Systems and methods for facilitating card verification over a network
A system and method for facilitating electronic commerce over a network, according to one or more embodiments, includes communicating with a user via a user device and an issuer of payment media via an issuer device over the network, the payment media being issued to the user by the issuer, receiving user instruction over the network to link the payment media to a user account related to the user, prompting the user over the network to input a secure password known only by the issuer and the user, receiving the secure password from the user over the network, verifying that the payment media is owned by the user over the network via a secure protocol, returning a response to the user related to verification of the payment media, and storing payment media verification information.
Metadata driven orchestration engine
An efficient reusable, extensible light weight framework statelessly orchestrates system activities in any application which involves a series of sequential or parallel set of activities involving computational logic, data retrieval and persistence services. Actual orchestration steps and activities and computational logic are specified into configuration files, separate from the orchestration engine itself, thereby eliminating the need to code for such logic and activities. The framework can eliminate the need to code business logic and orchestration of data retrieval services by externalizing them into configuration files, resulting in lower costs to implement, test and maintain such system during its lifespan.
Service request information transfer system and meihod
A service request information transfer system includes: a service request taking/management terminal managed by a service desk, that receives a room service request from a customer, matches the serial number of a customer terminal provided to the customer with the order number and room number of the customer, identifies the staff member closest to the location of the room from which the room service request is received, upon receiving the room service request, and provides order information to a staff terminal the closest staff member is carrying; a customer terminal that is provided to a customer and sends the serial number of the device as a short-range wireless communication signal when the customer makes a call; a cloud service server that receives a room number and the serial number of a customer terminal matching the room number from the service request taking/management terminal and stores the same, finds the room number matching the serial number upon receiving the serial number of the customer terminal, creates a room service message corresponding to the room number and sends the same to the staff terminal of the staff member closest to the room with the room number; and a staff terminal that receives a room number and a room service message from the cloud service server and displays the same so that a corresponding room service staff member acknowledges information about the room service request and provides room service.
Replenishment receptacle (connected consumer packaged goods) for a consumption and replenishment system and process
A replenishment receptacle comprised of a volumetric region for storing a consumable good during shipping to a consumer location, a processor, a transceiver, programmatic instructions stored in a non-transitory storage medium, an a sensor for determining a quantity of the consumable good in the volumetric region. The sensor periodically detects and reports changes in the quantity of the consumable good present the volumetric region. When the quantity is low (below an established threshold), the consumer good is automatically reordered from a vender, purchased, and shipped to a consumer location. In embodiments, a rate of consumption of the consumable good affects when automatic reordering occurs to ensure the consumable good does not run-out before a new quantity arrives at the consumer location. The replenishment receptacle is able to be discarded in embodiments, where in others it is reusable and/or partially recyclable.
Determining order preferences and item suggestions
A computer system may connect to various customer-facing devices and manage or automate the order process between a retail store and the customer. The computer system may perform the dialogue and receive an order for items from the retail store and may perform quality control monitoring of the dialogue between customers and employees taking orders. The ordering system may utilize the ordered items in combination with various contextual cues to determine a customer identity which may then be linked to past orders and/or various order preferences. Based on the determined customer identity, the system may provide recommendations of additional order items or order alterations to the customer before personally identifying information has been collected from the customer. The determination of the customer identity and the determination of recommendations may be performed by machine learning algorithms that were trained on customer data and the retail store products.
Third party system reporting actions performed through the third party system by an online system user in response to messages received by the online system user
An online system allows users to exchange messages with other users, including entities such as businesses. A user, such as a business, may use a third party system to manage messages with users of the online system. The online system provides the third party information with instructions comprising tracking mechanisms that identify specific actions between users from messages exchanged between users. For example, if a user purchases a product from another user via a message thread, a tracking mechanism identifies the purchase and transmits information reporting the purchase and identifying users to the online system. Hence, the tracking mechanism transmits a description of an action and information identifying the users to the online system, and may also transmit additional information, such as a value of the action to a user. The online system may use the descriptions of actions for content targeting or measurement and reporting of actions.
ORDER PLACING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SET MEAL PRODUCT
The present disclosure discloses methods and devices for ordering package products. The method includes: receiving an order information processing request and generating corresponding order data; if the order information comprises package ordering information, generating, for the package ordering information, purchase data sheets associated with the order data, generating purchase group data sheets associated with the purchase data sheets based on packages as granularities, and generating purchase product details data sheets associated with the purchase group data sheets based on products as granularities; storing the order data, the purchase data sheets, the purchase group data sheets, and the purchase product details data sheets to complete ordering of package products.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING INVOICE DATA, PAYMENT CREDIT TRANSFERS, REAL-TIME PACKAGE TRACKING, AND ACCOUNT-TO-ACCOUNT PAYMENT ON DELIVERY
A method for real-time invoice updating and account-to-account payment includes: receiving invoice data based on presentation of an invoice by a distributor to a recipient at a delivery location, modification of the invoice by the recipient, and acceptance of the invoice by the recipient; generating a request for payment (RFP) message based on the invoice data; transmitting the RFP message to a financial institution associated with the recipient via a financial institution of the distributor; receiving, from the financial institution associated with the distributor, a payment confirmation for the invoice based on a real-time payment from the financial institution associated with the recipient; generating reconciliation data based on the payment confirmation and the invoice data; and transmitting the reconciliation data to a computing device of the distributor and a computing device of the recipient.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE SUPPLY AND/OR ACQUISITION OF BULK PRODUCTS
The disclosure relates to a system and method for the supply and/or acquisition of bulk products, the system comprising: a dispensing device; at least one identification and control module; at least one container; a user interface for providing each user access to a user account; and at least one user identification element, wherein the identification and control module comprises at least one identifying element and at least one control element.
VOICE-BASED PRE-STAGED TRANSACTION PROCESSING
A natural-language voice chatbot engages a consumer in a voice dialogue. The consumer can perform voice queries for specific items and/or specific establishments for placing a pre-staged order with the chatbot. Once the consumer selects options with a specific establishment, a pre-staged order is provided to the corresponding establishment on behalf of the user. Location data for a consumer-operated device is monitored and when it is determined that the consumer will arrive at the establishment within a time period required by the establishment to prepare the pre-staged order, a message is sent to the establishment to begin preparing the pre-staged order. When the location data indicates that the consumer has arrived at the establishment, a second message is sent to the establishment informing the establishment that the consumer has arrived to pick up the fulfilled order.
