INTEGRATED EDUCATION MANAGEMENT METHODS AND SYSTEMS
Embodiments provide integrated education management methods and systems to provide a personalized learning platform to users. An integrated education management system (IEMS) that includes an intelligent SaaS platform provides user a single interface for accessing different departments, functionalities or services of an organization. The Intelligent SaaS Platform provides a personalized learning platform and a subscriber network to learners. The personalized learning platform provide individual learning plans that empower students to learn at their own choice of time, place, and pace. The subscriber network connects a plurality of users, such as learners, personal mentors of the learners, resource creators, tutorial agents, or the like to share/sell and buy personalized and customized learning plan for the learners. This platform also includes analytical tools and engines that provide learning recommendations for the learners. The analytical tools and engines use all indicators from the software that are used in providing the learning recommendations.
CORRELATING JOBS WITH PERSONALIZED LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN ONLINE EDUCATION PLATFORMS
Employers or recruiters populate an online database with job postings. The concepts that job applicants need to have learned to be successful applicants for a job are stated or inferred from the job posting and optionally resumes of others who have held that job. A student's own learning activities are logged by an online education platform. From a comparison between the student's completed learning units and a job posting's required learning units, a personalized learning unit gap can be identified for a student. The online education platform can then recommend how the student can fill the gap by undertaking the study of learning units on the education platform.
Targeted learning and recruitment
Embodiments for targeted learning and recruitment by a processor. Attributes obtained from a user profile are used to identify a user as a potential candidate for performing an activity related to either the recruiting or the learning and providing a customized learning experience with targeted course suggestions for the user.
METHOD OF CHOOSING A CAREER
A method of choosing a career including providing a computer system programmed to accept and process information and career preferences inputted by a current and future career seeker, and to provide a list of career choices based on their information and career preferences. The method further includes having the current and future career seeker experience the work and working environment of their career choices and input their feedback and rating of those career choices into the computer system for evaluation by the computer system. The computer system is further adapted to reevaluate and modify the list of career choices presented to the current and future career seeker based upon their feedback and ratings.
COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED DOCUMENTS MANAGEMENT
An automated documents management system may be configured to: enable an applicant user, such as a seafarer, to create, store, and access personal, career, and professional development information in the system database so that the applicant user can see all his documents and applications with their statuses in online format; enable an applicant user, such as a seafarer, to take online tests or examinations, via one or more client devices, instead of having to going offline and travel to special testing centers in order to earn a license, professional certification, or other credential that verifies someone's knowledge, skills and abilities to perform a specific job; and generate electronic documents, such as a license, professional certification, or other credential that verifies someone's knowledge, skills and abilities to perform a specific job which can then be verified in any point of the world if via an internet network connection.
CUSTOMIZED CAREER COUNSELING AND MANAGEMENT
Systems, methods, and computer program products leveraging the use of data collection, analytics and predictive modeling to selectively provide customized career and education counseling based on each individual user's interests, personality, preferences, geographic location, habits and experiences. The collected user data and user-defined parameters define a user profile, providing insight into career or educational options best suited to the user. Further educational and career information may be collected and presented to the user, including enrollment information from one or more colleges and universities, specific educational programs aligned with the user's defined profile, and descriptions of courses and curriculum. The presentation of the career and educational information to the user may be tracked using a recording device and the reaction of the user while viewing the presented content may be used to gauge user interest in the presented materials and as feedback to improve future recommendations and presentations of materials.
RAPID ITEM DEVELOPMENT USING INTELLIGENT TEMPLATES TO EXPEDITE ITEM BANK EXPANSION
A system and method for rapidly developing items is presented. A root item is created or identified as a starting point for development of an item template. The item template is developed from the selected root item using a key calculation as well as calculations to generate distractors to ensure that an item discriminates well. The template identifies variables, provides the calculation and rationale for each answer option, and defines any variable constraints. Items are then cloned from the template. The cloned items may be identical in format to the root items. Finally, the statistical performance of the cloned item is verified by subjecting a few select cloned items to undergo an initial statistical analysis to validate the performance of a template and, once validated, multiple cloned items may be created and used in scored positions on future test administrations without needing to pretest.
SKILL PLATFORM SYSTEM, SKILL MODELING DEVICE, AND SKILL DISSEMINATION METHOD
According to one embodiment, a skill platform system includes a data acquisition unit, a model creation unit and a skill provision unit. The data acquisition unit is configured to acquire data on work of a skilled worker at a first site. The model creation unit is configured to perform modeling a skill of the skilled worker using the data acquired by the data acquisition unit. The skill provision unit is configured to provide the skill of the skilled worker to a second site by using the model created by the model creation unit.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SKILL SHARING
The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for skill sharing. A user's first click operation on a sharing link of a first skill is received; and the page jumps to a skill development page according to the first click operation, where the skill development page includes an input box of a link and an import button, and the input box is used to input a sharing link of a skill, while the import button is used to input an import instruction of the skill; and the first skill is imported into a skill development platform according to a user operation. By generating a sharing link of the skill, the sharing link of the skill can be shared within any location in existing sharing ways. The sharing manner thus enables the user to import the first skill in a variety of ways and avoids repeated development from different developers.
CONTEXTUAL AND PROFILE TARGETED CONTENT ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATION IN AN ON-DEMAND COMPUTING SERVICES ENVIRONMENT
An on-demand computing services environment provides computing services to clients via the Internet. The on-demand computing services environment may be associated with skills that each identify the use of a one or more features of the environment. Skill ratings associated with one or more of the skills may be identified for a user account. A recommendation profile for the user account may be determined based on the designated skill ratings and a skill graph indicating dependency relationships between the skills. The recommendation profile may identify one or more training modules to be completed in association with the user account. A recommendation message including one or more recommendations selected from the recommendation profile may be transmitted to the client machine.
