20210156942 · 2021-05-27 ·

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, apparatus, and computer readable medium for detecting an immune factor responsive to a contrast agent. In some embodiments, pre-contrast image data, early timepoint image data, and delayed timepoint image data are received. In some embodiments, an early timepoint map is generated using a comparison of the pre-contrast image data to the early timepoint image data, and a delayed timepoint map is generated using a comparison of the pre-contrast image data to the delayed timepoint image data, where the early timepoint map represents intravascular contrast, the delayed timepoint map represents the intravascular contrast and extravascular contrast, and the extravascular contrast indicates the immune factor. In some embodiments, a combined immune factor map is generated by voxel-wise subtraction of the early timepoint map from the delayed timepoint map.

System and method for diagnosing severity of gastric cancer

A diagnostic system, method, and a computer-readable storage medium for determining a severity of a gastric condition, such as gastric cancer, in a subject are disclosed. The diagnostic system includes a processor that can obtain various images of a stomach of the subject including wavelength images and generate difference images from the wavelength images. The processor can compare the subject images with reference images representative of different severity levels of gastric cancer, or can input the subject images into a learned model trained using the reference images stored in the database to extract a feature pattern corresponding to a severity of gastric cancer to diagnose the subject as having a particular severity level of gastric cancer.

PROVIDING A VASCULAR IMAGE DATA RECORD

A computer-implemented method for providing a vascular image data record includes receiving a plurality of projection-X-ray images recorded in temporal succession. The plurality of projection-X-ray images at least partially map a common examination region of an examination object. The plurality of projection-X-ray images map a temporal change in the examination region of the examination object. A change image data record is determined in each case based on at least one region of interest of the plurality of projection-X-ray images. The at least one region of interest includes a plurality of image points. The change image data record in each case includes a time-intensity curve for each of the image points. The vascular image data record is generated based on the change image data record, and the vascular image data record is provided.

METHOD AND SYSTEM TO MAP BIOLOGICAL PESTS IN AGRICULTURAL FIELDS USING REMOTELY-SENSED DATA FOR FIELD SCOUTING AND TARGETED CHEMICAL APPLICATION
20210144987 · 2021-05-20 ·

A method for precisely applying chemicals targeted by digital maps developed from remotely sensed data, including: obtaining EOS data through a growing season of a crop growing in a field; processing the EOS data to reflectance values; removing error-inducing effects of atmospheric alteration from the processed EOS data; calculating from the processed EOS data a crop performance index that indicates one or more poor performing areas of the field; generating one or more maps of the crop performance index to allow a user to determine whether each of the one or more poor performing areas of the field are due to biological pests instead of topographic or soil constraints in discrete locations of the field; guiding the user to the one or more poor performing areas of the field using the one or more maps to allow the user to scout the one or more poor performing areas of the field to confirm and identify the biological pests; and providing guidance for a chemical application at the one or more poor performing areas that were confirmed as having the biological pests. Other embodiments are provided.

Apparatus and Method to Perform Per-Pixel Microbolometer Camera Time Constant Measurements
20210156742 · 2021-05-27 ·

An apparatus to measure the time constant of microbolometer-type uncooled thermal imaging camera pixels on a per-pixel basis has been developed. The apparatus utilizes a longwave infrared laser and acousto-optic modulator as a periodic light source to excite the pixels of the camera's focal plane array. The image frames captured by the camera during excitation are then processed and the data fit using the algorithms developed to find the time constant for each pixel in the array.

Dynamic Area Thresholding for Automatic Crop Health Change Detection and Alerting System
20210158527 · 2021-05-27 ·

A method and system for crop health change monitoring is provided. The method includes acquiring a companion image of a crop growing within a field at a first point in time, acquiring a master image of the crop growing within the field at a second point in time, and computing, using a processor, vegetation indices using the master image and the companion image for subsequently determining regions of change within the master image. An alert condition is determined if change within one or more of the regions of change is sufficient to meet defined criteria. If a minimum field area threshold is met, a modulation coefficient is applied to the defined criteria that determines the alert condition. The coefficient reduces area-based thresholds used in health detection in a manner proportional to the size of the agricultural field of interest.
