ATTRIBUTION RULE CONTROLS WITH PAGE CONTENT PREVIEW
A computer-implemented method includes providing a user interface that allows selection of a product attribute and in the alternative allows selection of a previously defined rule. When a product attribute is selected in the user interface, a rule under construction that describes what products are to appear on a retail webpage is altered based on the selected product attribute. When a previously-defined rule is selected in the user interface, the rule under construction is modified so that the rule under construction uses the selected rule.
Systems and methods for generating augmented reality scenes for physical items
Systems and methods are provided for the generation of augmented reality (AR) scenery for a physical item. The AR scenery allows a customer to interact with the physical item in the real-world, while also allowing the customer to view the physical item in a virtual setting that may be tailored to the customer and/or to the physical item. According to an embodiment, an AR scene is generated for a physical item. The AR scene includes computer-generated scenery and at least a portion of an image of the physical item, where the computer-generated scenery is based on information associated with the user and/or the physical item. The AR scene is then displayed on a device.
Computer-implemented methods of completing an online transaction that is performed via a user computing device and a merchant website running on a merchant computing device
An online transaction with a merchant website is initiated and completed via a single input action by a user. An online transaction application retrieves a first portion of user credit card information from a first storage location and a second portion of the user credit card information from a second storage location, decrypts the first portion with a first decryption key and the second portion with a second decryption key, encrypts and temporarily stores the complete user credit card information, and publishes an order associated with user order information to a pub/sub message bus. In response to the order being published, a headless browser that is connected to the merchant website retrieves and decrypts the unified user credit card information; completes the merchant checkout process; and deletes, erases, or otherwise removes the temporarily stored complete credit card information.
Faceted item recommendation system
Methods and systems for generating and presenting item recommendations to a user at a retail website is disclosed. One method includes generating a set of item recommendations based on a selected item from a retail website. The method also includes identifying one or more facets in the set of item recommendations, and, for each of the one or more facets, identifying a subset of items from the set of item recommendations affiliated with the facet. The method also includes generating a user interface including the selected item and a recommendation region displaying at least some of the subset of items affiliated with the facet.
Computer implemented methods for generating 3D garment models
The invention relates to a first computer implemented method for automatically generating a first 3D garment model representing a first garment to be fabricated from first garment panels, a second computer implemented method for virtually finishing a second 3D garment model representing a second garment to be fabricated without finishes or with default finishes, and a third computer implemented method for automatically generating a plurality of third 3D garment models in a batch process, each third 3D garment model representing a third garment to be fabricated from third garment panels.
Virtual try-on systems for spectacles using reference frames
A method for virtual try-on of user-wearable items is provided. The method includes capturing, in a client device, a first image of a user, the first image including a reference token for a user-wearable item and displaying, in the client device, images of multiple user-wearable items for the user, receiving an input from the user, the input indicative of a selected user-wearable item from the user-wearable items on display. The method also includes segmenting the first image to separate the reference token from a background comprising a portion of a physiognomy of the user, replacing a segment of the reference token in the first image with an image of the selected user-wearable item in a second image of the user, and displaying, in the client device, the second image of the user.
On-line savings account
An on-line savings page for managing a savings account includes a list of items the user is saving for, where each item has a specified priority. A savings rate for each item is determined by the savings account based on the priority and total savings rate. The user is notified of any changes in the savings account, such as price changes, inventory changes, etc., as well as relevant information related to the item, such as sales, offers, recalls, etc.
Presenting building information using building models
Techniques are described for using computing devices to perform automated operations related to providing visual information of multiple types in an integrated manner about a building or other defined area. The techniques may include generating and presenting a GUI (graphical user interface) on a client device that includes a computer model of the building's interior with one or more first types of information (e.g., in a first pane of the GUI), and simultaneously presenting other types of related information about the building interior (e.g., in additional separate GUI pane(s)) that is coordinated with the first type(s) of information being currently displayed. The computer model may be a 3D (three-dimensional) or 2.5D representation generated after the house is built and showing the actual house's interior (e.g., walls, furniture, etc.), and may be displayed to a user of a client computing device in a displayed GUI with various user-selectable controls.
Controlling AR games on fashion items
Methods and systems are disclosed for performing operations comprising: receiving an image that includes a depiction of a person wearing a fashion item; generating a segmentation of the fashion item worn by the person depicted in the image; generating one or more game-based augmented reality elements; and applying the one or more game-based augmented reality elements to the fashion item worn by the person based on the segmentation of the fashion item worn by the person.
Optimizing diversity and relevance for catalog items
Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for optimizing diversity and relevance for catalog items are disclosed. Respective target metrics are determined for a plurality of categories comprising a plurality of items in an electronic catalog. First and second categories comprise first and second subsets of the plurality of items, and the respective target metric for the first category is determined using aggregation of individual target metrics for the first subset. Respective similarity scores are determined between pairs of the categories. N item categories are selected from the plurality of categories based at least in part on the respective target metrics and based at least in part on the respective similarity scores. A third subset of the plurality of items is selected from across the N item categories, including the first and second categories. The selected items optimize both category diversity and item relevance.
