Methods and systems generate and project an actual sized image of an object. An object or a representation of an object may be pre-processed. The pre-processing of a representation of the object may include determining pixels that belong to the object and pixels that belong to a background of the image. The pre-processing may include calculating a bounding box for the object. The projection may include determining an area of projection suitable for the bounding box of the object. The projection may further include projecting an image of intermediate dimensions. The projection may further include up-sampling or down-sampling the image to an actual size. The projection of the actual sized image may be made interactive by rendering at least one additional view of the object.

A system of food and/or beverage preparation comprises a base station which is configured to down-link signals representative of items available for consumption from a venue, and a user interfacing network unit which is configured to display selectable options representative of food and/or beverage items and which is configured to allow a user to input selections from the items, the inputted selections being up-linked in the form of representative signals to the base station, the base station being further configured to communicate signals representative of the selections to a preparation station, wherein the base station comprises a filtration module which is configured to exclude a selection of down-link signals in response to a user input; whereby the down-link signals are reduced in accordance with the selection and thereby leading to a reduction of displayed selectable options.

The present invention is directed to providing at least one item recommendation within a computer-implemented curation service-based framework. The item recommendations are curated for a subject client and are of at least one size that suits an item of interest of the subject client for which a plurality of sizes is available. The subject client belongs to at least one group of subject clients. The group of subject clients is part of a plurality of groups of subject clients. Such item recommendations are caused to be presented to the subject client based on client specified data or client preferred data, item properties data corresponding to the item of interest of the subject client, and expert judgement data associated with any one or more of approval, rejection, and modification data from an expert in the field under which said item of interest of the subject client falls. The client may also approve item one or more item recommendations based on relevant information presented to him or her via a client computing device.

Provided is a surveillance planning device configured to generate a checklist with respect to a region based on spatial information and object information of the region, obtain device installation condition information based on a user response to the checklist, and recommend, to a user, a list of devices to be installed in the region and an installation location of the devices based on the spatial information, the object information, and the device installation condition information.

Systems and methods for displaying 3D containers in a computer generated environment are described. A computing device may provide a user with a catalog of objects which may be purchased. In order to view what an object may look like prior to purchasing the object, a computing device may show a 3D container that has the same dimensions as the object. As discussed herein, the 3D container may be located and oriented based on a two-dimensional marker. Moreover, some 3D containers may contain a representation of an object, which may be a 2D image of the object.

Various embodiments improve existing technologies by generating one or more user interface elements or personalized pages based on determining that a set of inventory items are within a geographical vicinity (e.g., a threshold distance) of a user. In response to a determination that a particular item is within a geographical vicinity of a user, some embodiments cause display of a page (e.g., a personalized page) that identifies item and/or other information, such as an identity and address of the local retailers that offer the item for sale. Such functionality can be integrated with additional functionality, such as electronic marketplace searches and item listings, and local delivery service requests, among other things.

Real time item listing modification is described. A listing modification system receives, via a real time communication protocol from a client device, user interaction data that describes an item listing of a network-based commerce system currently being accessed at the client device. The user interaction data further describes an identity of a user of the client device and a manner in which the user of the client device interacts with the item listing. A modification user interface is generated for output at a different computing device and configured to present the user interaction data together with controls that are selectable to cause modification of the item listing output to the client device. The modified item listing is selectively output to only the client device, such that other computing devices simultaneously accessing the item listing are not updated to display the modified item listing.

An information processing apparatus includes a processing circuit. The processing circuit has programmed instructions to acquire a first number of commodities specified to be purchased based on first data acquired by a first sensor, acquire a second number of commodities stored in a storing body that stores commodities to be purchased based on second data acquired by a second sensor, compare the first number of commodities with the second number of commodities, and provide a notification to a display device in response to the first number of commodities being different that the second number of commodities.

Systems and methods for identifying, interacting with, and purchasing items of interest in video content. A plurality of video image frames are provided to a user, and a selection of one of the image frames is received and displayed. One or more selectable visual indicators are displayed on the selected image frame, with at least one of the visual indicators being associated with a product or service shown in the image frame. The user can select one of the visual indicators to be directed to information about the product or service, including where the product or service can be purchased.
