The present disclosure provides systems and methods for automatic packaging determination comprising a memory storing instructions and at least one processor performing steps comprising: receiving an order comprising at least one item; searching a data store to determine a tag, volume, and weight associated with each item; sorting the items into groups based on the tags of the items; performing an optimization process for each group of items having the same tag by: creating a data structure representing a first package of the group; iteratively simulating packing a largest remaining item of the group into the first package, wherein if the simulating determines that a threshold is exceeded: creating an additional data structure representing an additional package, and iteratively simulating packing a largest remaining item until all items of the group are packed into a package; and generating at least one list of items for the data structures representing packages.

An electronic invoicing system provides a web-based portal with respective views for a suppliers submitting electronic invoices and a user of an enterprise submitting and/or reviewing electronic invoices. The portal displays a user interface on a screen that enables a supplier or user to retrieve or create information related to an electronic invoice, purchase order or requisition number using a text fields and icons. An administrator is able to enter information to be provided to the suppliers via a home screen of the web-based portal, and the system includes software tools enabling the information to be published on the home screen of the portal without web-based programming.

A point-of-sale terminal for fulfilling orders under non-persistent network conditions is provided. The terminal includes a state processor and an order processor. The state processor queues state changes in durable order queues that correspond to orders in a restaurant. The order processor, coupled to the state processor, generates the state changes and accesses and transmits the state changes in each one of the durable order queues to a synchronization server, from oldest to youngest, when operably connected to a network, where the order processor includes current order state fields corresponding to the orders, and where the order processor utilizes domain specific rules disposed therein to resolve conflicts in the orders occurring from state change updates received from the synchronization server which result from other state changes to the orders generated by one or more other POS terminals.

Systems and methods described herein may process information to perform a checkout of a product, the product comprising an experience, a physical product, and/or a digital product. The product may be fulfilled and a charge associated with the product may be processed after the product has been fulfilled.

Systems and methods of controlling material flow can be used to streamline order fulfillment. For example, according to some embodiments described herein, takt times of goods-to-person order picking work cell processes are enhanced to expedite order processing. A goods-to-person order picking process involves moving items for an order directly to a work cell of an operator or an automated system. At order processing work cells, one or more items are transferred from origin containers and placed in shipping containers in accordance with customer orders. Work cell redundancy can be utilized to enhance efficiencies of goods-to-person order picking processes in some cases.

Systems, methods, and a printer apparatus using network-based communication over wireless networks, and provides for electronic response from the printer relating to order confirmation and fulfillment at the recipient printer, in communication to an order management coordinator or server. The printer provides an order output including at least one symbol representing an order, including order information. The printer is operable to broadcast a wireless communication signal for proximity marketing and order delivery coordination.

A biometric exit system controls exit of a person from an area with an asset. The system obtains a digital representation of a biometric for the person. The system receives an identification of the person using the digital representation of the biometric. Using the identification, the system receives permissions regarding whether or not the person may exit the area with the asset. If the person is permitted, the system allows the person to exit. Upon allowing exit, the system may transmit a message to the person. The message may include a confirmation of a transaction and/or one or more offers to which the person can respond.

A method for managing processes by using spreadsheet-type data is provided. The method includes steps of: a process managing server (a) if spreadsheet-type data including a list of product orders, its corresponding information on sequential processes are acquired, assigning priorities to the individual product orders and creating a process table; and (b) (i) transmitting the process table to a manager's and workers' terminals, (ii) changing, if information on selecting a specific product order is acquired from the manager's terminal, the color of a specific process area to be a first color, (iii) changing, if information on selecting the specific process area is acquired from a terminal of a specific worker, the color of the specific process area to a second one, and (iv) changing, if information on selecting the specific process area is acquired from the specific worker's terminal, the color of the specific process area to a third one.

A computer-implemented system for dynamic inventory balancing including at a processor and a memory device comprising instructions that when executed configure the processor to perform operations. The operations including receiving an inventory data feed from at least one fulfillment center, storing (in a database) a plurality of virtual bundles with associated grouping numbers and quantities—the plurality of virtual bundles having item bundles grouping two or more of a same item in the inventory data. The operations also include exposing the database to queries from a seller portal through at least one of RESTful service, a queue based system, an index, or an object table and receiving a client order, the client order comprising a bundle selection from the plurality of virtual bundles, and updating the plurality of virtual bundles by rebalancing the plurality of virtual bundles and corresponding associated quantities based on the bundle selection.

An example operation may include one or more of signing a blockchain transaction by an endorsement peer member of a blockchain, transmitting the blockchain transaction to an ordering service, identifying a blockchain transaction queue length, and receiving a signed promise from the ordering service that the blockchain transaction will be included in an identified block number based on the blockchain transaction queue length.
