REAL ESTATE FIT AND BUDGETING TOOL AND METHOD
20220138877 · 2022-05-05 ·

A system for estimating space and budgeting requirements for real estate applications provides remote access to a user over a network so the user can receive real estate space and budgeting estimate in real time through a graphical user interface. A processor receives via a graphical user interface the selected test fit parameters and the user's select property record of a subject property. The processor automatically generates a leasing cost estimate and a construction cost estimate based on the user's select test fit parameters and the user's select subject property record. The processor automatically generates a proposed layout of a floor plan based on the user's select test fit parameters and the user's select subject property record. The processor transmits the generated leasing cost estimate, the generated construction cost estimate, and the generated proposed layout of the floor plan for display in the graphical user interface.

Methods and apparatus for selling paint products in stores that traditionally do not sell paint

A sales person at a retail store which traditionally does not sell paint assists a consumer in selecting and purchasing a non-paint product and thereafter employs a computer terminal and display in conjunction with a website operated by a paint manufacturer to provide a paint color recommendation to the consumer. The sales person may thereafter respond to consumer selection of a particular paint color by employing an on-line electronic ordering tool to transmit a paint order to an order processing terminal located at a paint manufacturer facility. Thereafter, the paint manufacturer may proceed to process the order, perform tinting and shaking steps to formulate paint of the particular color, package the tinted paint, and cause the packaged paint to be shipped to the consumer.

A system and method for computer vision driven applications in an environment that can include collecting image data across an environment; maintaining an environmental object graph from the image data whereby maintaining the environmental object graph is an iterative process that includes: classifying objects, tracking object locations, detecting interaction events, instantiating object associations in the environmental object graph, and updating the environmental object graph by propagating change in at least one object instance across object associations; and inspecting object state for at least one object instance in the environmental object graph and executing an action associated with the object state. The system and method can be applied to automatic checkout, inventory management, and/or other system integrations.

LEARNING-BASED ANIMATION OF CLOTHING FOR VIRTUAL TRY-ON
20220139058 · 2022-05-05 · ·

A learning-based clothing animation method and system for highly efficient virtual try-on simulations is provided. Given a garment, the system preprocess a rich database of physically-based dressed character simulations, for multiple body shapes and animations. Then, using a database, the system trains a learning-based model of cloth drape and wrinkles, as a function of body shape and dynamics. A model according to embodiments separates global garment fit, due to body shape, from local garment wrinkles, due to both pose dynamics and body shape. A recurrent neural network is provided to regress garment wrinkles, and the system achieves highly plausible nonlinear effects, in contrast to the blending artifacts suffered by previous methods.
