Ai based colluded shipping with 3D printing
An approach is provided in which an information handling system receives a request for a product from a first entity that includes multiple components. The information handling system determines that the components include a set of printable 3D components and a set of non-printable 3D components. Next, the information handling system sends a set of component instructions to a second entity to print the set of printable 3D components and, in turn, sends a set of assembly instructions to the second entity to assemble the product using the set of 3D printable components and the set of non-printable 3D components.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DYNAMIC POST-TRANSACTION ORDERS AND REDEMPTION
Systems and methods for determining whether a transaction between a consumer and a retailer qualifies for the consumer to receive an offer to send a gift received as a result of the transaction to a separate recipient. A gifting service system receives order confirmation details associated with the transaction, and assesses a variety of information from various sources to determine if the transaction qualifies for the offer. If so, the offer to send a gift is presented to the consumer. Once the consumer accepts the offer, the gifting service system obtains various selections and items of information, and sends a gift notification to an intended recipient. The gifting service system interacts with the recipient to obtain various selections and items of information to facilitate delivery of the gift to the recipient.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USE OF BIOMETRIC INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH CONSUMER INTERACTIONS
Embodiments provide a computer-executed method, a computer system and computer program product for facilitating a commercial transaction. The method includes transmitting computer-executable instructions to cause a representation of an item to be displayed on a consumer interface rendered on a visual display of a computing device associated with a consumer. The method also includes receiving, from the computing device, an indication of consumer input performed using the consumer interface, the consumer input associated with the representation of the item available for a commercial transaction. The method also includes receiving, from the computing device, biometric information associated with the consumer. The method also includes determining an identity of the consumer based on the biometric information and, based on the identity of the consumer, associating the consumer input with a predetermined command defined for the consumer. The method further includes transmitting computer-executable instructions to facilitate a transaction associated with the command with respect to the item.
Pairing Devices to Prevent Digital Content Misuse
A method for preventing digital content misuse can include detecting, by a client-side computing device, that the client-side computing device is paired to a viewing device such that, after being paired, the client-side computing device can cause digital content received from a remote server to be presented on a display of the viewing device; after detecting that the client-side computing device is paired to the viewing device, detecting, by the client-side computing device, that the client-side computing device has been unpaired from the viewing device; and in response to detecting that the client-side computing device has been unpaired from the viewing device, executing a remedial action.
Systems and methods for detection of session tampering and fraud prevention
The invention provides methods and apparatus for detecting when an online session is compromised. A plurality of device fingerprints may be collected from a user computer that is associated with a designated Session ID. A server may include pages that are delivered to a user for viewing in a browser at which time device fingerprints and Session ID information are collected. By collecting device fingerprints and session information at several locations among the pages delivered by the server throughout an online session, and not only one time or at log-in, a comparison between the fingerprints in association with a Session ID can identify the likelihood of session tampering and man-in-the middle attacks.
Methods and apparatus for selling paint products in stores that traditionally do not sell paint
A sales person at a retail store which traditionally does not sell paint assists a consumer in selecting and purchasing a non-paint product and thereafter employs a computer terminal and display in conjunction with a website operated by a paint manufacturer to provide a paint color recommendation to the consumer. The sales person may thereafter respond to consumer selection of a particular paint color by employing an on-line electronic ordering tool to transmit a paint order to an order processing terminal located at a paint manufacturer facility. Thereafter, the paint manufacturer may proceed to process the order, perform tinting and shaking steps to formulate paint of the particular color, package the tinted paint, and cause the packaged paint to be shipped to the consumer.
Tools and methods for designing indoor and outdoor waveguide system networks
Design tools and methods of use for designing, ordering, and providing manufacturing and installation instructions for waveguide system networks include a system design tool including a location selection module to determine a selected location, a satellite imagery component to provide an image based on the selected location, an overlay module to overlay a design on the image, and a customization module to customize the design. The system design tool includes one or more design modules to at least one of automatically output and build via user input one or more design options based on the image, and a design customization module to select the design from the one or more design options. The system design tool includes a positioning module to set a pair of connectivity points such that a cable length may be automatically calculated based on a calculated distance between the pair of connectivity points.
Computer vision system and method for automatic checkout
A system and method for computer vision driven applications in an environment that can include collecting image data across an environment; maintaining an environmental object graph from the image data whereby maintaining the environmental object graph is an iterative process that includes: classifying objects, tracking object locations, detecting interaction events, instantiating object associations in the environmental object graph, and updating the environmental object graph by propagating change in at least one object instance across object associations; and inspecting object state for at least one object instance in the environmental object graph and executing an action associated with the object state. The system and method can be applied to automatic checkout, inventory management, and/or other system integrations.
Methods, devices, and systems for purchasing decisions based on social collaboration
A method for purchasing based on social collaboration is provided. The method includes receiving primary customer order information and executing a collaborative pizza ordering application having an order initiation window and collaborative order window associated with at least one menu item order. The order initiation window has a list of at least one contact and at least one communication channel. The collaborative order window has a response summary of the at least one contact. The collaborative pizza ordering application is configured to: receive at least one contact selection input of the list; receive at least one communication channel selection input of the at least one communication channel; display the response summary corresponding to at least one social response from the at least one secondary customer and at least one proposed order; and communicate a social order comprising the at least one secondary customer and the at least one communication channel.
Alternative Item Booster Service
Item vectors representing transaction contexts for items are mapped to multidimensional space. A request is received for an alternative to a given item from a resource. The multidimensional space is evaluated to identify closest candidate items to the given item based on the corresponding item vectors. An optimal candidate item is selected from the candidate items based on the request. The association between the given item and the optimal candidate item is injected within a process workflow associated with the resource.
