Computer vision and image characteristic search is described. The described system leverages visual search techniques by determining visual characteristics of objects depicted in images and comparing the determined characteristics to visual characteristics of other images, e.g., to identify similar visual characteristics in the other images. In some aspects, the described system performs searches that leverage a digital image as part of a search query to locate digital content of interest. In some aspects, the described system surfaces multiple user interface instrumentalities that include images of patterns, textures, or materials and that are selectable to initiate a visual search of digital content having a similar pattern, texture, or material. The described aspects also include pattern-based authentication in which the system determines authenticity of an item in an image based on a similarity of its visual characteristics to visual characteristics of known authentic items.
RETAIL WEBSITE USER INTERFACE, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR DISPLAYING TRENDING LOOKS
A system including a graphical user interface (GUI) displayed on a display device is disclosed. The GUI includes a plurality of images displayed on the display device, each image being of a look that is determined to be trending within a previous time period; and each image is displayed as taken by a photographer and posting on a social network.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PEER VIRTUAL FITTING
In a multimedia device, a method, apparatus, and system for image processing and virtual outfitting experience(s) sharing, where in provider(s) and user(s) are associated in like-mind groups, offering and sharing their virtual fitting image(s), setting(s), component(s) and/or experience(s), based on their personal preference(s) and/or style(s); means for said system to process image(s) and simultaneously virtual outfit a plurality of users in group(s) at the same time; means for said system to facilitate said sharing in a continuous way through data, image and/or multimedia information data feeds; and means for said system to organize, manage and maintain a plurality of said virtual outfitting item(s), image(s), data, provider(s), user(s), group(s), relationship(s) and/or etc., as a self-sustaining peer virtual outfitting community.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A REAL-TIME EGOCENTRIC COLLABORATIVE FILTER ON LARGE DATASETS
One embodiment of the present invention provides a system for generating a product recommendation. During operation, the system obtains data indicating vertices and edges of a graph. The vertices represent consumers and products and an edge represents an access relationship. The system may receive a query indicating an ego for determining a product recommendation. The system may then traverse the graph from a vertex representing the ego through a plurality of edges to a plurality of vertices representing products. The system may traverse the graph from the plurality of vertices representing products to a plurality of vertices representing other consumers. The system may then traverse the graph from the plurality of vertices representing other consumers to a plurality of vertices representing other products. The system may generate a recommendation that based on the plurality of vertices representing other products.
3-D immersion technology in a virtual store
A system creates an enhanced virtual shopping experience, and includes means for generating a 3-D mesh model of a person's body contours; means for digitizing the three-dimensional shape of a piece of clothing when worn by the correspondingly sized body; means for measuring surface friction and intensity/frequency of vibrations produced during sliding tactile contact with the material of the clothing, for digitally approximating a material's texture; and a means for obtaining three dimensional visual images of the interior of a store. A 3-D headset is configured to receive the three-dimensional visualization of the store interior, and provide it to a person that may also wear a wired glove and body suit configured to provide tactile feedback or feedback through the use of electrodes. A software algorithm digitally inserts the person's mesh model into the three-dimensional store visualization, and allows manipulation of it therein, including realistic simulated contact of objects therein using reverse-electro-vibrations sent to the body suit.
Learning-based animation of clothing for virtual try-on
A learning-based clothing animation method and system for highly efficient virtual try-on simulations is provided. Given a garment, the system preprocess a rich database of physically-based dressed character simulations, for multiple body shapes and animations. Then, using a database, the system trains a learning-based model of cloth drape and wrinkles, as a function of body shape and dynamics. A model according to embodiments separates global garment fit, due to body shape, from local garment wrinkles, due to both pose dynamics and body shape. A recurrent neural network is provided to regress garment wrinkles, and the system achieves highly plausible nonlinear effects, in contrast to the blending artifacts suffered by previous methods.
Mobile device keyboard integrated sales platform
There is disclosed a mobile device integrated keyboard sales platform that enables a potential seller or shopkeeper to complete a sale, including transmission of product information, generation of a purchase order form, generation of a delivery information form, and receipt of payment all using an alternative keyboard installed on a mobile device. Every aspect of the process may be completed reliant upon the alternative keyboard, rather than a stand-alone application or multiple stand-alone applications, and may take place in any chat application or multiple chat applications or in a special purpose sales chat application.
Prompting web-based user interaction
Methods, systems and computer program products for prompting web-based user interaction are provided. Aspects include determining a plurality of items of interest based on data associated with a user. Aspects also include associating an emotion with each item of the plurality of items of interest. Aspects also include associating an emotion with each digital media clip of a plurality of digital media clips. Responsive to detecting an internet browsing action performed by the user, aspects include displaying a selected digital media clip of the plurality of digital media clips and a selected item of interest of the plurality of items of interest. The selected digital media clip and the selected item of interest are associated with a same emotion.
System and method for dynamically updating a travel itinerary
A system and method for dynamically updating a travel itinerary are described herein. The system 101 receives, user inputs for selecting items. The system 101 creates electronic carts based on the user inputs. Each electronic cart is associated with an unique identifier. Each electronic cart comprises items. The system 101 invokes, a rendering module for positioning the electronic carts on a GUI based on user defined time and date. The system 101 generates one or more events. Each event comprises items associated with electronic carts. The system 101 displays events on the GUI using the rendering module. The system 101 enables a user to perform a task selected from a group of tasks based on the unique identifiers associated with electronic carts. Further, the system 101 dynamically updates one or more items associated with the at least one electronic cart based on impact of the task.
Systems and methods of generating photorealistic garment transference in images
Systems and methods are provided for determining a first semantic segmentation image of a first image, wherein the first image includes at least a portion of a person wearing a first fashion item. A plurality of keypoints of the person's body may be determined in the first image. Using the determined first semantic segmentation image, the determined keypoints, and a second image that includes a second fashion item, a second semantic segmentation image of the person in the first image with the second fashion item of the second image may be generated. The first image may be masked to occlude pixels of the first fashion item that is to be replaced with the second fashion item. Using the masked first image, the second semantic segmentation image, and the second image that includes the second fashion item, a third image may be generated that includes the person with the second fashion item.
