A service request information transfer system includes: a service request taking/management terminal managed by a service desk, that receives a room service request from a customer, matches the serial number of a customer terminal provided to the customer with the order number and room number of the customer, identifies the staff member closest to the location of the room from which the room service request is received, upon receiving the room service request, and provides order information to a staff terminal the closest staff member is carrying; a customer terminal that is provided to a customer and sends the serial number of the device as a short-range wireless communication signal when the customer makes a call; a cloud service server that receives a room number and the serial number of a customer terminal matching the room number from the service request taking/management terminal and stores the same, finds the room number matching the serial number upon receiving the serial number of the customer terminal, creates a room service message corresponding to the room number and sends the same to the staff terminal of the staff member closest to the room with the room number; and a staff terminal that receives a room number and a room service message from the cloud service server and displays the same so that a corresponding room service staff member acknowledges information about the room service request and provides room service.

A method for automatically populating an ecommerce cart is disclosed. The method includes receiving a request to add a product item to a shopping cart of an ecommerce shopping environment. The method includes adding the product item to the shopping cart. The method includes updating, responsive to adding the product item, a shopping cart status. The method includes determining a failure of the shopping cart status to satisfy a purchasing criteria associated with the ecommerce shopping environment. The method includes selecting, responsive to determining the failure, an additional product item based on information associated with an user account. The method includes adding the additional product item to the shopping cart.

Product recommendations are selected according to a model. Product recommendations may be annotated with rules of the model used to select the products. A user may modify the model and be provided with a URL and a cookie associated with the modified model. Subsequent requests or the URL and presenting the cookie are processed using the modified model. A context may be associated with the cookie and modified by the user to observe performance of the model for the context. An interface may permit a user to specify rules for the model or otherwise model its behavior. User interactions with a website result in recommendations according to the model. A journey is recorded that records content, recommendations, and parameters of the model corresponding to the recommendations. The journeys of users may be filtered and visually presented to a user.

A system and method for providing payments is disclosed. A method can include establishing a wireless link between a mobile device and a merchant device. After an instruction is displayed on the mobile device, a combination of a first type of input and a second type of input are received on the mobile device, first type of input including at least one button press of a physical button and the second type of input received from a user to confirm a payment for the purchase. Based on the inputs, payment data is retrieved from a memory of the mobile device. The method includes receiving the payment data at the merchant device to make the purchase, wherein receiving the payment data, via the wireless link, at the merchant device to make the purchase is performed according to a protocol for communicating the payment data to the merchant device.

Described are systems, methods and arrangements for enabling fulfillment of items from printed materials. When printed material is generated it includes an embedded ordering device (“EOD”) that can be activated by a user that is viewing the printed material. Upon activation, the EOD connects to a wireless network and sends a unique identifier data to a fulfillment service. The fulfillment service, upon receiving the unique identifier data determines an item associated with the unique identifier data and a delivery destination (e.g., the address to which the printed material was delivered) and fulfills the item to the delivery destination.

An example method includes receiving an application device identifier from an application device associated with a location tag; receiving blink data from the location tag; calculating, using a processor, location data based on the blink data; in response to an event occurrence indication, generating, using the processor, a camera data request based on the location data and the event occurrence indication; transmitting the camera data request; and receiving camera data from the application device in response to the camera data request.

In various embodiments, a computing system might assess content and/or information presented in a checkout page of a retailer website, the checkout page listing items selected by a user for purchase and a total purchase amount. The computing system might autonomously modify the checkout page by generating a user-selectable option therewithin, the user-selectable option comprising an option to purchase the items using a gift card available for purchase from a service provider. In response to selection of the user-selectable option, the computing system might provide a purchase interface that presents the user with a process to purchase a gift card having a gift card value. After completing purchase of the gift card, the computing system might apply the gift card value toward the total purchase amount within the checkout page.

The present disclosure provides a computerized method item correlation including: receiving an indication of an order comprising at least one item; determining if the order is urgent based on an amount of time remaining until the items must ship to a customer; determining a location of each of a plurality of pickers; iteratively, for items in the order: identifying a picker closest to the item, the picker having a current job priority; correlating the closest picker and the item in a data structure; re-correlating, in the data structure, at least one item previously correlated with the closest picker to an alternate picker in response to the current job priority not being urgent; sending, to a user device of the closest picker, a location and item identifier associated with the item; and storing, in the data structure, a completion flag in correlation with the item upon receipt of an item-complete message.
