MULTIPLE PHYSICAL CONDITIONS EMBODIED IN BODY PART IMAGES TO GENERATE AN ORTHOTIC

Disclosed is a technique for use in generating and delivering 3-D printed wearables via the use of body image data where the body is in under multiple physical conditions. Some embodiments include further body part data including videos of sequences of motion, static images, both 2-D and 3-D modeling, and user preference. Users take videos and/or photos of parts of their body as input into a custom wearable generation application. The body photos are subjected to a precise computer vision (CV) process to determine specific measurements of the user's body and the stresses.

AUTOMATED PLANT DISEASE DETECTION

Disclosed is a technique for automatically performing disease detection using image processing. The technique includes receiving, from image capture devices, a first image depicting a first set of plants of a first unit and a second image depicting a second set of plants of a second unit. One or more metrics associated with the first and second sets of the plants are measured based at least on the images. At least one difference in the first and second sets of the plants is detected based at least on differences in the measurement for the one or more metrics associated with the first set of the plants and the second set of the plants. In response to detecting the at least one difference, additional images of the plants are requested from the one or more image capture devices to detect the presence of plant disease.

Image processing device and X-ray diagnostic apparatus

According to one embodiment, an image processing device includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry sequentially acquires image data of time-sequential DSA images of an object, and acquires a parameter value for each pixel based on temporal change of a pixel value of the each pixel corresponding to the same region of the object in the sequentially acquired image data of time-sequential DSA images. Further, the processing circuitry sequentially generates image data of parameter images in such a manner that identification information according to the parameter value is assigned to the each pixel corresponding to the same region of the object, each time image data of a DSA image of the latest time phase being acquired.

Apparatus and method for extracting low intensity photonic signals

A system for detecting stimulated emission from a material of interest comprising: an excitation source; and an imaging component; wherein, in use, the system is configured to: a) emit excitation radiation from the excitation source for a first time period, the excitation radiation having a wavelength suitable for inducing stimulated emission in the material of interest; b) capture a first image via the imaging component, the first image substantially consisting of a background illumination component and a stimulated emission component; c) stop emitting excitation radiation for a second time period; d) capture a second image via the imaging component, the second image substantially consisting of the background illumination component; e) create a difference image corresponding to the difference between the first and second images, such that the difference image includes any stimulated emission signals from the material of interest.

X-ray diagnostic apparatus and image processing apparatus

In an X-ray diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment, an X-ray generator configured to irradiate an X-ray to a subject. An X-ray detector configured to detect the X-ray. Processing circuitry configured to generate a plurality of X-ray images chronologically based on X-rays that have passed through the subject to which a contrast media is injected, and that have been detected by the X-ray detector. The processing circuitry configured to extract a first image from among the X-ray images, the first image when any one of a change in a pixel value between predetermined two images and a predetermined region in one image is equal to or smaller than a threshold. A display configured to display, after the first image is extracted, a plurality of X-ray images that have been generated prior to the first image in reverse chronological order.

Image processing apparatus, image processing method, image processing system, and program

An image processing apparatus in which identification of a corresponding target point between images is easily performed, and physically appropriate registration can be performed by using the identification is provided. The image processing apparatus obtains coordinate transformation for respectively transforming a first image and a second image obtained by imaging an object to a first transformed image and a second transformed image, obtains correspondence information that serves as information of a corresponding point included in each of the first transformed image and the second transformed image, respectively transforms the correspondence information to positions in the first image and the second image, and obtains deformation transformation for performing registration of the first image and the second image on the basis of information of the corresponding points in the first image and the second image.

Method and system for enhanced visualization of lung sliding by automatically detecting and highlighting lung sliding in images of an ultrasound scan

An ultrasound device performs an ultrasound scan to acquire a video clip having images of a portion of a lung. The ultrasound device detects lung sliding in each of the images. The ultrasound device highlights the detected lung sliding in each of the images to generate processed images. The ultrasound device displays at least one of the processed images as one or more of an enhanced B mode image and an enhanced virtual M mode image.

HYBRID REGISTRATION METHOD

A registration method whereby a sensor-based approach is used to establish initial registration and whereby upon the commencement of navigating an endoscope, image-based registration methods are used in order to more accurately maintain the registration between the endoscope location and previously-acquired images. A six-degree-of-freedom location sensor is placed on the probe in order to reduce the number of previously-acquired images that must be compared to a real-time image obtained from the endoscope.
