A system for incorporating a shopping cart link into a content element, the system comprising: a processing device; a touch screen; wireless network adapter; anda non-transitory, processor-readable storage medium, wherein the non-transitory, processor-readable storage medium comprises one or more programming instructions that, when executed, cause the processing device to: receive, using the touch screen, at least one touch input indicating a user request to add the shopping cart link to a content element associated with a user making the user request, the content element to be posted to one or more social networks, wherein the shopping cart link comprises a network address of a unified shopping cart associated with the user, the unified shopping cart comprising a plurality of recommended products available for purchase from a plurality of merchants, each merchant having a separate merchant web site offering for sale at least one of the plurality of products, wherein the plurality of recommended products are selected for purchase by the user from multiple merchants and placed into the unified shopping cart by the user, wherein the user is not a merchant; transmit, using the wireless network adapter, the shopping cart link to at least one server associated with the content element; and store a tracking record containing a plurality of information associated with the content element, whereby the system retrieves the tracking record to attribute referrals of the social network post correctly; further comprising one or more programming instructions that, when executed, cause the processing device to receive a budget input, wherein the budget input corresponds to a desired amount a user wishes to pay to have the shopping cart link placed in the content element; wherein the determined cost comprises at least one of an amount paid to a social networking platform provider for allowing the shopping cart link and an amount paid to a unified shopping cart provider for providing access to a unified shopping cart containing one or more products that are available for purchase from one or more merchants; wherein at least a portion of the determined cost is based upon a schedule of time the shopping cart link is to be included within the content element.

Utilizing an image recognition technique (e.g., a previously trained neural network) an object may be detected within a subset of the video frames of a scene of the video content. Metadata may be generated comprising a set of object attributes (e.g., an object image, a URL from which the item may be procured, etc.) associated with the object detected within the subset of video frames. A request for object identification may subsequently be received while a user is watching the video content. A run time of the request may be utilized to retrieve and display one or more object attributes (e.g., an object image with an embedded hyperlink) corresponding to an object appearing in the scene.

The method includes sending, by the server, a data regarding a time of availability of the CU to the user account for the reservation. Rendering of Object Data Based on Recognition and/or Location Matching

A system described herein uses data obtained from a wearable device of a first user to identify a second user and/or to determine that the first user is within a threshold distance of the second user. The system can then access an account of the second user to identify one or more items and retrieve model data for the item(s). The system causes the wearable device of the first user to render, for display in an immersive 3D environment (e.g., an augmented reality environment), an item associated with the account of the second user. The item can be rendered for display at a location on a display that is proximate to the second user (e.g., within a threshold distance of the second user) such that the item graphically corresponds to the second user. The item rendered for display may be an item of interest to the first user.
