EVALUATION RESPONSE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A computer-implemented method, computer program product and computing system for obtaining an underwriting model from each of a plurality of insurance providers, resulting in a plurality of underwriting models; generating a dynamic underwriting model based, at least in part, upon the plurality of underwriting models; receiving a request for an insurance quote; requesting applicant information based, at least in part, upon the dynamic underwriting model, thus defining dynamic applicant information; and providing at least a portion of the dynamic applicant information to each of the plurality of insurance providers for the purpose of generating the insurance quote.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ADMINISTRATION OF ADMISSION OFFERS FROM EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
A computer implemented method for administration of admission offers from educational institutions including receiving student information from students, generating a unique student identifier for each of the students, generating a universal student profile for each of the students on the database, the universal student profile including the unique student identifier, student identification information, and student qualification information for each of the students, identifying matching students from a plurality of universal student profiles stored on the database whose qualification information satisfies the entrance requirement information of any of the plurality of educational institution profiles stored on the database, generating on the database an anonymized version of the universal student profile of each of the matching students, and transmitting over the data network the anonymized version of the universal student profile of each of the matching students to educational institutions whose entrance requirements have been satisfied by the matching students.
System and method for multi-institutional optimization for a candidate application system
A system and/or method can be provided for optimizing data-sharing in a multi-institutional application system using, where appropriate, semi-blind data-viewing in a semi-cooperative context. A method for evaluating agent quality, individual student success probability, and sharing these evaluations among a plurality of applicants to a plurality of academic programs while retaining the confidentiality of individual applicants is shown. Multiple parameters both immediate and historic are used to evaluate agent quality and individual student success probability.
Systems and methods for helping language learners learn more
The invention includes a group of programs that help people learn languages. The programs include explanations of the grammatical rules of the language that a user is trying to learn, and statistical analyses of the types of errors that the individual user makes, and ways that these errors can be corrected. Most embodiments reinforce students' language learning using systems of visual displays, data graphics, and a “grammar of graphics”. The programs can be run on cellular phones, computers, and other electronic devices. The programs can be used by a student to learn a language, or by an instructor to augment a class being taught to students. Some embodiments also allow a student to preserve records of his or her progress and the types of errors that he or makes, between classes, allowing an instructor to tailor a class to the strengths and weaknesses of the students in the class.
Detecting and removing bias in subjective judging
A method, system, and computer program product algorithmically analyzes scoring data from a competitive event where the scoring, determined by a plurality of evaluators, is based on subjective criteria. The method receives, and/or determines a scale factor associated with each evaluator. The method adjusts scores awarded by each evaluator, based on respectively corresponding scale factors, to arrive at normalized scores. The method, thereby minimizes influences of biases associated with the evaluators.
System for Interest-Aligned Educational Degree Planning
A system that characterizes majors and academic courses with vectors that can be matched to testable student interests is provided. Majors and courses can then be recommended by a matching of student interests with characterized courses. The system combines elements of both psychology and technology, to greatly reduce the challenge of selecting courses and majors, by automating parts of the complex selection process to produce understandable options. Improved matching of majors and courses to individuals can provide multiple benefits including improved educational outcomes, enhanced student retention, and significant reduction in student debt.
Career Accelerator Toolkit
Software tools serve universities and their prospective and enrolled students in the development of clearly understood career pathways, attainment of skills, and transition to employment. Exemplary embodiments are designed to better reveal the connections between chosen majors, required coursework, developed skills, future employment, and regional labor markets, while also providing data to better understand a student's process of making educational and career choices when exposed to this data. An overall goal of the product is to affect increased enrollment and successful outcomes of underserved and non-traditional students through exposure to guaranteed transfer pathways, cost savings, timely matriculation, higher retention, and increased post-graduation job opportunities focused on regional job markets.
Academic program recommendation
Operations include recommending and presenting academic programs for students. An academic program recommendation model generates recommendations based on a target student's specific characteristics. An academic program is recommended to the target student if the target student's characteristics match the characteristics of other students that have successfully completed the academic program. An academic program is not recommended to the target student if the target student's characteristics match the characteristics of other students that have failed to complete the academic program after some threshold period of time. The system presents an interface for comparing multiple academic programs that have been evaluated in view of a target student's specific characteristics. The interface concurrently lists each of a set of academic programs with a corresponding likelihood of success determined for the target student.
ACCOUNT PROGRAM SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed are systems and methods that efficiently and reliably allows school district(s) and municipalities as well as third parties provide incentives to students' accounts, and those incentive awards can be converted to funds for additional education expenses. In one aspect, the method includes reconciling a plurality of transactions transferring funds to a student account from a municipal account upon a corresponding student accomplishing at least one of a plurality of goals. The goals are each based upon completion of an action stored in a municipal database. The method includes, upon reconciling the transactions, determining that a remaining amount in the municipal account is less than a predetermined threshold and automatically generating and transmitting an alert message to a dashboard user interface of the municipal account for display on a municipal workstation comprising an indicator that the remaining amount in the municipal account is less than the predetermined threshold.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING EXTENSIBLE ELECTRONIC LEARNING SYSTEMS
An extensible electronic learning system having at least one learning management system having a learning management processor and a learning management memory operatively coupled thereto, said processor programmed for executing at least one learning management service and providing at least one extensible integration module. Each extensible integration module includes a predefined vendor services interface comprising at least one vendor services definition, and a vendor configuration upload component for receiving vendor configuration settings about at least one vendor. The at least one vendor having a vendor processor and a vendor memory operatively coupled thereto, said vendor processor programmed for executing a least one vendor services, the at least one of said vendor services implementing the at least one of said vendor service definition, and providing at least one vendor integration module, each vendor integration module comprising the predefined vendor services interface and the vendor configuration settings. The vendor configuration settings are received by the extensible integration module such that the learning management system may request the at least one of said vendor services based on the extensible integration module.
