At least one display configured to display information in an operating region of the medical suite. A controller is in communication with the scanning device and the display. The controller is configured to control the scanning device to capture identifying information of a patient. Based on the identifying information, the controller is configured to authenticate an identity of the patient. Based on the identity, the controller is configured to access a patient record for the patient. The controller is further configured to control the at least one display to display information based on the patient record.

System and method to acquire the three-dimensional shape of an object using a moving patterned substrate
10706570 · 2020-07-07 · ·

A system and method for acquiring the three-dimensional shape of an object. At least one camera captures a scene in which a projected pattern is moved across an object and reference surface. The movement of said pattern need not be perfectly uniform, because differences in the movement at each step are detected and compensated. This compensation reduces the required hardware complexity and cost.

A region of space may be monitored for the presence or absence of one or more control objects, and object attributes and changes thereto may be interpreted as control information provided as input to a machine or application. In some embodiments, the region is monitored using a combination of scanning and image-based sensing.

Method for augmenting a scene in real space with projected visual content

One variation of method includes: serving setup frames to a projector facing a scene; at a peripheral control module comprising a camera facing the scene, recording a set of images during projection of corresponding setup frames onto the scene by the projector and a baseline image depicting the scene in the field of view of the camera; calculating a pixel correspondence map based on the set of images and the setup frames; transforming the baseline image into a corrected color imagedepicting the scene in the field of view of the camerabased on the pixel correspondence map; linking visual assets to discrete regions in the corrected color image; generating augmented reality frames depicting the visual assets aligned with these discrete regions; and serving the augmented reality frames to the projector to cast depictions of the visual assets onto surfaces, in the scene, corresponding to these discrete regions.

Method and Apparatus for Automated Plant Necrosis

A method of real-time plant selection and removal from a plant field including capturing a first image of a first section of the plant field, segmenting the first image into regions indicative of individual plants within the first section, selecting the optimal plants for retention from the first image based on the first image and the previously thinned plant field sections, sending instructions to the plant removal mechanism for removal of the plants corresponding to the unselected regions of the first image from the second section before the machine passes the unselected regions, and repeating the aforementioned steps for a second section of the plant field adjacent the first section in the direction of machine travel.

Holographic In-Field Illuminator

An eye-tracking system includes a holographic illuminator and a detector. The holographic illuminator includes a light source configured to provide light and a holographic medium optically coupled with the light source. The holographic medium is configured to receive the light provided from the light source and concurrently project a plurality of separate light patterns toward an eye. The detector is configured to detect a reflection of at least a subset of the plurality of separate light patterns, reflected off the eye, for determining a location of a pupil of the eye. Also disclosed is a method for determining a location of a pupil of an eye with the eye-tracking system that includes the holographic illuminator.
