SYSTEM, PLATFORM AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERING USERS BETWEEN VIRTUAL ROOMS
There is provided, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, a system, platform and methods to provide enhanced virtual meeting management. The system may include a system management console; a program management console; and a participant navigation module, wherein the system management console provides a user with a single personalized link (SPL), and wherein the program management console provides automated access to multiple secured virtual meetings as per the participant's selected schedule, using the SPL, and wherein the participant trafficking module enables automated transfers of the user to appropriate virtual meetings based on the participant's predefined schedule.
Personalized table of contents (TOC) generation based on search results
The present invention is a system and method that generates a Table of Contents (TOC) customized to the user knowledge about the concept(s) in the user query and the specific context and preferences of the user. The invention identifies search concepts within the search queries, receives search results, and splits the search results into one or more result segments. In a preferred embodiment, a correlation strength between concepts in one or more of the result segments and the user search query, along with reference to the user knowledge, context, and/or preferences determine which result segments are selected in sequenced to form the TOC.
Data management systems for scholarship programs
Technologies are provided for managing scholarship programs. An example method can include receiving scholarship applications for students, each scholarship application identifying school preferences and a household income of a student, the school preferences defining a ranked set of school entities; calculating a prioritized scholarship queue of students based on the scholarship applications and criteria including reservation dates associated with the students and the household income associated with each student; matching each student in the prioritized scholarship queue with a scholarship(s) for a school entity identified in the school preferences associated with the student; for each student, determining whether one or more scholarship pools have sufficient funds for the scholarship(s), the one or more scholarship pools corresponding to the school entities identified in the school preferences associated with the student; and when a scholarship pool has sufficient funds for a scholarship, reserving funds for the scholarship from the scholarship pool.
College admissions and career mentorship platform
The present disclosure provides a method, which may comprise obtaining a plurality of essay prompts, processing each essay prompt of said plurality of essay prompts using a natural language processing (NLP) algorithm to extract at least one feature from said each essay prompt and, using said at least one feature from said each essay prompt, generating two or more subsets of said plurality of essay prompts, wherein an essay prompt in a subset satisfies a measure of similarity with respect to each other essay prompt in said subset such that a single essay can be responsive to each essay prompt in said subset.
System and method for achieving candidate diversity in a candidate application system
A system and/or method can be provided for improving applicant diversity by giving institutions selectable and adjustable application windows, thereby providing a number of benefits including an enriched learning environment. A similar system or method may be used to manage the availability of application windows in general to ensure that a diversity of applicant groups have an opportunity to apply.
Machine learning for optimal student guidance
Techniques for training and evaluating machine-learning models for providing student guidance are described herein. In some embodiments, a network service generates a set of clusters that group a plurality of students by similarity. The network service trains a machine-learning model based on variances in outcomes and actions leading to the outcomes for students that belong to a same cluster in the set of clusters. The network service evaluates the machine-learning model for a student that has been mapped to the same cluster to identify at least one action that the student has not performed that is predictive of an optimal outcome for other students that belong to the same cluster. Responsive to evaluating the machine-learning model, the network service presents, through an interface, a recommendation that the student perform the at least one action.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING MULTI-REQUEST APPLICATIONS
A system receives application data to be used in requests made on behalf of an applicant to a selection of evaluator devices. The system includes a predictive model which predicts actual eligibility criteria for acceptance of a request by the evaluator devices, and is trained with a library of application data including previously evaluated requests and outcomes to the previously evaluated requests. The system compiles the application data into separate requests by synchronizing the application data and identifying a common core of data required by each selected evaluator device and compiling the common core of data along with particular requirements of individual evaluator devices. An applicant can thereby complete a multi-request application which generates requests to a plurality of evaluator devices and which avoids duplication of data storage and data transmission, and reduces effort required by the applicant. Implementations include students making applications for admission to academic institutions
System and method for determining an amount of correlation between non-orthogonal vectors characterizing curricula participation
Systems and methods for determining an amount of correlation between non-orthogonal vectors characterizing quantified curricula participation include generating a prioritization matrix for the scholarship including entries associated with ideal characteristics of scholarship applicants; generating an applicant attribute vector characterizing attributes of an applicant extracted from the application; calculating a product for each entry of the prioritization matrix by multiplying corresponding entries of the prioritization matrix and the applicant attribute vector; applying a weighting factor to the product for each entry of the prioritization matrix resulting in weighted products for each entry of the prioritization matrix; accumulating the weighted products into an applicant quality score indicating an amount of correlation between the prioritization matrix and the applicant attribute vector; transmitting an enhanced data packet to another computing device including the applicant attribute vector, the prioritization matrix, or the applicant quality score; and calculating a remaining scholarship budget.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MENTORING STUDENTS AND FACILITATING THEIR ENTRY INTO HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONS
A computer-based system, and a computer-implemented method, mentors students, particularly women and ethnic and racial minorities, intending to enter healthcare professions. The system uses a gamified mobile-enabled web application (App) that serves as a visual and interactive dashboard populated with checklists, career support resources, strategies, tips, and a mentoring platform to educate, encourage, empower, and facilitate the entry of students into the healthcare professions.
Method and system for distribution of university student degree completion data
The invention is directed to a system and method for collection, distribution and delivery of university student enrollment, progress, and degree completion data, media content, and other data to campus students, faculty, users, employees, and external stakeholders, and more particularly to an integrated distribution system and method that obtains data from multiple sources into a single database, extracts and validates relevant data from the multiple sources and removes legacy formatting and non-essential information, provides user-centric reports, and distributes graphic media from one or more filtered special-purpose user-centric reports that is published to user display devices.
