In various example embodiments, a system and method for modifying publications of a network-based publication system are presented. The system receives a set of body coordinates from a client device and associates the set of body coordinates with a user account. The system identifies a set of clothing images within a set of publications retrieved as a result of a query. The system generates a set of modified clothing images from one or more images of the set of clothing images and causes presentation of the set of modified clothing images at the client device.

Disclosed is a display apparatus including a display, a communicator comprising communication circuitry configured to communicate with an external apparatus, input circuitry configured to receive an input; and a controller configured to control a display to display an image based on a received broadcast signal, to generate a shopping list including information about selected goods based on an input selecting goods in the image displayed based on the broadcast signal, and to control the communicator to send the external apparatus detailed information about at least one of the goods included in the shopping list, the information including corresponding state information if the state information is received from the external apparatus. Thus a user may select goods in a TV program and be provided a shopping list including detailed information of selected goods.

An engagement by a user with respect to an interactive component is detected. The interactive component is embedded in a first display area of an electronic device. The first display area displays a plurality of fields of an online merchant checkout page. A second display area is launched in response to the detected engagement of the interactive component. The second display area contains information with respect to a payment provider. User input is received via the second display area. The user input contains information regarding an account that the user has with the payment provider. The user is authenticated based on the user input. User account information pertaining to the payment provider is accessed. At least a portion of the user account information is tokenized. At least one of the fields of the online merchant checkout page is automatically populated with the tokenized portion of the user account information.

This disclosure is directed to a control system for user apparel selection. A system may comprise a control device to receive information from at least one sensor in an environment where apparel selection may commonly take place (e.g., closet). The control device may include communication circuitry, user interface circuitry, closet controller circuitry, etc. to receive user sensor data and apparel sensor data from the at least one sensor. Some or all of this data may be provided to at least one external resource such as, for example, an apparel designer, an apparel manufacturer, a feedback accumulation website, etc., to elicit at least styling data. Apparel control logic within the device may utilize the above data along with context data that describes, for example, the event for which the apparel is required, environmental data (e.g., weather), etc. to disposition apparel, suggest at least one piece of apparel to the person, etc.

A distributed tool virtual marketplace may offer end users the ability to acquire tools that are compatible with an enterprise operating system platform. The virtual marketplace may determine one or more tools that are implemented on the enterprise operating system platform. The enterprise operating system platform may be provided to the end user by an operator of the marketplace. The tools including a tool that may be used for evaluating a performance of an entity. The virtual marketplace may further ascertain data that are processed or generated by the tools that are implemented on the enterprise operating system platform. The virtual marketplace may additionally determine functionalities that are used or provided by the tools. Accordingly, the distributed tool virtual marketplace may provide a recommendation of associated tools from the distributed tool virtual marketplace that have at least one dependency relationship with the tools.

A system includes a content generation subsystem that features a playlist controller and multimedia service logic. The playlist controller is configured to generate a presentation playlist that controls retrieval and playback of audio clips along displayable images. The multimedia service logic, in response to receiving at least a vehicle identification number from the playlist controller, (i) automatically determines vehicle option codes associated with the vehicle, each vehicle option code identifies an option installed on the vehicle; (ii) automatically translate the vehicle option codes into information that is used in recovery of a plurality of text descriptions directed to features of the vehicle, and (iii) automatically determine the a plurality of audio clip links corresponding to the plurality of text descriptions that are used in the formation of the playlist. The second plurality of audio clip links is greater in number than the first plurality of audio clip links.

Systems, methods, and computer program products for processing an online transaction to purchase a set of products. An On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) system includes a plurality of databases, each maintaining rules for determining a merchant at a different analytical level. To process the online transaction, the OLTP system searches a global rules database for rules defining the merchant at a transaction level, and a product rules database for rules defining the merchant at a product level. The OLTP system applies the rules returned by each database to the products to determine a baseline merchant assignment for each product. The OLTP system may then search an override rules database for applicable merchant override rules, and applies the override rules to the products. When a final merchant has been determined for each product, the OLTP system updates a database record defining the set of products to indicate the merchant for each product.

A business method for facilitating a buyer-pushed sales transaction and associated technological systems and computer-implemented methods are disclosed. One method includes rendering a first image of a physical environment in a client application, accepting a navigation command via the client application, and rendering, in response to the navigation command, a second image of the environment. At least two items of physical merchandise are visible in the second image. The method also comprises accepting a selection of a location on the second image. The method also comprises storing a set of coordinates in response to the selection. The method also comprises accepting a bid, and storing a bid package in a memory. The bid package includes and associates: (i) the bid; (ii) the set of coordinates; and (iii) a user identifier. The bid is for one of items of merchandise.

Embodiments described herein relate to a universal vending machine closed-loop sales optimization device. The vending machine device may be configured to be installed within a vending machine, and be communicatively coupled with a vending machine controller. The vending machine device may be configured to receive data and transmit data.

Embodiments provide a computer-executed method, a computer system and computer program product for initiating a command. The method includes causing a consumer input definition interface to be displayed on a visual display of a computing device associated with a consumer, wherein the consumer input definition interface includes an indication of a command. The method also includes, while the consumer input definition interface is displayed, receiving input definition data defining a consumer interaction by the consumer. The method also includes generating a compound consumer input based on the input definition data, and associating the compound consumer input with the command and the consumer. The method further includes storing the association between the compound consumer input and the command on a non-transitory storage device so that receipt of the compound consumer input from the consumer automatically initiates the command.
