APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ENCODING IN STRUCTURED DEPTH CAMERA SYSTEM
An apparatus and method for measuring a depth in a structured depth camera system including a projector and a camera for receiving light radiated by a source pattern from the projector and reflected from one or more objects in a scene is provided. The apparatus includes an interface unit configured to receive an electrical signal based on light received from the camera; and at least one processor configured to obtain depth information of the scene based on the electrical signal received from the interface unit, wherein the at least one processor is configured to identify a recognition pattern corresponding to the light received by the camera based on the electrical signal, to obtain a total distance value between properties of a partial source pattern corresponding to a target fragment in the source pattern and properties of a partial recognition pattern corresponding to the target fragment in the recognition pattern, and to estimate depth information of the target fragment based on the obtained total distance value.
Path sensing using structured lighting
A structured light pattern is projected onto the path of a vehicle so as to generate a plurality of light spots, and an image thereof is captured from the vehicle. A world-space elevation of at least a portion of the light spots is responsive to a pitch angle of the vehicle determined responsive to image-space locations of down-range-separated light spots.
Method and system for aircraft taxi strike alerting
Apparatus and associated methods relate to ranging object(s) nearby an aircraft using triangulation of pulses of linearly-patterned light projected upon and reflected by the object(s). A light projector projects the pulses of linearly-patterned light in a controllable direction onto the scene external to the aircraft. A reflected portion of the projected pulses is focused onto a selected row or column of light-sensitive pixels of a two-dimensional array, thereby forming a row or column of image data. The direction of projected light and the row or column of pixels selected are coordinated so that the portion of the projected pulses reflected by the scene is received by the camera and focused on the selected one of the rows or columns of light-sensitive pixels. Location(s) and/or range(s) of object(s) in the scene are calculated, based on a projector location, a camera location, and the row or column of image data.
OPTICAL OVERLAY DEVICE
Devices and methods for visibly highlighting areas of a region including an imager configured to image the region with a sensitivity to at least one of wavelength, light level, or contrast greater than the human eye, an overlay element configured to visibly highlight areas of the region and registered to the imager to produce alignment of imaged features with highlighted features at the same location on the region, and at least one of a controller executing a program or logic configured to process acquired images from the imager to identify areas of the region determined not visible to the human eye, and control the overlay element to visibly highlight those areas on the region.
Image Processing Method, Image Processing Apparatus and Electronic Device
An image processing method, an image processing apparatus, an electronic device and a computer readable storage medium are provided. The image processing method includes the following. A background image and a portrait region image of a current user that a preset parameter of the background image matching the preset parameter of the portrait region image are acquired. The portrait region image and the background image are merged to obtain a merged image.
TUNABLE LIGHT PROJECTOR
A tunable light projector including a light source, a fixed optical phase modulator, and a tunable liquid crystal panel is provided. The light source is configured to emit a light beam, and the fixed optical phase modulator is disposed on a path of the light beam and configured to modulate phases of the light beam. The tunable liquid crystal panel is disposed on the path of the light beam and configured to be switched between a plurality of states, wherein the plurality of states include a lens array state in which the tunable liquid crystal panel comprises a lens array.
Information processing apparatus, method of controlling information processing apparatus, and storage medium
An information processing apparatus, comprising: a control unit configured to control a pattern that a projection apparatus projects onto an object; an obtainment unit configured to obtain a plurality of images respectively captured at a plurality of times by a plurality of image capturing apparatuses that capture the object onto which the pattern has been projected; and a measurement unit configured to measure range information of the object by performing matching, between images respectively captured by the plurality of image capturing apparatuses, using information of temporal change of pixel values of the images.
Face detection, pose estimation, and distance from a camera estimation using a single network
A single network encodes and decodes an image captured using a camera on a device. The single network detects if a face is in the image. If a face is detected in the image, the single network determines properties of the face in the image and outputs the properties along with the face detection output. Properties of the face may be determined by sharing the task for face detection. Properties of the face that are output along with the face detection output include the location of the face, the pose of the face, and/or the distance of the face from the camera.
Method and apparatus for control of mobile automation apparatus light emitters
A method of controlling light emitters of a mobile automation apparatus includes: controlling a depth sensor to capture a plurality of depth measurements corresponding to an area containing a support structure; obtaining a support structure plane definition; selecting a subset of the depth measurements; determining, based on the subset of depth measurements and the support structure plane, whether the subset of the depth measurements indicates the presence of a sensitive receptor; when the determination is affirmative, disabling the light emitters; and when the determination is negative, controlling (i) the light emitters to illuminate the support structure and (ii) a camera to capture an image of the support structure simultaneously with the illumination.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING A REGION OF INTEREST OF A SUBJECT
Systems and methods for determining an ROI of a subject are provided. In some embodiments, the system may obtain a target image including the subject situated on a table. The system may also obtain a focus position associated with the ROI of the subject to be scanned or treated by a medical device in the target image. The system may further determine a target table position based on the focus position. In some embodiments, the system may obtain a model image corresponding to the subject. The system may also obtain a virtual area corresponding to a virtual ROI in the model image. The system may also obtain a positioning image of the subject. The system may further determine, in the positioning image, a target area corresponding to the ROI of the subject corresponding to the virtual ROI based on the virtual area and the positioning image.
