System and method for providing simplified in store purchases and in-app purchases using a use-interface-based payment API
Disclosed is a method including receiving, at a server and from a browser configured on a device, a request to access the server, the server being associated with a brick and mortar store, transmitting an interactive interface to the browser on the device, and receiving, from the browser on the device and via use of the interactive interface, data associated with a product in the brick and mortar store. The server transmits via a browser application programming interface that defines a protocol for communicating data between the server and the browser a request associated with a purchase of the product and receives according to the API authorized payment data. The user can scan products codes in the store using the interactive interface. The process eliminates the need for point of sale equipment and eliminates checkout lines.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MODIFYING WEBPAGES WITH DELIVERY DATE ESTIMATION
A computerized system for displaying delivery date estimation in a webpage. The system may include a processor and a nontransitory storage medium comprising instructions. When executed by the processor, the instructions may include steps of receiving, from a remote device, a first request for product information, the first request including remote device information and product identification. The steps may also include providing (to a second system) a second request for a delivery date estimate, the second request comprising the remote device information and product identification, receiving (from the second system) the delivery date estimate. The steps may also include generating an electronic message comprising the product information and the delivery date estimate and forwarding (to the remote system) the electronic message.
Identifying product items based on surge activity
Various embodiments described herein assist in identifying one or more product items of interest (e.g., high demand product items) based on surge activity, such as user buying surges, user selling surges, and user product listing (e.g., electronic or online listing) surges on an online marketplace system, and can further notify one or more users of selling opportunities of the identified products items of interest.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MULTICOLOR SEARCH OF IMAGES
Systems and methods are provided for receiving at least a first query color, and searching an electronic catalog including a plurality of product images for the first query color to determine a similarity measure between the first query color and a product image of a plurality of product images. The similarity measure may be determined by determining a Euclidean distance between values in a three-dimensional color space for the first query color and a target color of the product image, and determining the similarity measure between the query color and the product image by determining a sum of the similarity measures from all target colors on the product image, weighted by the coverage of each target color. The search results may be transmitted based on the searching of the electronic catalog including the plurality of product images for the first query color.
Systems and methods for enriching a virtual reality tour
Systems and methods are provided for enriching an in-door virtual reality (VR) tour. An exemplary system may include a communication interface configured to receive input from a user, a memory storing computer-readable instructions, and at least one processor coupled to the communication interface and the memory. The computer-readable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, may cause the at least one processor to perform operations. The operations may include detecting, through the communication interface, a trigger input by the user. In response to the detection of the trigger, the operations may include receiving, through the communication interface, enrichment data input by the user. The operations may also include determining a functional space based on a user indicator representing the user in the in-door VR tour. The operations may further include associating the enrichment data with the functional space.

Various methods are provided for programmatically providing a platform for requesting on-demand services on a consumer device. One example method may comprise receiving a job request, the job request comprising job request parameters, the job request parameters comprising at least a type of service, a location, and a time frame, identifying one or more merchants able to provide the service in accordance with the job request parameters by determining a subset of the plurality of merchants able to provide the service, at the location, within the time frame, causing transmission of a job offer to at least a first merchant of the subset of one or more merchants identified as able to provide the service in accordance with the job request parameters, receiving at least one response, the at least one response from the first merchant from the one or more merchants, and assigning the job to the first merchant.

Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing supplementary item information on communications-based compatibility features for a primary item in an item listing platform. In particular, communications-based compatibility features are extracted from user communications about the primary item to identify additional features of the item. In operation, a supplementation engine of an item listing platform, accesses user communications for the primary item. Supplementary item information is generated for the item, where the supplementary item information includes a communications-based compatibility feature associated with the item. The communications-based compatibility feature indicates that the primary item is compatible with the secondary item, a non-standard feature (e.g., a feature not provided in a feature set of the primary item), or a demographic feature (e.g., age). The supplementary item information is provided to cause presentation of a user interface element corresponding to the communications-based compatibility feature on a user interface of the item listing platform.
