Teaching method system for connecting and applying research needs with a teaching method
This invention innovates an integrated instructional educational methodology called (A.sup.n).sub.x-to-One training model to students both in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) or other fields of education and in leadership development into one professional integrated training program. The system has testimonial feedbacks for effective and positive results when providing training for a wide range of students from children to adults. Examples of the present educational model can be particularly useful for high school students, undergraduate students who are learning STEM, and in interaction with formal working employees through the system's integration of many kinds of events and social activities. The system uses formation of an advisor team and labs to enhance leadership training as well as a follow up service which provides support to students.
Peer-to-Peer Tutoring
A system to match students with tutors in a closed network includes: an electronic communications network, a school domain accessible via the electronic communications network, and a peer-to-peer tutoring application.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR SELECTING AT LEAST ONE PREFERRED EDUCATION INSTITUTION
a system and method for providing students with a best college fit by considering and weighting data and metadata provided by students and/or parents, subject matter experts, and third-party (or open source) data bases. Further, the disclosed invention allows students to act as their own oracles updating the best college fit as data is improved.
INTEGRATED OBJECT-CENTRIC SERVICE DELIVERY SYSTEM (OSDS) CONTAINERS
A method, system and computer-usable medium are presented for creating integrated object-centric service delivery system (OSDS) containers. The method includes creating a plurality of OSDS containers. An OSDS container corresponds to a financial asset and includes a financial asset value, a plurality of attributes and a set of rules. The financial asset is required to comply with the set of rules. The method further includes determining one or more OSDS containers that match a request for a financial aid and generating the integrated OSDS container from one or more OSDS containers. The integrated OSDS container is configured to service the request for the financial aid. The integrated OSDS container includes a financial aid value, and a set of rules for utilizing the financial aid.
METHOD FOR OBJECT-CENTRIC SERVICE DELIVERY
A method, system and computer-usable medium for object-centric service delivery are presented. The method includes determining an individualized information of an object and sending the individualized information of the object to an object-centric service delivery system (OSDS). The method includes, creating a request for a financial aid and sending the request to the OSDS. The request including an intended use of the financial aid and a financial aid value. The method further includes receiving an integrated OSDS container. The OSDS container including a financial aid value and a set of rules for utilizing the financial aid. The set of rules for utilizing the financial aid are based on set of rules of one or more OSDS containers. Thereafter, the method includes receiving recommendation of one or more service actions, wherein the one or more service actions facilitate the object in attaining the desired state.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING AN EDUCATIONAL STUDY PATH
A system and method for optimizing a study path based on at least one goal are presented. The method includes receiving the at least one goal and at least one constraint; generating a plurality of potential study paths based on a plurality of courses that are required for the at least one goal and the at least one constraint; determining an optimal study path based on the plurality of potential study paths, the at least one goal, and the at least one constraint, wherein the optimal study path satisfies the at least one constraint, the optimal study path is a combination of courses and their order during a plurality of study terms; and generating at least one optimal schedule based on the optimal study path.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AIDING HIGHER EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION USING MACHINE LEARNING MODELS
Systems and methods applicable, for instance, to using machine learning models to aid higher education administration. Various machine learning model-based tools can be provided. Further provided can be various infrastructure software modules.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTI-INSTITUTIONAL OPTIMIZATION FOR A CANDIDATE APPLICATION SYSTEM
A system and/or method can be provided for optimizing data-sharing in a multi-institutional application system using, where appropriate, semi-blind data-viewing in a semi-cooperative context. A method for evaluating agent quality, individual student success probability, and sharing these evaluations among a plurality of applicants to a plurality of academic programs while retaining the confidentiality of individual applicants is shown. Multiple parameters both immediate and historic are used to evaluate agent quality and individual student success probability.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACHIEVING CANDIDATE DIVERSITY IN A CANDIDATE APPLICATION SYSTEM
A system and/or method can be provided for improving applicant diversity by giving institutions selectable and adjustable application windows, thereby providing a number of benefits including an enriched learning environment. A similar system or method may be used to manage the availability of application windows in general to ensure that a diversity of applicant groups have an opportunity to apply.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING SCHOLARSHIPS USING A DONOR INTERFACE
A system for managing scholarships comprises a database including scholars, a donor interface, and a payment module. Each scholar in the database is associated with a school using a student identification number. The donor interface is configured to display a list of the scholars from the database based on criteria selected by a donor. The donor interface is also configured to select at least one of the scholars and generate a scholarship for the selected scholar. The amount of each scholarship is associated with a task. The task relates to a topic selected by the donor. The payment module is configured to receive payment from the donor to fund the scholarship and provide payment to the school when the task associated with the scholarship has been completed.
