Determine product relevance
The arrangement and selection of digital content to present to a user can be based at least in part upon probabilities of the user selecting to view more information and/or entering into a transaction with respect to instances of the content. For example, user behavior with respect to various items provided through a content provider can be determined in order to calculate a probability that a user was searching for a particular type of item for a given search. The user behavior can include historical action data, such as information that indicates items that were selected in response to a particular search and/or items that were purchased in response to a particular search. The historical action data can be analyzed to generate an index that indicates a likelihood that the search was intended for a particular type of product. Additionally, the historical data can be used to train language models that can be used to determine a probability of interest for a particular type of product for a given search. Once a query is received, items of interest can be determined using one of the index or language models, and those items can be presented to the user.
Systems and methods for correcting incorrect product information in an electronic data catalog
Systems and methods including one or more processing modules and one or more non-transitory storage modules storing computing instructions configured to run on the one or more processing modules and perform acts of determining an accuracy score for existing product information using a first set of rules that compares the existing product information for the product with product information of other internal or external sources, determining if the accuracy score exceeds a predetermined accuracy threshold, automatically replacing incorrect product information in the existing product information with correct product information from the other sources if the accuracy score does not exceed the predetermined accuracy threshold, coordinating displaying of the existing product information with the correct product information replacing the incorrect product information on a webpage for the product on a website of the online retailer.
Automatic fashion outfit composition and recommendation system and method
Provided is an automatic fashion outfit composition and recommendation method including a user's query item about fashion being input to a vendor item DB and the vendor item DB extracting the class and vector of the query item and transmitting the same to a reference DB, the reference DB retrieving and extracting similar items having vectors that are similar to the vector of the query item and then retrieving and extracting reference fashion outfit including the similar items, the reference DB extracting reference items included in the reference fashion outfit, computing the class and vector of each of the reference items, and transmitting the same to the vendor item DB, the vendor item DB retrieving and extracting recommended items having vectors that are similar to the vectors of the reference items, and the vendor item DB combining the query item and the recommended items to compose recommended fashion outfit and sorting and transmitting the recommended fashion outfit to a user.
Used-vehicle algorithmic pricing engine method and system
A computerized system for distributing an estimated monetary value of a used vehicle. The system comprises a server including a pricing engine which, for a used vehicle, identifies the seller of the used vehicle and a used vehicle retailer to which to offer the used vehicle, and determines a mileage and condition of the used vehicle. The server collects used vehicle sample data for different types of used vehicles, and generates a depreciation curve for each used vehicle type based on used vehicle sales data. It then groups each sampled used vehicle type with a set of similar depreciation curves into a depreciation segment, wherein the depreciation segment comprises a group of vehicle types that present a similar depreciation pattern, and matches the used vehicle of the seller to the depreciation segment, determines a monetary value of the used vehicle, and communicates the monetary value to the seller or the retailer.
Dynamically Formatted Graphical User Interface
A content provider can provide content, such as advertisements or other promotional material, to a recipient. A distribution system of the content provider can receive a query and select one or more advertisements and a user interface for presenting the advertisements based on the query, information associated with the user, a set of queries received from the user, and/or other information. A model for selecting the user interface can be generated by serving available user interfaces randomly or pseudo-randomly and monitoring user interaction with the served user interfaces. The model can be updated during regular use based on the performance of the user interfaces.
CROWD-DRIVEN DATA ANALYSIS AND RESPONSE MANAGEMENT
Techniques for data analysis are provided. Data collected from one or more social media services is received, and a first product referenced in the received data is identified. The received data is evaluated using one or more natural language processing (NLP) techniques to determine a first sentiment reflected in the data, with respect to the first product. A shift from an existing sentiment to the first sentiment is determined with respect to the first product. Upon determining that the shift exceeds predefined criteria, a survey requesting information about the first product is transmitted to a first user associated with the received data. A first response is received from the first user, and one or more actions are initiated based at least in part on the first response.
Electronic list user interface
Processing inputs to electronic list systems. Receiving, from a user device, a user input. Parsing the received user input for at least one of {product genus, product subgenus, product name, brand name, price information, retailer name, manufacturer name}. Querying a history of user activity using the parsed input. Receiving at least one product description responsive to the query. Presenting, via the user device, each received at least one product description to the user.
Travel services based on transportation criteria
Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a subscription travel service. The systems and methods include operations for determining a geographical location of a user of a subscription-based travel service; searching a list of travel services that are available for the user to consume on a travel date to identify candidate travel services; computing a likelihood of consumption value for the user based on transportation criteria associated with arriving at a given travel service in the list of travel services from the geographical location of the user; determining that the likelihood of consumption value for the user is less than a threshold; increasing a travel cost value associated with the given travel service in response to determining that the likelihood of consumption value is less than the threshold; and generating, for display in a graphical user interface to the user, an interactive visual representation of the given travel service.
REMOVAL OF LISTINGS BASED ON SIMILARITY
A method of generating a user-interface to be displayed at a remote location may include receiving a search request for an item listing and retrieving a first listing and a second listing based on the search request, determining a similarity score between the first and second listings that is based on multiple properties common to the first and second listings, and generating instructions to be transmitted to a remote location to generate a user interface to be displayed at the remote location, the user interface including the first listing, the instructions excluding the second listing from a list of results displayed on the user interface based on the similarity score exceeding a threshold and the first listing including superior values in at least one of the plurality of properties common to the first and second listings. The method may also include transmitting the instructions to the remote location for display.
Presenting search results in a dynamically formatted graphical user interface
A content provider can provide content, such as advertisements or other promotional material, to a recipient. A distribution system of the content provider can receive a query and select one or more advertisements and a user interface for presenting the advertisements based on the query, information associated with the user, a set of queries received from the user, and/or other information. A model for selecting the user interface can be generated by serving available user interfaces randomly or pseudo-randomly and monitoring user interaction with the served user interfaces. The model can be updated during regular use based on the performance of the user interfaces.
