Removal of listings based on similarity
A method of generating a user-interface to be displayed at a remote location may include receiving a search request for an item listing and retrieving a first listing and a second listing based on the search request, determining a similarity score between the first and second listings that is based on multiple properties common to the first and second listings, and generating instructions to be transmitted to a remote location to generate a user interface to be displayed at the remote location, the user interface including the first listing, the instructions excluding the second listing from a list of results displayed on the user interface based on the similarity score exceeding a threshold and the first listing including superior values in at least one of the plurality of properties common to the first and second listings. The method may also include transmitting the instructions to the remote location for display.
Parent and dependent recycling product codes for finished products
A universal, parent-to-dependent manufacturing recycling product code is provided for use on various types of manufactured goods. The recycling product code represents a tool that can be used to process a significant volume of disposed finished products, to capture and communicate essential information about finished products and their components and materials, and to make consistent repair or recycle determinations for the products. Multiple components of the finished product may be associated with dependent recycling product codes (e.g., children and grandchildren codes) which are related to the parent recycling product code. Purchase transactions involving various parts, components and materials can be facilitated through an inventory database by and among recycling centers, repair centers, original equipment manufacturers, individual consumers, and other buyers or sellers.
SEARCH QUERY-BASED REPLACEMENT PART INTERFACE
The systems and methods disclosed herein can increase the speed and ease with which a user can discover compatible replacement parts for a specified model of a product by automatically determining when the user is interested in replacement parts. A replacement part system can conclude that a user is looking for replacement parts based on the user's search queries, the user's browsing behavior, or the user's prior purchases. By automatically deducing an intention to purchase a replacement part, the replacement part system can make it easier for a user to locate suitable replacement parts. In addition, the replacement part system can be configured to tailor listing set of replacement parts search results it provides to a user. The set of search results can be tailored based on a number of criteria to increase the speed with which the user finds a compatible replacement part.
TECHNIQUES TO FACILITATE ONLINE COMMERCE BY LEVERAGING USER ACTIVITY
The present disclosure is directed to techniques to facilitate online commerce by leveraging user activity, specifically search activity for goods/services on an online platform. As described herein, the online platform refers to a turnkey e-commerce solution that enterprises use to manage electronic transactions involving their goods/services. Some techniques are directed to an improved online platform operative to predict a user's intention behind a search query and after a consider number of search queries, to have that search query as a dynamic search filter for the online platform. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING RETAIL FACILITY-RELATED INFORMATION REQUESTS OF RETAIL FACILITY WORKERS
In some embodiments, methods and systems are provided for processing information requests of workers at a retail facility and retrieving information associated with the retail facility based on the information requests. An electronic device permits a worker at the retail facility to input an information request in association with at least one worker at the retail facility or at least one product at the retail facility. A computing device receives, from the electronic device, electronic data representative of a scope of the information request, analyzes this electronic data to determine the scope of the information request, obtain relevant information from one or more databases, and transmits the obtained information to the electronic device, which in turn outputs the information to the worker.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTENT CREATION TOOL FOR USE WITH SHOPPABLE CONTENT DATA
In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing a content creation tool for use with shoppable content data. A content management system, such as, for example, an Oracle Content and Experience Cloud (OCE) environment, enables the creation of shoppable content that provides a purchasing opportunity directly from the content itself. The system can include, support, or operate in accordance with a content creation tool, that can incorporate aspects of artificial intelligence, for use with shoppable content data, including, for example, performing automatic detection of objects in an image; and automatic discovery of products to be mapped with the shoppable objects or shoppable content; for use in publishing the shoppable content in mobile application, web, or other document formats.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM FOR IMAGE ANALYSIS AND ITEM SELECTION
A method of analyzing images by a computing device to generate an e-commerce interface, comprising receiving, from a computing device associated with a first human user, a list of items associated with the first human user; receiving, from a computing device associated with a merchant, purchasing information for each item of the list of items; receiving, from a second human user, one or more images depicting the first human user using one or more items from the list of items; automatically analyzing the one or more images to identify the one or more items; and generating a user interface comprising at least one of the one or more images, links to a computing system of the merchant from which the second human user may obtain the one or more items identified.
Clickless identification and online posting
Provided are systems, devices, and methods for clickless identification of an object and clickless posting of an online listing corresponding to the identified object. In one example, a method may include one or more of identifying an object included in image data obtained via a clickless image identification process, wherein the identifying is performed while the image data is being captured by an image capturing component associated with a mobile device, predicting one or more attributes of the identified object based on previous data of similar objects posted on a web resource, and displaying an identifier of the identified object and the one or more predicted attributes of the identified object on a screen of the mobile device while the clickless image identification process is occurring.
System and method for providing data to a merchant device from a user device over a wireless link
A mobile device can establish a communication with a separate device via a single function action such as bringing the devices near to each other. A method can include establishing a communication between a mobile device and a separate device a via a wireless link, presenting an instruction associated with the potential purchase and receiving, after the instruction is displayed and interpreted by the mobile device, a single-function gesture which can be a security measure to prevent unauthorized purchase. The method includes retrieving the payment data from a memory of the mobile device and transmitting the payment data via the wireless link to the separate device to make a purchase.
System and method for intuitive content browsing
A method and system for intuitive content browsing. The method includes determining, based on a request to browse content, an initial focal point for a visual representation of the content, wherein the initial focal point represents a content item; identifying, based on the request and the determined initial focal point, the content to be browsed; generating, based on the identified content and the focal point, a visual representation of the identified content, wherein the generated visual representation includes the identified content organized with respect to the initial focal point; and sending, to a user device, the generated visual representation for display, wherein the identified content is browsed via the displayed visual representation with respect to the focal point.
