Collaborative data based device maintenance
09746998 · 2017-08-29 · ·

Systems and methods for collaborative data based device maintenance are provided. In example embodiments, an indication of a malfunction of a user product of a user is received. In response to receiving the indication of the malfunction, a component of the user product corresponding to the malfunction is identified. User data of another user that includes data associated with the user product is accessed. An item listing associated with the component is identified based, in part, on the user data of another user. User data of the user is accessed . An order parameter for an order corresponding to the item listing is determined based on the user data of the user and the another user. A recommendation to place the order corresponding to the item listing using the determined order parameter is presented.

Generating category layouts based on query fingerprints

A method and system for analyzing user behavior as users search for items within an electronic marketplace is provided. A query is submitted by a user of the electronic marketplace, the query is processed to identify a series of actions or behaviors performed by the user in relation to the query and fingerprint information for the query is determined based at least in part on analyzing the actions. In one embodiment, the electronic marketplace modifies a user experience for the user based on the fingerprint information. An interactive network region comprising search results related to a query issued by a user is generated, based on fingerprint information. Various categories of items related to a query issued by the user are identified based on fingerprint information and the search results are organized based on categories.

Collaborative virtual reality computing system

A method comprises a computer-implemented virtual reality (VR) system connecting VR devices in a collaborative VR session. The VR devices are associated with participants in a collaborative activity to perform an ordered procedure directed to a real-world assembly. The VR system receives session inputs from VR devices associated with the participants. The session inputs correspond to actions of the participants to modify a virtual object included in a VR expression of the VR session. The virtual object corresponds to the real-world assembly. In response to the session inputs, the VR system performs a transaction directed to the virtual object, which produces modifications of the real-world assembly corresponding to the modifications of the virtual object. A collaborative VR system can comprise a VR server and VR devices configured to perform the method. A computer program product can instruct processors of a VR system to perform the method.

Method, system, and manufacture for personalized vehicle matching based upon user preferences

Systems and methods for guided vehicle matching are disclosed. In order to generate vehicle recommendations for a user of an electronic vehicle listing service, a plurality of vehicle-related lifestyle options are presented to the user, and a user selection received. Additional data regarding the user's vehicle preferences, requirements, or usage may be obtained. Based upon such information, a set of example vehicles is generated and presented to the user. Each example vehicle has characteristics representing a plurality of other vehicles. Based upon user ratings or selections of at least some of the example vehicles, a plurality of vehicle recommendations for specific available vehicles are generated and presented to the user. In some embodiments, further user interaction with such recommendations is used to refine the vehicle recommendations and identify additional vehicle recommendations.

Merged reality spatial streaming of virtual spaces

A merged reality system comprises at least one server storing a virtual world system comprising one or more virtual objects, the virtual objects including virtual replicas of at least a first location, a second location, and real world elements in the at least first and second locations. The at least one server is configured to receive, from a plurality of connected devices communicating with the at least one server through a network, real-world data from real-world elements in the first and second locations; use the real-world data from the first and second locations in the virtual world system to enrich and synchronize the virtual replicas with corresponding real-world elements; and overlap and stream at least one portion of the real-world data from the second location onto, e.g., one or more surfaces of the virtual replica of the first location.

Remote determination of a suitable item

Methods, systems and computer program products for remotely determining a suitable item are provided. Aspects include registering a plurality of Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices. Aspects also include receiving sensor data from the plurality of IoT devices. The sensor data is associated with a plurality of owned objects in a vicinity of the plurality of IoT devices. Aspects also include creating an owned object registry based on the sensor data. The owned object registry includes physical attributes of each of the plurality of owned objects. Aspects also include determining an object of interest based on monitoring of a user's interactions with a website. Aspects also include determining a degree of suitability between the object of interest and one or more of the plurality of owned objects based on the owned object registry. Aspects also include transmitting a notification of the degree of suitability to a user device for display.

AUTOMATED PRODUCT PERSONALIZATION BASED ON MULITPLE SOURCES OF PRODUCT INFORMATION

In an approach to customer-product matching, a computing device receives textual information related to a product. The computing device generates a set of product personality traits based on analyzing the textual information by a natural language processor. The computing device identifies a set of customer personality traits for a target customer group. The computing device determines whether a degree of correlation between a first trait from the set of product personality traits and a second trait from the set of customer personality traits meets or exceeds a predetermined threshold value. Responsive to determining that the degree of correlation does not meet or exceed a predetermined threshold value, the computing device revises the textual information based on a psycholinguistic dictionary. The computing device continues to revise the set of product personality traits until the degree of correlation meets or exceeds the predetermined threshold value.

System and methods for pre-populating service data indication on user interface

A method for generating graphic display interface, comprising: receiving an request to generate a graphic display interface comprising at least a client ID; generating a plurality of graphic data structures based on at least one of the request or a priority list, each of the graphic data structures corresponding to a identifier; associating for each of the graphic data structures, an item graphic; tagging each of the graphic data structures with one or more tags, the tagging comprises: determine that the client ID matches at least one member ID; and determine, for each of the graphic data structures, that the associated identifier has a first status, and tagging the graphic data structures with a first tag upon the determination; and associating for each of the graphic data structures based on the associated tags, one of a plurality of service graphics; and generating instruction for the graphic display interface.

Computer-implemented method and system for auto-generation of multi-merchant interactive image collection

Auto-generation of multi-merchant interactive image collections is described. A plurality of interactive images associated with multiple merchants can be accessed. An interactive image of the plurality of interactive images can depict one or more items offered for sale by a merchant and individual items of the one or more items can be associated with individual selectable controls. A selectable control can enable a customer to view item information associated with an individual item with which the selectable control is associated. A subset of interactive images of the plurality of interactive images can be included in an interactive image collection. The subset of interactive images can be associated with two or more merchants. The subset of interactive images can be presented via a display of a device to enable the customer to add at least the individual item to a virtual cart via an interaction with the selectable control.
