The method further includes rendering the merchandise frame directly onto the publisher site. The method further includes rendering a universal check out frame on the publisher's site, which provides the user the ability to check out from multiple retailers within a single universal check out on a publisher's site.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to enhanced selectable item availability processing systems with improved content and configuration update capability and enhanced selectable item availability output determinations. A computing platform may receive a selectable item availability configuration output comprising a configuration update to the selectable item availability output and a selectable item availability content output comprising a content update to the selectable item availability output. Based on the selectable item availability configuration output and the selectable item availability content output, the computing platform may generate an updated selectable item availability output. The computing platform may receive a request to access the selectable item availability output. The computing platform may generate one or more commands to cause display of the updated selectable item availability output and may send, to a user device, the updated selectable item availability output along with the one or more commands.

In some implementations, a system for providing and managing associations between mobile computing device and physical shopping carts used in retail stores includes a physical shopping cart configured to transport physical goods around a store. The physical shopping cart includes a product detection system that is programmed to detect products that are placed in the physical shopping cart, a wireless transceiver to wirelessly communicate with other devices, and a cart identifier that uniquely identifies the physical shopping cart. The system further includes a mobile computing device that is programmed (i) to obtain the cart identifier for the shopping cart, (ii) to establish an association with the physical shopping cart using the cart identifier, and (iii) once the association between the physical shopping cart and the mobile computing device has been established, to output a user interface that provides a real-time summary of the products in the physical shopping cart.

An on-demand shared luggage system and method comprising collapsible luggage assets or pieces of luggage. Each luggage asset has a reprogrammable label display configured to display shipping label data for a customer order. A central processing system receives an incoming customer order to use one or more luggage assets. The central processing system determines the specific luggage asset, carrier, and route to fulfill a customer order within the customer's requested parameters. The collapsed luggage asset assigned to the customer order is then delivered to a customer receiving location by a receiving location delivery date, expanded for packing customer belongings, and then delivered to a customer destination location by a destination location delivery date. Upon completion of the customer order, the luggage asset may be immediately assigned to a new customer order, loaded with new shipping label data, and delivered directly to a new customer receiving address, as determined by the central processing system.

An indication that a user desires to handle the article may be received and an authorization of the user to handle the article may be performed. An actuator may cause the locking unit to alter from the locked state to the unlocked state, for example, based on the user being authorized to handle the article. Based on the user desiring to purchase the article, inventory information of the article may be updated by decreasing the number of articles in inventory by the article purchased. An account of the user may be charged a cost of the article. An indication may be provided to the user that the article has been purchased.

This application relates to apparatus and methods for batching orders for delivery. In some examples, a computing device may obtain order data identifying at least a first order and a second order. The computing device may determine whether the first order can be delivered to a first delivery address and the second order can be delivered to a second delivery address within a delivery time window. Based on the determination, the computing device may batch the first order and the second order to generate a batched order. In some examples, the computing device determines if the delivery vehicle can store the items for the first order and the second order to determine whether the orders may be batched. The computing device may generate assignment data identifying an assignment of the batched order to a delivery vehicle, and may transmit the assignment data to another computing device.
