System and method for automated generation of textual description of a vehicle
A system for automatically generating textual information describing a vehicle being advertised for purchase is disclosed. The system comprises a processor and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, the memory including: a vehicle identification number (VIN) decoder logic to decode a VIN to determine a vehicle represented by the VIN, a feature determination logic configured to determine a normalized list of features associated with the vehicle, and a vehicle text generation logic configured to generate textual information describing the vehicle. The memory further includes a feature prioritization logic configured to perform prioritization operations to determine priority values associated with one or more features of the normalized list of features. In some instances, decoding the VIN includes (i) determining attributes of the vehicle including make, model and year, and (ii) retrieving vehicle option codes from a first data store, wherein the vehicle option codes are associated with the VIN.
Method, computer program product, and apparatus for workspace recommendations based on prior user ratings and similar selections
Techniques are provided for generating workspace recommendations based on prior user ratings of selected workspaces, as well as other similar selections. One method comprises obtaining user workspace ratings provided by a user; calculating a first workspace recommendation score for workspaces that the user previously rated based on the obtained user workspaces ratings; calculating a second workspace recommendation score for additional workspaces that are: (i) similar to workspaces previously rated by the user based on a predefined workspace similarity metric, and/or (ii) selected by similar users, based on a predefined user similarity metric; and recommending workspaces for the user based on the first workspace recommendation score and the second workspace recommendation score. The first workspace recommendation score can be further based on a number of times the user selected a given workspace, an average number of times the user selected different workspaces, and/or an average score that the user previously assigned the given workspace.
Retail and advertising domain collaboration
Described herein is a system and techniques for implementing a system that enables exchange of user information between retail and advertising domains while maintaining data security and privacy requirements. In some embodiments, a landing page is generated in response to a user interaction with a user interface element. The landing page is generated within the retail domain while the advertisement is in an advertising domain. The landing page, while in the retail domain, can access stored user information from the retail website and pre-fill forms of the landing page which a user can verify and submit to the advertising, thereby sharing the user information into the advertising domain.
System and method for providing indicia to filtered search results to indicate applied filters
A user device such as a tablet may present search results. Filters may be applied to filter the search results. The filtered search results may include indicia that identify that the filtered search results have been filtered and that individual items within the filtered search results correspond to the applied filter. The indicia may fade out over time as the applied filter expires. The filtered search results may also include the individual items that do not correspond to the applied filter. These individual items may have different indicia applied to them, so as to differentiate them from individual items that do correspond to the applied filter. By providing the indicia, a user is provided with a visual confirmation that the search results have been filtered, what filter has been applied, and a differentiation between the individual items that do and do not correspond with the applied filter.
Paint procurement system and method
A method of establishing a paint color to be displayed by a procurement system based on information received from an external punchout site. A formula corresponding to a desired paint color selected by a customer that is not included in a color palate of predefined colors regularly available for purchase from a paint supplier is received. Based on the formula, a standardized color value within a color gamut of the electronic display device is generated for the desired paint color. The standardized color value is stored in a network-accessible database entry specific to the customer to be retrievable by the customer over a communication network for generating a preview of the desired paint color during a subsequent purchase of paint having the desired paint color by the customer over the communication network.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING RECOMMENDATIONS DURING IMAGE CAPTURE OF A PRODUCT
A system and method for generating recommendations during image capture are provided. The method comprises obtaining a camera live stream from a camera in a user device, the camera live stream including image data of a particular product; determining one or more baseline image features common to images of one or more products of a collection based at least on image analysis of image data of the images of the one or more products of the collection; comparing the one or more baseline image features to one or more image features of the image data of the particular product to generate one or more recommendations; and generating, for display together with the camera live stream on the user device, the one or more recommendations.
BLOCKCHAIN-BASED PRODUCT AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM
Methods and systems are presented for providing instant authentication of a product and enhanced user experience with the product via blockchain technologies. A product verification system uses blockchain technologies to track the supply chain process of each instance (e.g., each copy) of a product. Upon receiving a request for authenticating an item, a code provided with the item is scanned. A token corresponding to an instance of a product is determined based on the code. The product verification system traverses a blockchain to access data associated with the token. The item is authenticated based on the data. Additional content provided by the supply chain and/or the manufacturer of the instance of the product may be presented on a user device in response to authenticating the item.
CONFIGURATION ATELIER TABLE FOR INTERACTIVE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
A configuration atelier table with a display screen and a tile interface and related systems and methods for interactive product configuration. One or more of a plurality of tiles comprising a material sample for a component of the product and a tile ID is placed upon and scanned by the tile interface. The tile ID is mapped to a configuration code and sent to a configurator. The configurator receives one or more configuration codes and generates a representation of a final product incorporating design choices represented by the one or more configuration codes.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VERIFYING VEHICLE IMAGE ALTERATION
A computerized exchange network enables verifying vehicle image alterations, such as altering images to remove objects from a background or to include indicia, for example. In some embodiments, a system for verifying image alterations is configured to acquire an image, alter the image, add the image to a website, and record the alteration and adding. In other embodiments, a method for verifying image alterations involves acquiring an image, generating an altered image, adding the image to a website, and recording the alteration and adding.
Prioritizing shelf-oriented tasks
A system for automatically addressing detected conditions within the retail store is provided. The system may include at least one processor configured to receive a plurality of images depicting a plurality of products displayed on a plurality of store shelves; retrieve reference data specifying a desired state of the retail store; use the reference data to detect an indicator of a first service-improvement condition; use the reference data to detect an indicator of a second service-improvement; determine a first product-related task for addressing the first service-improvement condition; determine a second product-related task for addressing the second service-improvement condition; access a database storing information indicative of a first employee and a second employee on duty during a time interval over which the plurality of images was received; and assign the first product-related task to the first employee and assign the second product-related task to the second employee.
