities provided. In some embodiments, the suite of data management applications can be configured to enable subscribers to access database-driven, market-specific product information, and use that information, for example, to tailor displays on online food and beverage ordering/viewing systems. Further each participant can specify the terms/restrictions associated with their participation and the system can optimize viewing of food and beverage items, reservations, and deliveries and manage pricing and payment of any order accordingly.

Systems and methods are disclosed for enhancing user queries. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving user data from a plurality of users in respective user sessions where the user data for each user includes at least one manufacturer-identified term for a product and at least one user term for the product, associating the user term for the product and the manufacturer-identified term for the product in response to receiving the user term and the manufacturer-identified term within a user session from a threshold number of users, and returning search results based on the associated manufacturer-identified term in response to receiving a search query that includes the user term.

Systems and methods generate browse node pages. A combination of a category and one or more aspects is identified by analyzing historical user behavior data associated with a network-based system. A determination is made regarding whether existing browse node pages for the network-based system includes a browse node page for the identified combination. Each browse node page for the network-based system is accessible by a respective uniform resource location (URL) and provides a grouping of items in a respective category with one or more respective aspects. Based on a determination that a browse node page does not exist for the identified combination of the category and the one or more aspects, a browse node page for the identified combination is generated. The generated browse node page corresponds with a URL and provides items matching the identified combination of the category and the one or more aspects.

An information processing system includes a memory, communication circuitry and processing circuitry. The memory stores restaurant information containing menu item information for a plurality of menu items at each of a plurality of restaurants. The communication circuitry receives a restaurant search request including a menu item name from a user terminal. The processing circuitry generates a list of the restaurants determined to include at least one menu item corresponding to the menu item name based on the restaurant information, and controls the communication circuitry to transmit a search result page to the user terminal for display. The search result page contains one or more of the at least one menu item corresponding to the menu item name at each of the restaurants in the list of the restaurants.

A system and method for dynamically displaying a digital representation of one or more recommended print products on a user interface of a computing device is provided. The method comprises providing a digital representation of each of a plurality of print products stored in a computer memory, wherein the plurality of print products are categorized into at least one of a plurality of print product groups that include a first print product group; identifying a geographic location or a time of year; selecting the first print product group using the processor of the computing device, wherein the first print product group is selected based on the identified geographic location or time of year; and displaying the digital representations corresponding to at least one of the plurality of print products included within the first print product group on the user interface. Techniques described in this application are direct to facilitating curation of dish items. For example, a plurality of dish items (e.g., entre, appetizer, chicken dish, rice, drinks, etc.) may be received by a plurality of merchants that offer dish items for ordering in a network communication environment. The system can parse and analyze dish information to identify positive or negative indicators with respect to a plurality of ingredient-based lenses (e.g., only show dish items that are vegetarian, gluten-free, or spicy, or only show items based on a historical user preference, etc.). When a user selects a particular ingredient-based lens, the system can determine a subset of available dish items from the plurality of merchants by removing dish items from all available dish items. The resulting dish items that correspond with the selected ingredient-based lens can be provided to a graphical user interface (GUI) at a user device of the user.

In some embodiments, an entity requesting results to a search query may be redirected to an alternative network page associated with the particular item instead of a search results page according the expectation of repeated behavior.
