A pre-processing and fulfillment system and method are described. In some implementations, the method may include receiving an order containing a retail component and a pharmacy component, processing the order for the pharmacy component and the retail component, and generating a tracking token identifying the order and authorizing a party to receive a component of the order. The method may include transmitting fulfillment instructions to a fulfillment system based on processed information for the order, and transmitting the tracking token to a computing device of the authorized party. Some implementations may also include receiving a signal indicating receipt of the tracking token and an authorized transfer of the component, and updating a status of the order based on the received signal.

Methods and systems for rendering lists of instructions and performing actions associated with those lists are described herein. In some embodiments, an individual may request that a voice activated electronic device associated with their user account assist in performing a task using a list of instructions. The list of instructions may include metadata that indicates actions capable of being performed by additional Internet of Things (“IoT”) devices. When the instructions are rendered, an instructions speechlet may recognize the metadata and may cause one or more of the IoT devices to perform a particular action. Furthermore, the metadata may also correspond to content capable of being rendered by the voice activated electronic device to assist the individual in performing a particular step of the instructions.

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for providing state information of a taxi service order and a storage medium. The method includes: in a cast that an electronic device is in a screen-locked state, detecting that the state information corresponding to the taxi service order changes, and acquiring changed state information of the taxi service order; and generating voice information corresponding to the changed state information, and broadcasting the voice information through voice.

Disclosed is a method of providing information related to an order by an electronic apparatus, the method including acquiring necessary order information including information on at least one order item, information on an order quantity of the at least one order item, and information on a lead time of the at least one order item, confirming a reference date based on the information on the lead time, confirming information on a remaining storage capacity of a fulfillment center on the reference date, confirming a target order item whose order quantity is to be adjusted from the necessary order information when order quantity corresponding to the necessary order information exceeds the remaining storage capacity of the fulfillment center on the reference date, and providing updated order information in which the order quantity of the target order item is adjusted.

Disclosed are a method and electronic apparatus for providing information related to an order. The method includes acquiring quantity information of an order item in a fulfillment center and information on a period related to order quantity calculation for the order item, confirming a reference date for the order quantity calculation and a reference period starting from the reference date based on the information on the period, determining estimated consumption information of the order item by the reference date and estimated demand information of the order item for the reference period, and providing information on an order quantity of the order item calculated based on the quantity information, the estimated consumption information, and the estimated demand information.

In some implementations, a warehouse management system is used. An order manager receives an order requiring an item to be moved to a first physical location. Data of the order is stored. The data for the order is accessed. A target item matching the required item to be moved is identified. Data representing a logical location of a target item is accessed. The workload manager identifies based on the data representing the logical location of the target item one or more tasks that are configured to move the target item to the first location. The tasks can be performed to move the target items to the first location.

For each retailer in the geographic region, an online system predicts a number of orders placed at the retailer and a capacity to fulfill orders during a forecast time period. The capacity of the retailer is predicted based on a number of pickers expected to be available to the retailer during the forecast time period. The online system determines demand for the services of a picker at the retailer based on a comparison of the predicted number of orders and the predicted capacity to fulfill those orders. The online system displays a user interactive map of the geographic region to the picker. The map displays a pin at the location of each retailer in the geographic region, which describes the categorization determined for the retailer. The picker selects a pin, which causes the user interactive map to display a notification characterizing the demand for services at the retailer.

The supplier searches purchase order created by the buyer for the supplier to submit invoice. The method includes, with add-in architecture returning a set of purchase order details. The method includes enabling the supplier to submit invoice against the purchase order. With an add-in architecture, the method include submitting the invoices in buyer's procurement solution.
