Voice commerce
In certain implementations, a system for facilitating voice commerce is provided. A user input comprising a natural language utterance related to a product or service to be purchased may be received. A first product or service that is to be purchased may be determined based on the utterance. First payment information that is to be used to purchase the first product or service may be obtained. First shipping information that is to be used to deliver the first product or service may be obtained. A purchase transaction for the first product or service may completed based on the first payment information and the first shipping information without further user input, after the receipt of utterance, that identifies a product or service type or a product or service, seller information, payment information, shipping information, or other information related to purchasing the first product or service.
Systems and methods for determining dynamic price ranges
This disclosure provides systems and methods of determining price quantiles for associated search queries and displaying said price quantiles when one or more search queries are received. In various embodiments, a search query for an item offered for sale may be received. Search results from a plurality of offered items may be determined based on the search query. The search results may each be associated with a price. The search results may be displayed, and a selection of a search result may be received. The price of the selected search result may be associated with the received search query. Various price quantiles may be determined based on the associated price(s). In addition, the price quantiles may each include prices associated with the search results. The determined price quantiles may then be displayed in response to a second search query determined to be related to the first search query.
Techniques for configurable part generation
Certain example embodiments relate to techniques generating a database of virtual families for real-time generation of part numbers for configurable products. For instance, certain example embodiments may include receiving a search request for part numbers and determining virtual families including entities matching the search request. The number of matching products matching the search request and the part numbers may be determined based on the virtual families and the independent groups stored in the virtual families that match the search request. The part numbers may be determined based on allowed characters, number and/or symbols for the part number positions defined in the independent groups of the virtual families including the entities matching the one or more configurable properties of the user input search request. Facet counts for the configurable product may also be determined based on the results of the user input search request.
INTELLIGENT ONLINE PERSONAL ASSISTANT WITH MULTI-TURN DIALOG BASED ON VISUAL SEARCH
Systems, methods, and computer program products for identifying a relevant candidate product in an electronic marketplace. Embodiments perform a visual similarity comparison between candidate product image visual content and input query image visual content, process formal and informal natural language user inputs, and coordinate aggregated past user interactions with the marketplace stored in a knowledge graph. Visually similar items and their corresponding product categories, aspects, and aspect values can determine suggested candidate products without discernible delay during a multi-turn user dialog. The user can then refine the search for the most relevant items available for purchase by providing responses to machine-generated prompts that are based on the initial search results from visual, voice, and/or text inputs. An intelligent online personal assistant can thus guide a user to the most relevant candidate product more efficiently than existing search tools.
Intelligent online personal assistant with image text localization
Systems, methods, and computer program products for identifying a candidate product in an electronic marketplace based on a visual comparison between candidate product image visual text content and input query image visual text content. Unlike conventional optical character recognition (OCR) based systems, embodiments automatically localize and isolate portions of a candidate product image and an input query image that each contain visual text content, and calculate a visual similarity measure between the respective portions. A trained neural network may be re-trained to more effectively find visual text content by using the localized and isolated visual text content portions as additional ground truths. The visual similarity measure serves as a visual search result score for the candidate product. Any number of images of any number of candidate products may be compared to an input query image to enable text-in-image based product searching without resorting to conventional OCR techniques.
Method for simultaneously one-step filling a virtual shopping cart with many items from one or multiple resources; all items of any type or characteristics from potential resources which have been embodied into a customized list which has been simultaneously generated and sourced in one-step then presented visually to user to select items; culminating and resulting acquisition to be simultaneosly placed in a single virtual shpping cart and all are acquired simultaneously from many source
A method for Simultaneously in one-step filling a Virtual Shopping Cart with many items from one or multiple resources at one time; all items of any type from all potential resources are embodied into a Customized List of All Items, which has been Simultaneously generated and sourced from all potential resources in one-step and then presented visually to the User in a unique format from which the User selects specific designated, approved and desired items, with distinction to the source, type or characteristics of those items; resulting in a Simultaneous one-step of moving all of the selected items into a single Virtual or Online Shopping Cart for purchase or acquisition; ordered and/or ordered and paid for then allocated for acquisition and fulfillment of all items Simultaneously from as many sources as necessary.
Identifying missing browse nodes
To improve the user experience, browse nodes for popular combinations of categories and aspects are desirable. When a particular combination of category and aspects is found to have been requested at a frequency that exceeds a threshold, the existence of a browse node for that combination is checked and, if the browse node is missing, a request to create the browse node is generated. In some example embodiments, an entire set of missing browse nodes is generated based on recognition of a pattern of category and aspect combinations being requested.
IDENTIFYING PRODUCT ITEMS BASED ON SURGE ACTIVITY
Various embodiments described herein assist in identifying one or more product items of interest (e.g., high demand product items) based on surge activity, such as user buying surges, user selling surges, and user product listing (e.g., electronic or online listing) surges on an online marketplace system, and can further notify one or more users of selling opportunities of the identified products items of interest.
Electronic list user interface
Processing inputs to electronic list systems. Receiving, from a user device, a user input. Parsing the received user input for a minimum set of product data for querying a shopping service. Upon parsing a minimum set of product data for querying a shopping service, querying at least one shopping service using the parsed data. Receiving, from at least one queried shopping service, at least one product description responsive to the query. Presenting, via the user device, each received at least one product description to the user.
DYNAMIC PRODUCT INFORMATION DURING BARCODE SCANNING
A computer-implemented method includes receiving a request to scan a barcode and in response, displaying a split screen having a camera image portion and a product information portion. At least part of an image currently being captured by a camera and containing a barcode is displayed in the camera image portion. Product information for a product represented by the barcode is displayed in the product information portion.
