Methods and systems for generating a resolved threedimensional (R3D) avatar

Disclosed is a method and system for aligning separately created 3-D mesh of a body and head of a user for resolved 3-D avatar construction, comprising the steps of: estimating frame-to-frame pixel correspondences among selected frames for each of a separately captured body and head frame for creating a 3-D mesh for each of the body and the head; aligning the body 3-D mesh with the head 3-D mesh; and applying texturing to the aligned 3-D mesh by projecting the colors frames to the mesh posed in each frame pose and averaging the textures, thereby constructing a resolved 3-D avatar of the user.

System and Method for Creating and Furnishing Digital Models of Indoor Spaces
20230044630 · 2023-02-09 · ·

Systems and methods for creating a digital model of an indoor space and virtually furnishing the digital model are described. A data collection device photographs or scans an indoor space and produces dimensional data using collected data. The system further includes a pre-processing process, a planes process, a move to origin process, and a segmentation process that analyze and process the dimensional data to create a digital model of the indoor space. The digital model is saved to a database and is viewable on a display and includes a visual scale that corresponds to the spatial dimensions of the indoor space. The system also detects objects present in the indoor space for removal from the digital model. The system also allows creation and placement of visual object representations for display in the digital model.

Automatically generating apparel collection imagery

A system automatically generates apparel collection imagery from user-provided imagery. The user-provided imagery includes images of people wearing one or more garments. The system uses segmenting analysis to analyze the user-provided image to identify locations of the garment. From the locations of the garments, the system can determine which garments from an apparel collection can be used to replace those in the user-provided imagery. The system uses pose estimation on the user-provided imagery and modifies a preview image of a replacement garment from the collection. This modified replacement garment image is used to replace the garment in the user-provided imagery.

VISION TEST AND PROVISION OF PRESCRIPTION GLASSES
20230035668 · 2023-02-02 ·

A method of providing prescription glasses to a user according to their vision prescription includes performing an eye test using a display device of a head-worn device to determine the user's vision prescription. A selection of available glasses frames are displayed on an associated portable device and user selection of a glasses frame is received using the portable device. An AR model of the selected glasses frame is displayed on an image of the user captured by a camera of the portable device. Final user selection of a glasses frame is received, and the user's vision prescription and an identifier of the finally-selected glasses frame are transmitted to at least one vendor of optical prescription services.

Placing and manipulating multiple three-dimensional (3D) models using mobile augmented reality

Techniques for placing and manipulating multiple three-dimensional (3D) models using mobile augmented reality (AR) are described. One technique includes receiving a first request to initialize an AR simulation of a first product for sale within a physical environment. In response to the first request, a first 3D model of the first product for sale is rendered onto the screen. After rendering the first 3D model, a second request to visualize a second product for sale within the physical environment is received during the AR simulation of the first product for sale. In response to the second request, a second 3D model of the second product for sale is rendered onto the screen with the first 3D model.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATIC PRODUCT CATEGORY DETECTION USING MULTIPLE MACHINE LEARNING TECHNIQUES
20230034495 · 2023-02-02 · ·

Some embodiments described herein relate to a computer-implemented method that includes receiving an indication of text content and an indication of image content appearing on a webpage that offers a product for sale. A first trained machine learning classifier can be applied to the text content to produce a first classification of the product. A second trained machine learning classifier can be applied to the image content to produce a second classification. A trained combination machine learning classifier can be applied to the first classification and the second classification. The combination machine learning classifier can be configured to predict a third class of the product. A warranty can be defined and/or offered based on the third class of the product.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FACILITATING ONLINE SEARCH BASED ON OFFLINE TRANSACTIONS

This application relates to systems and methods for facilitating online search based on offline transaction data. In some examples, a disclosed system includes a computing device that is configured to: obtain an online search request that is submitted by a user to an online retailer; generate an online search result comprising a plurality of items that match the query and are available at a first physical retail store associated with the online retailer; generate online search data based on the online search request and the online search result; obtain in-store purchase data of the user, wherein the in-store purchase data comprise at least one offline transaction initiated by the user at one or more physical retail stores associated with the online retailer for purchasing at least one item of the plurality of items within a predetermined time period after generating the online search result; generate, for the query and for each of the at least one item purchased offline, an order feedback signal by associating the in-store purchase data with the online search data; and perform an online search based on the order feedback signal, in response to the query from any user.

Method and system for online shopping for school supplies based on generic lists provided by teachers for searching and selection by users

Computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems for facilitating a customer's online purchase of school supplies listed on one or more generic teacher school supply lists using an online store's website. The computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems provide a user access to select one or more teacher's generic school supply lists from a plethora of generic school supply lists. Online retailer's products are indexed against items on the teacher's generic school supply list so that after user selection of a particular teacher's generic school list, the user is provided with one or more graphical user interfaces identifying all matching items of the retailer for a given teacher's school supply list. The customer is presented with one or more graphical user interfaces that allow the user to purchase the matching items. UPC codes can be used to index a retailer's product to a corresponding item on a teacher's generic school supply list.

Systems and/or methods for presenting dynamic content for articles of clothing

Certain example embodiments described herein relate to systems and/or methods for presenting user-interactive, dynamically-generated contextual content for individual articles of clothing. A QR or other code is provided to the article of clothing. The QR or other code is scannable by an electronic device, causing the electronic device to access a webpage or the like. The webpage (or similar information display) includes information typically found on a tag or label, together with additional dynamically-generated and organized content relevant to the article and/or person for whom the article was made. The techniques described herein are usable in connection with mass-produced, small batch/boutique items, as well as custom articles of clothing. Thus, it becomes possible to quickly and easily convey a broad scope of information about an article of clothing directly from that article of clothing, without having to include large and potentially irritating tags or labels.
