The processor is configured to perform processing of acquiring a detection target image captured by an endoscope apparatus, controlling the endoscope apparatus based on control information, detecting a region of interest included in the detection target image based on the detection target image for calculating estimated probability information representing a probability of the detected region of interest, identifying the control information for improving the estimated probability information related to the region of interest within the detection target image based on the detection target image, and controlling the endoscope apparatus based on the identified control information.

IMAGING APPARATUS

Provided is an imaging apparatus capable of continuously imaging a natural video even though brightness is changed. In an imaging apparatus in which an exposure condition is set based on a characteristic of a transmittance control element, a first exposure condition range is calculated based on photometry of the imaging apparatus. Determination is made whether or not the calculated first exposure condition range is included in a second exposure condition range where a control range acquired by the transmittance control element is applicable. In a case where the calculated first exposure condition range is not included in the second exposure condition range, the exposure condition of the imaging apparatus is changed such that the first exposure condition range is included in the second exposure condition range.

Method and apparatus of adaptive infrared projection control

A processor or control circuit of an apparatus receives data of an image based on sensing by one or more image sensors. The processor or control circuit also detects a region of interest (ROI) in the image. The processor or control circuit then adaptively controls a light projector with respect to projecting light toward the ROI.
