METHODS OF CAPTURING IMAGES AND MAKING GARMENTS
This disclosure relates to better methods for making garments, for example by capturing images of a subject and making garments for that subject without requiring the subject to visit a tailor for conventional measurement with a tape measure. The disclosed methods provide a faster, easier, and more convenient way to acquire measurements. The disclosed methods also provide better fitting garments and higher customer satisfaction.
PERSONALIZED GARMENT FIT COMPARISON AND EVALUATION
Method and system for facilitating personalized garment fit evaluations over computer network, irrespective of non-uniform garment sizing options. 2D image of a selected garment offered for purchase is received. 2D image of a reference garment having preferred fit for customer and of same garment type as selected garment is received. Selected garment image and reference garment image includes a view of the selected/reference garment flattened against a surface and a measurement reference scale enabling measurement along any two image points. Selected garment and/or reference garment is transformed into a proportional image in which distances between points are presented along a common scale. Selected garment image is compared with reference garment image, and an indication of at least one fit deviation measurement of selected garment relative to reference garment is provided. A fit compatibility of selected garment may be determined and provided based on fit deviation measurement and garment fitting property.
System and Method for Part Identification Using 3D Imaging
The system and method deal with three-dimensional (3D) scanning technology which produces object representations which permit rapid, highly-accurate part identification which is not afforded by traditional two-dimensional (2D) camera imaging. The system and method are applicable to any field wherein repair/replacement parts are needed, such as the plumbing, automotive, fastener, marine, window, door, etc. fields
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FRESH ONLINE EXPERIENCE
Disclosed is a system and method for visually verifying the exact item a customer will be receiving through the online grocery pick up of a retail store. The system allows for customers to order a fresh item, such as apples, and view images of the exact fresh item online before finalizing purchase for retail store pickup. The exact fresh item is scanned using three dimensional scanning. The customer views the images and approves or rejects the exact fresh item before finalizing purchase.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING LISTING FOR ITEMS FOR SALE IN AN ELECTRONIC MARKETPLACE
A system for assisting users in listing items for sale in an electronic marketplace is disclosed. A video is received from a user device associated with a user, the video including a video stream depicting a plurality of items to be listed for sale in the electronic marketplace. Respective images depicting respective items among the plurality of items are obtained from the video stream, and respective attributes of the respective items among the plurality of items are extracted from the video. Respective listings for sale of the respective items are generated based at least in part on the respective attributes of the respective items among the plurality of items, and the respective listings for sale of the respective items are displayed to the user.
Displaying location-specific images on a mobile device
A system is provided for providing location-specific images to a mobile device for display. The system generally comprises three components: a mobile device having a screen, a position identification system (e.g., a GPS receiver) that determines the position of the mobile device, and a database containing location-specific images taken at various locations. Each location-specific image is associated with geographic coordinates of the location at which the image was taken. Based on the position of the mobile device as determined by the position identification system, a location-specific image is selected from the database and displayed on the screen of the mobile device. For example, when a user is using the mobile device as a car navigation system, a location-specific image of the user's destination location can be selected and displayed when the determined position of the mobile device comes within a certain distance from the geographic coordinates of the destination location.
TIERED IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES
Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to tiered immersive experiences for bimodal avatar groups. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a virtual assistant (“VA”) can be executed by a user device. The VA can obtain a preference for an immersive experience. The VA can generate a search request directed to an immersive experience marketplace. The search request can include the preference and a tier desired for the immersive experience. The user device can send the search request to the immersive experience marketplace, and in response, the user device can receive a search result that identifies at least one match for the immersive experience based, at least in part, upon the preference and the tier.
PRODUCT DETECTION ON MERCHANT WEBSITES
Methods and systems are presented for enhancing a merchant product webpage by providing additional content associated with a product being displayed on the merchant product webpage. A product catalog stores product records corresponding to data associated with different products. As a webpage is accessed by a user device, data is extracted from the merchant product webpage. The extracted data is used to identify one or more product records in the product catalog that are potential matches to the webpage. When multiple product records are identified, a remote server is used to access and interact with the webpage separate from the user device. Additional data is extracted from the webpage based on interactions by the remote server with the webpage. The additional data is used to determine a single product record for the webpage. The webpage is modified based on the single product record.
DIGITAL IMAGING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTING USER-SPECIFIC APPAREL FIT
Digital imaging systems and methods are disclosed for detecting user-specific apparel fit. Digital image(s) of a user are obtained that depict one or more portions of the user's body. Apparel fit information is obtained specific to the user. An apparel fit application (app) determines user-specific measurements of one or more portions of the user's body based on the digital image(s). The apparel fit app determines a user-specific fit-based confidence interval for the user based on the user-specific measurements and the apparel fit information. A fit based identification of an apparel item is generated that corresponds to the user-specific fit-based confidence interval.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR UTILIZING AUGMENTED REALITY AND VOICE COMMANDS TO CAPTURE AND DISPLAY PRODUCT INFORMATION
A user device may receive, from a server device, a three-dimensional model of a product, and may display the three-dimensional model of the product, with a product review option, in an augmented reality user interface. The user device may display a product feature review panel, product review features, and product feature hotspots, with the three-dimensional model in the augmented reality user interface, based on selection of the product review option. The user device may receive a review of a product feature, via one of the product feature hotspots associated with the product feature and provided in the augmented reality user interface, and may submit the review of the product feature to the server device.
