The method may include: acquiring ultrasonic video data to be displayed; obtaining at least one representative frame from the ultrasonic video data; classifying the representative frame to obtain a category of the representative frame, and determining a category of the ultrasonic video data according to the category of the representative frame; and displaying in categories the ultrasonic video data according to the category of the ultrasonic video data.
MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
There is provided a medical image processing apparatus which includes a first extraction unit configured to extract coronary arteries depicted in images of a plurality of time phases relating to the heart, and to extract at least one stenosed part depicted in each coronary artery; a calculation unit configured to calculate a pressure gradient of each of the extracted coronary arteries, based on tissue blood flow volumes of the coronary arteries; a second extraction unit configured to extract an ischemic region depicted in the images; and a specifying unit configured to specify a responsible blood vessel of the ischemic region by referring to a dominance map, in which each of the extracted coronary arteries and a dominance territory are associated, for the extracted ischemic region, and to specify a responsible stenosis, based on the pressure gradient corresponding to a stenosed part in the specified responsible blood vessel.
GLOBAL BALANCE USING DYNAMIC MOTION ANALYSIS
An exemplary method of determining a surgical spinal correction for a subject using analysis of motion capture images of the subject, which uses the steps of obtaining pre-operative three-dimensional images of a spinal region, obtaining a pre-operative time sequenced set of images of the subject during a movement progression of said subject, calculating in a plurality of the motion capture images, alignment parameters relating to upper and lower body regions of the subject, and determining if any of the calculated alignment parameters are outside their predetermined acceptable ranges in one or more of the images, iteratively adjusting anatomical elements in three-dimensional images until all of the calculated alignment parameters are within their predetermined acceptable ranges; and adjusting spinal anatomy in the three-dimensional images according to the degree of adjustment of spinal parameters in the motion capture images to determine a surgical spinal correction.
USING AN INTRAORAL MIRROR WITH AN INTEGRATED CAMERA TO RECORD DENTAL STATUS, AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
Disclosed embodiments integrate a camera into an intraoral mirror. Integrating a camera into an intraoral mirror provides an efficient way to record and display what is visible to the healthcare provider in the mirror.
AUGMENTED REALITY PATIENT POSITIONING USING AN ATLAS
The disclosed method encompasses using an augmented reality device to blend in augmentation information including for example atlas information. The atlas information may be display separately from or in addition to a patient image (planning image). In order to display the atlas information in a proper position relative to the patient image, the two data sets are registered to one another. This registration can serve for generating a diversity of atlas-based image supplements, for example alternatively or additionally to the foregoing for displaying a segmentation of the patient image in the augmented reality image. The disclosed method is usable in a medical environment such as for surgery or radiotherapy.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MONITORING OF A HUMAN OR ANIMAL SUBJECT
A method and apparatus for monitoring a human or animal subject in a room using video imaging of the subject and analysis of the video image to detect and quantify movement of the subject and to derive an estimate of vital signs such as heart rate or breathing rate. The method includes techniques for de-correlating global intensity variations such as sunlight changes, compensating for noise, eliminating areas not of interest in the image, and quickly and automatically finding regions of interest for detecting subject movement and estimating vital signs. A logic machine is used for interpreting detected movement of the subject, and an artificial neural network is used to calculate a confidence measure for the vital signs estimates from signal quality indices. The confidence measure may be used with a normal density filter to output estimates of the vital signs.
MEDICAL DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, MEDICAL OBSERVATION DEVICE, DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD, AND MEDICAL OBSERVATION SYSTEM
Provided is a medical display control device including a display control unit that causes a first captured medical image and a second captured medical image to be simultaneously displayed, the first captured medical image having been captured in an imaging device in a first imaging mode where imaging is performed with special light, the second captured medical image having been captured in the imaging device in a second imaging mode different from the first imaging mode before the first captured medical image.
Systems and methods for spill detection
A pharmaceutical filling system for a high volume pharmacy is described. The system can include a spill detection subsystem and method. The system can include a cameras to take images that a processed to determine presence of a spilled pharmaceutical. A mirror portion is provided so that the camera can take images of the entire field of the filling area. The mirror portion can be a concave mirror that increases the field of view of the camera. A light panel can illuminate the field of view to allow the camera to take high speed images. A controller can receive a series of at least two images captured by the camera and determine whether an object in the captured images is a spilled pharmaceutical.
Analyzing operational data influencing crop yield and recommending operational changes
Implementations relate to diagnosis of crop yield predictions and/or crop yields at the field- and pixel-level. In various implementations, a first temporal sequence of high-elevation digital images may be obtained that captures a geographic area over a given time interval through a crop cycle of a first type of crop. Ground truth operational data generated through the given time interval and that influences a final crop yield of the first geographic area after the crop cycle may also be obtained. Based on these data, a ground truth-based crop yield prediction may be generated for the first geographic area at the crop cycle's end. Recommended operational change(s) may be identified based on distinct hypothetical crop yield prediction(s) for the first geographic area. Each distinct hypothetical crop yield prediction may be generated based on hypothetical operational data that includes altered data point(s) of the ground truth operational data.
Super resolution and color motion artifact correction in a pulsed hyperspectral imaging system
Super resolution and color motion artifact correction in a pulsed hyperspectral imaging system. A method includes actuating an emitter to emit a plurality of pulses of electromagnetic radiation and sensing reflected electromagnetic radiation with a pixel array of an image sensor to generate a plurality of exposure frames. The method includes detecting motion across two or more sequential exposure frames, compensating for the detected motion, and combining the two or more sequential exposure frames to generate an image frame. The method is such that at least a portion of the plurality of pulses of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the emitter comprises one or more of electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength from about 513 nm to about 545 nm, from about 565 nm to about 585 nm, or from about 900 nm to about 1000 nm.
