A method, system, and computer-readable medium for automatically determining appropriate delivery information for one or more items of an order or potential order is described. A variety of types of information can be considered when determining what delivery information is appropriate for one or more items, such as a type of the items, the particular items, relationships of the items to other items, information about the purchaser, and/or information about the recipient. In addition, the automatic determination of an appropriate address for an item being ordered or potentially ordered by a user can be made in a variety of ways, such as based on inferences from past behavior when ordering items, on inferences from information about the item and from available delivery information for the user, and/or on previous explicit indications from the user.

A digital content provider is configured to identify, based at least in part on various customer user profiles, digital content that is to be pre-loaded onto one or more customer computing devices in advance of the digital content being available for at least one mode of consumption by the one or more computing devices. The digital content provider may use these user profiles, as well as other external information, to identify one or more customers that are to receive the digital content. Subsequently, the digital content provider may download the digital content onto each identified customer's one or more computing devices in advance of the at least one mode of consumption becoming available to the customers. An automated retail machine controlled by a server which operates by receiving an order for at least one item from a processor, and generating a unique identifier corresponding to the order. The unique identifier serves to both identify and retrieve the order, and also process payment method. The server then transmits the unique identifier back to the processor, which is then sent back to the server from a terminal once the unique identifier is processed and activated therein. The order is then sent to the terminal for vending, in which case, the at least one item is automatically vended. The unique identifier is then cancelled.

The present disclosure discloses a method and electronic device for online purchasing membership services. The method includes the following steps: an acquisition step for acquiring attribute information of a membership service that a user intends to purchase; an identification step for identifying a behavior that the user adds a membership service commodity that the user intends to purchase into a shopping cart; and a settlement step for settling the amount of money of the membership service paid by the user. According to the present disclosure, by putting the purchased membership service commodity into the shopping cart and then performing settlement, a commodity settlement system of a shopping website can be simplified, and a new settlement system does not need to be additionally set up for the settlement of virtual commodities such as membership services and the like.
