System and method to direct processing of orders to improve processing resource usage
There is provided a system and method to direct processing of orders to improve processing resource usage. QOS statistics relative to wait times and/or processing times or other measures of busyness may be maintained relative to physical office or branch locations where customers attend to have orders processed. QOS measures may be defined relative to these statistical measures of busyness that predict future busyness at respective locations. The QOS measures may be provided to a customer, such as in association with an order ahead application, to recommend to the customer to attend at a location that is less busy thereby distributing processing requests (orders) to less busy locations and better utilize resources.
Voice-based in-store digital checkout system
Methods and systems for providing a digital cart management system for use by customers within a retail location. In use, a customer shops within a retail location and adds items to a digital cart as the customer is adding the items to a physical cart, e.g., at least in part by voice input. When the customer is finished shopping, the customer can checkout via a digital process, thereby bypassing point of sale devices at the retail location.
Account customized item list system
Described herein is a system and techniques for implementing a single mechanism that, when activated, provides a list of items which is customized according to the user that activated the mechanism. In some embodiments, a list of item types may be received by the system. The system may identify a number of potential items for each of the item types in the list of item types. The potential items may be filtered based on configuration settings associated with the user in order to identify a most appropriate item for each item type in the list of item types. The user may then be provided with a list of items that includes the most appropriate item for each item type. In some embodiments, the user may be provided with the ability to complete a transaction for one or more item in the list of items.
Systems and methods for processing exception event request to identify defective product
A system for processing exception event request to identify defective product includes one or more processors configured to receive, from a customer device, an exception event request associated with a product included in an order, the received exception event request comprising a product identifier. Access database to identify a number of exception event requests associated with the product identifier stored in the database. Determine when the number of exception event requests associated with the product identifier exceeds a predetermined threshold number of exception event requests for the product identifier. In response to determining that the number of exception event requests associated with the product identifier exceeds the predetermined threshold number of exception event requests, identify the product as a defective product.
System and method for dynamically orchestrating application program interface trust
A system includes a purchase portal configured to receive a purchase order from a customer, wherein the purchase order includes a service from each of a plurality of service providers. When receipt of the purchase order is detected, a processor determines first and second ones of the service providers associated with the purchase order; and establishes a trust relationship between the first service provider and the second service provider in a context of the customer. The processor also sends a first request for a first trust artifact to the first service provider and a second request for a second trust artifact to the second service provider; receives the first trust artifact from the first service provider, receives the second trust artifact from the second service provider, sends the first trust artifact to the second service provider, and sends the second trust artifact to the first service provider.
Real meal with virtual networking
A system may include one or more processor and memory coupled with the one or more processors that effectuates operations. The operations may include generating an interface (e.g., graphical) for a second user for a second profile to order food associated with a first profile of a first user during a period, wherein the period is designated by the first user; receiving an indication of a first order of food associated the first profile during the period; sending instructions to prepare the first order of food; receiving an indication that the first order is paid by an account associated with the first profile; receiving an indication of an address to deliver the food and an indication not to expose the address to the first profile (e.g., keep private, such as do NOT display or send the address); and sending instructions to display the progress in delivering the food to the address.
Distributed numeric sequence generation
Various embodiments of a distributed numeric sequence generation system and method are described. In particular, some embodiments provide high-scale, high-availability, low-cost and low-maintenance numeric sequence generation in a non-Relational Database Management System (“non-RBMS”) system by sacrificing monotonicity. The distributed numeric sequence generation system comprises a plurality of hosts, wherein individual hosts implement a cache for caching a plurality of numeric sequences. A host can access master numeric sequence data at a separate system to obtain values for numeric sequences to store in its cache. A host can receive a request from a client for values of a numeric sequence, and provide to the client the values for the numeric sequence from its cache. Some embodiments of the distributed numeric sequence generation system and method are also equipped to vend recyclable and bounded numeric sequences.
AUTOMATICALLY HANDLING ELECTRONIC ORDERS
A method for automatically handling electronic orders is disclosed. The method includes receiving an order indication indicating an electronic order for an item by a customer. The method further includes determining a security value based on the order indication and initiating a transfer of at least one digital valuable from a first account associated with the customer to a second account based on the security value. In this manner, a seller of the item is provided with a security or a deposit in the form of the digital value. A system implementing the method is also disclosed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO PROVIDE A QUESTION SERIES
Systems and methods to provide a question series are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: receive and store in electronic storage questions, parameters, criteria to the parameters, and events from a user; generate, based on the parameters and the questions, a question series for presentation to individual ones of the consumers; effectuate presentation of a set of the questions of the question series via individual client computing platforms associated with the consumers; obtain responses to the set of the questions from the consumers; obtain indications of the occurrence of the events related to the individual consumers; adjust the ensuing questions for presentation of the question series based on the occurrence of the events and/or the responses; and effectuate presentation of a subsequent set of the questions of the question series via individual client computing platforms of the consumers based on the adjustment to the ensuing questions.
Devices, systems, and methods for secure and adaptable transportation of goods and/or persons
A method includes receiving, by a first device of a transportation provider, a device ID of a particular device of a user and purchase information regarding a purchase, by the user, of one or more goods or services. The method includes sending, by the first device, the device ID of the particular user device to a central server. The method includes receiving, by the first device from the central server, information regarding the particular user device. The method includes determining, by the first device, a selected transportation vehicle based on the purchase information and the information regarding the particular user device. The method includes sending, by the first device, a vehicle ID of the selected transportation vehicle to the central server. The method includes providing a transportation service to the user using the particular user device and the selected transportation vehicle.
