The method includes: creating planning information for a therapeutic intervention into a body vessel segment based on a reconstruction of the body vessel segment; providing the planning information to a processing unit of the x-ray device; providing the reconstruction of the body vessel segment to the processing unit; creating a recording of the body vessel segment introduced into a recording region of the x-ray device; registering the reconstruction of the body vessel segment with the body vessel segment in the recording region of the x-ray device; displaying the recording of the body vessel segment on a display device of the x-ray device; and superimposing a graphical representation of the planning information on the recording displayed on the display device, in order to increase the efficiency of the therapeutic intervention into the body vessel segment.

System and method for vascular tree generation using patient-specific structural and functional data, and joint prior information

Systems and methods are disclosed for simulating microvascular networks from a vascular tree model to simulate tissue perfusion under various physiological conditions to guide diagnosis or treatment for cardiovascular disease. One method includes: receiving a patient-specific vascular model of a patient's anatomy, including a vascular network; receiving a patient-specific target tissue model in which a blood supply may be estimated; receiving joint prior information associated with the vascular model and the target tissue model; receiving data related to one or more perfusion characteristics of the target tissue; determining one or more associations between the vascular network of the patient-specific vascular model and one or more perfusion characteristics of the target tissue using the joint prior information; and outputting a vascular tree model that extends to perfusion regions in the target tissue, using the determined associations between the vascular network and the perfusion characteristics.

Method and apparatus for calculating the contact position of an ultrasound probe on a head
10420532 · 2019-09-24 · ·

A data processing method for calculating the contact position of a medical ultrasound transceiver on the head of a patient, comprising the steps of: a) acquiring ROI data which represent a region of interest (ROI) corresponding to at least a part of a vessel in a vascular structure; b) acquiring contact region data which represent a contact region for the ultrasound transceiver on the head, wherein the contact region corresponds to one or more acoustic windows; c) determining at least one target point in the region of interest; d) determining at least two entry points on the contact region; e) calculating a set of lines which comprises the lines between the two points of each respective possible pair consisting of one entry point and one target point; f) eliminating lines which pass through a bony structure other than the bone immediately beneath the contact region; g) calculating a score for each of the remaining lines; and h) selecting the entry point of the line with the highest score as the contact position of the ultrasound transceiver.

A movement of an area whose shape changes for each respiration or for each heartbeat is displayed. A diagnosis support program that analyzes images of a human body and displays analysis results, the program causing a computer to execute: processing of acquiring a plurality of frame images from a database that stores the images (S1); processing of specifying a respiratory cycle based on pixels in a specific area in each of the frame images (S2); processing of detecting a lung field based on the specified respiratory cycle (S3); processing of dividing the detected lung field into a plurality of block areas (S4) and calculating a change in image in a block area in each of the frame images (S5); processing of performing a Fourier analysis of a change in image in each block area in each of the frame images (S6); and processing of displaying each image after the Fourier analysis on a display as a pseudo color image (S7).

Systems and Methods for Acceleration of Dictionary Generation and Matching in Perfusion Analysis

A method for determining quantitative parameters for dynamic contrast-enhanced MR data includes acquiring a set of contrast-enhanced MR data for a region of interest using a T1-weighted pulse sequence, generating at least one contrast concentration curve based on the set of contrast-enhanced MR data, accessing a comprehensive dictionary of contrast concentration curves and generating a grouped dictionary that has a plurality of groups based on the comprehensive dictionary. Each group includes a plurality of correlated contrast concentration curves and a group representative signal for the group. The method also includes comparing a contrast concentration curve with the group representative signal of each group to select a group, comparing the contrast concentration curve to the plurality of correlated contrast concentration curves in the selected group to identify a set of quantitative parameters for the concentration curve and generating a report including the set of quantitative parameter.

SCORING INTRAVASCULAR LESIONS AND STENT DEPLOYMENT IN MEDICAL INTRALUMINAL ULTRASOUND IMAGING
20190282211 · 2019-09-19 ·

Systems, devices, and methods are provided to provide medical imaging and measurement of features with a lumen of a patient. An intraluminal imaging system may be configured to receive imaging data from an imaging device positioned within the lumen and identify and measure features within the imaging data, such as lesions and stents. The measurements may be used to generate a lesion score and/or an expansion score. The lumen score, expansion score, and associated measurements may be displayed to a user to assist in further imaging procedures or treatment options for the patient.
