Voice-Based Menu Personalization

A natural-language voice chatbot engages a consumer in a voice dialogue. The chatbot is customized for engaging the specific consumer based on features and characteristics of that specific consumer's speech and a lexicon associated with terms, words, and commands for item ordering. The consumer can perform voice queries for specific items and/or specific establishments for placing a pre-staged order with the chatbot. Once the consumer selects options with a specific establishment, a pre-staged order is provided to the corresponding establishment on behalf of the user. Location data for a consumer-operated device is monitored and when it is determined that the consumer will arrive at the establishment within a time period required by the establishment to prepare the pre-staged order, a message is sent to the establishment to begin preparing the pre-staged order.

APPARATUS AND TECHNIQUE FOR THE INCREASE OF PROCUREMENT PROCESS EFFICIENCY

Systems and computer-implemented methods herein are related to averaging normalized values related to a first plurality of factors to generate a first value related to documented procedures of a procurement process of a project; averaging normalized values related to a second plurality of factors to generate a second value related to lead time of the procurement process; averaging normalized values related to a third plurality of factors to generate a third value related to performance of the procurement process; determining, based on the first, second, and third values, a fourth value related to efficiency of the procurement process; outputting an indication of the fourth value; and outputting an indication of a remedial action to be taken related to one or more of the first value, the second value, and the third value. Other embodiments may be described or claimed.

A transactional chat platform including a customer sub-system and customer interface, a client sub-system and client interface, and a server sub-system and database is provided. The sub-systems may be configured to transmit data between the customer sub-system and the client sub-system, between the client sub-system and the server sub-system, and between the customer sub-system and the server sub-system. The client sub-system may be configured to display an icon for a chat box corresponding to the chat widget on the client website, and upon receiving a selection of the chat box icon from the second set of input devices, display the chat box using the aesthetic interface attribute settings. A transaction may be initiated in response to customer communications via the chat box.

VEHICULAR DRIVER MONITORING

Disclosed herein is a vehicle theft prevention device. The device can include a data store including event configuration data. The device can include one or more sensors that can sense various types of measurements proximate to a vehicle. The device can include a computing device in communication with the sensors. The computing device can read measurements from the sensors and determine that a particular event has occurred. The computing device can analyze the measurements to determine the particular event occurred based on the event configuration data. When the particular event occurs, the computing device can perform one or more remedial actions.

POINT-OF-INTEREST-BASED ANTI-VEHICLE THEFT SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES FOR USING THE SAME

A sensing device can include at least one sensor, positioning circuitry, a transceiver, and a computing device in communication with the at least one sensor, the positioning circuitry, and the transceiver. The computing device can determine a location of a vehicle via the positioning circuitry. The computing device can determine that a point of interest (POI) associated with a predefined category of POIs corresponds to the location. The computing device, via the transceiver, can determine that a person is moving away from the vehicle based on a measurement associated with a remote device. The computing device can enter into an armed mode in response to the determinations. The computing device can detect an intrusion into a vehicle while in the armed mode based at least in part on measurements from the at least one sensor. The computing device can generate an alarm in response to the intrusion.

Order details for an order is evaluated based on real-time data associated with establishments that can satisfy the order, location data, traffic conditions, estimated order preparation times, and available delivery personnel (when the order is associated with a delivery). An optimal establishment that can fulfill the order is selected and the order with the order details is placed with the optimal establishment. In an embodiment, the real-time data continues to be evaluated after the order is placed, and when conditions warrant the order is redirected to a new optimal establishment for fulfillment.

Frictionless Patron Monitoring

An identity of a patron within an establishment is authenticated when the patron enters the establishment using a variety of attributes captured in a real-time video. The identity is mapped to a registered profile of the patron that comprises at least a registered payment method. The patron is tracked to locations within the establishment as the patron moves around the establishment. Actions, behaviors, and gestures of the patron are mapped to service requests from the video. Staff are dispatched to prepare services items for the service requests and to assist the patron at current patron location within the establishment. The staff and the service items are also monitored from the video. Furthermore, the staff and the patron are monitored in the video for prohibited behaviors and actions. When the patron leaves the establishment, payment for the service items is automatically processed using the registered payment method of the registered profile.
