Product recommendations are selected according to a model. Product recommendations may be annotated with rules of the model used to select the products. A user may modify the model and be provided with a URL and a cookie associated with the modified model. Subsequent requests or the URL and presenting the cookie are processed using the modified model. A context may be associated with the cookie and modified by the user to observe performance of the model for the context. An interface may permit a user to specify rules for the model or otherwise model its behavior. User interactions with a website result in recommendations according to the model. A journey is recorded that records content, recommendations, and parameters of the model corresponding to the recommendations. The journeys of users may be filtered and visually presented to a user.
Systems to fulfill a picked sales order and related methods therefor
A number of embodiments can include a system. The system can include one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable storage devices storing computing instructions. The computing instructions can be configured to run on the one or more processors and perform: receiving, from a customer electronic device of a customer, a request for an order comprising one or more goods; determining an estimated fulfillment time for the order; promising the one or more goods of the order for receipt by the customer at a receivable clock time based on the estimated fulfillment time; after promising the one or more goods of the order for receipt by the customer at the receivable clock time, detecting a delay condition associated with making ready at least a portion of the one or more goods of the order; in response to detecting the delay condition, waiting a predetermined amount of time comprising a percentage of a previous time for performing a delayed activity associated with the delay condition; and after waiting the predetermined amount of time, communicating a notification of the delay condition to a receiving party. Other embodiments are described herein.
Method, system, and computer program product for automatically providing items based on item preferences
A method for automatically providing items based on an item preference may include receiving payment credential data associated with a payment credential and preference data associated with an item preference of a user, determining whether one or more items associated with the item preference of the user is available, and processing, with at least one processor, a payment transaction involving the one or more items associated with the item preference of the user based on determining that the item is available. A system and a computer program product are also provided.
Construction management method, system, computer readable medium, computer architecture, computer-implemented instructions, input-processing-output, graphical user interfaces, databases and file management
A computer-implemented system for construction management. Operations include receiving as input an electronic version of a document; identifying at least one string of data from the electronic version of the document; mapping the identified at least one string of data to a predetermined unitary database including at least one key string of data associated with at least one key event; tagging the mapped and identified at least one string of data with a tag associated with the at least one key string of data associated with the at least one key event; and transmitting a signal based on the tagged, mapped, and identified at least one string of data. Related methods, devices, apparatuses, systems, techniques and articles are also described.
Graphical user interface for displaying tips to hosts providing time expiring listings in a reservation system
This disclosure includes methods for displaying tips to hosts in a reservation system. The reservation system collects viewing data upon receiving viewing requests from potential guests to view a listing in the reservation system. The reservation system associates the viewing data with the listing. The reservations system applies a set of conditional expressions and calculations to the viewing data of the listing to compare the listing to a peer group of similar listings for each time interval in an evaluation time range. In some embodiments, a GUI is presented to the host of the subject listing comprising a histogram of the number of views of the subject listing, an indication of the number of views of the peer group of the subject listing, and region for displaying tips to the host of the subject listing.
Utilizing a computing system to batch deliveries for logistical efficiency
Techniques and arrangements for combining orders for items to be delivered to multiple buyers. Based on an indication of interest in a merchant by a first consumer, the first consumer and a nearby second consumer can be offered incentives to order from a same or nearby merchant in order to combine orders for delivery, thereby increasing the logistical efficiency of the deliveries. The indication of interest can be a commencement of an order, an indication that the first buyer “likes” a merchant, a search for the merchant, or other way to indicate an interest in the particular merchant. The incentives can include discounted delivery fees, discounted orders, and the like.
PROVIDING ON-DEMAND SERVICES THROUGH USE OF PORTABLE COMPUTING DEVICES
A computer system communicates with provider computing devices associated with a plurality of service types. In response to receiving a first communication from a requester computing device, the computer system (i) determines, based at least in part on location information communicated by multiple provider computing devices associated with a first service type, a first value representative of a first property of available services of the first service type, (ii) determines, based at least in part on a current location of the requester computing device and location information communicated by one or more of the multiple provider computing devices, a second value representative of a second property of available services of the first service type, and (iii) transmits data comprising the first value and the second value to cause the requester computing device to display the first value and the second value in association with the first service type.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND METHOD, PROGRAM, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to an information processing device and a method, a program, and an information processing system that are designed to enhance the convenience of lending services. Information related to lending in a lending service of lending out an object is acquired from another information processing device. Information to be presented to a user is generated with the use of the acquired lending-related information, the information to be presented to the user being related to the lending service. The generated information to be presented to the user is then output. The present disclosure can be applied to information processing devices, for example.
ONLINE PLATFORM FOR PROCESSING MERCHANDISE SHIPPING
Systems, methods, and processor-readable storage media for processing merchandise shipping are provided to ensure that a supplier fulfills a purchase order in a manner that will keep a supply chain filled with the product based on a demand. For example, when a purchase order is generated, a timer can be activated. Within a predetermined period, the supplier can confirm fulfilment of purchase order through an online platform. Based on this confirmation and historical data collected for the supplier, a shipping location and other shipping parameters can be predicted by the online platform. If the timer is expired and no supplier's confirmation is received or if the supplier denies confirming the fulfilment of purchase order, a default operation is initiated. The default operation may cause canceling of purchase order or communicating to the supplier to resolve any issues.
System and Method for Caching of Data in a Computer System
A system and method are presented for using a plurality of data caches to increase the efficiency of a computing system in an e-commerce environment. Separate caches with distinct time-to-live values are created, one each for customer information, customer cart contents, and product pricing data. Product pricing is pre-analyzed using a pricing data engine that calculates multiple potential prices for a single item that is then stored in the product pricing data cache. This data can then be used in a variety of contexts to determine different pricing for the same product without requiring another request for product data from the pricing data engine. When a product is viewed during catalog browsing, all information needed to determine pricing for that particular user might be accessible from the data caches for fast processing.
